Been here a few times. Friendliest staff, clean, and comfortable. Food is not consistent. One meal is perfect, another the bacon is inedible, tougher than the dry side of a Texas boot. Not the best value for the money when you are gambling with your breakfast meat. Your mileage may vary.

Its a small restaurant. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 930. No wait. Waitress was very friendly and kind. Food was diner style. Rated it a 3 because it was a regular breakfast for me. Same with atmosphere. I ordered the classic breakfast with turkey sausage, eggs over hard, hash browns and grits. My son had strawberry pancakes and scrambled eggs. The pancake looked delicious. I would recommend it if you are visiting UNT and looking for breakfast food.

This is my new favorite place for breakfast. The service is always excellent, they happily accommodate their guests and truly make you feel like you are welcomed there. The food is second to none. The ingredients are fresh and each plate is made to order. There is sometimes a wait but totally worth it. Besides, doesnt that say it all? They also have outdoor seating. If you are with a larger group, you may wish to utilize outdoor seating as their quaint size doesnt allow for indoor larger parties. I am sure with proper notice, they would work out an indoor solution if you were opposed to outdoor eating but I would give them a day to ready the solution if you want good results. Love this little place!!

I came here with a friend and this has to be the worst food I ve had in Denton. I usually go to the frisco location, which is a stark contrast from the food I was served here. I want it to be clear that our server was fantastic, she was attentive and friendly. I asked her about the fruit and she told me that people usually love the mixed berries, so I decided to get some. I wish I took a photo of what was brought out. All of the strawberries were clearly cut at least two days ago, because they had changed color and were soggy. I cut fruit on my own home and they don t look like that days later. The berries were soggy and looked old as well. I asked for a replacement and the manager assured he would bring me freshly cut fruit, and instead of doing so, they hid old fruit at the bottom of the bowl and tried to put the blueberries on top. Literally the same fruit. If that wasn t bad enough, none of the food had any flavor whatsoever. We added salt and pepper to everything, which was a first, and it still had no flavor. No salt on the hash browns, eggs, or chicken. Not to mention, the breading falls entirely off the chicken before you can take a bite. My friend tried the maple syrup on it s own and said it tasted like oil. I don t know what on earth is happening at this location but my best guess is poor management and cooks that lack experience. Please do better.

Everyone we interacted with was attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is clean and refreshing. We all enjoyed our meal. The food tasted delicious. One thing we commented to each other was that we were thankful that we could salt to taste. It seems these days when we go out to eat that restaurants over salt their food. We are not from the area and have been looking for special eateries along our route for future trips, and we feel like this one is top on our list. You should try it out, I bet youll be pleased.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Pancakes were served nice and hot and perfectly cooked. Hot syrup too. The Mediterranean omelette was cooked to perfection. Nice side of fresh fruit. The Starwood eggs benedict were perfect. ( I asked for the hollandaise on the side). Several side dish options. I chose hash browns and cooked crispy, as requested. The coffee was hot and full- bodied. Lots of options on the menu, including gluten free. Belgian waffles. Biscuits. Eggs. Oatmeal. Highly recommend.

Great food, great vibes, even had mimosas , which ALWAYS start off your day well... The omlette I had the chicken fried steak my husband had, was perfect and hot and served in a timely manner. Busy for a Sunday morning, but I like that because I know the food is fresh.... Price is a little on the high end, however, comparing it to a franchise such as Cracker Barrel, which are everywhere, where I would have walked out of there spending just as much for cafeteria food...was WELL worth the cost. Ericha our waitress was funny, helpful, asking our preferences, is a good asset to this restaurant. Highly recommend!

My family & I tried this place out for brunch. We chose breakfast. I chose bacon egg omelet with avocado hash browns & pancakes. The bacon was dry burnt, the eggs tasted okay, hashbrowns were crispy but had a lot of salt. My pancakes were very salty! My husband got a ham cheese omelet hashbrowns waffle & toast. I tasted his omelet & it was delicious. He said his waffle & hashbrowns were too salty. Toast was good. My daughter got chicken fried steak & okra. She loved it said okra & hashbrowns were super salty. Other daughter got eggs sausage bacon. Said it was okay. Water tasted very weird I even ordered lemons to mask taste. I want to start out with the service - B was an absolute gem of a waitress. She was attentive, sweet, and had a great attitude considering she looked busy. So I want to give her the praise she deserves. I had a very typical breakfast - eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns, with a side of pancakes. The food was as you would expect, ad it was actually pretty good. This place was down the street from my Hotel so I will absolutely skip the IHOP and find my way to this place for breakfast or lunch next time Im in town.

Im not sure how theyve structured their culinary flow, but to date, theyve been the fastest kitchen Ive experienced in a to go order. Food was hot, well packaged, exceptionally prepared, with plentiful condiments, and servings were very good portions. While most restaurants seem to determine price point and build a menu around it, Starwood wisely appears to develop an approach of quality first, then cost to meet the need. Wife and daughter had the Mediterranean omelette with mushrooms and avocado added, I had the chicken fried chicken and pecan pancakes. We were all so pleased to have stumbled across Starwood because we were looking for some place close to home where we could pick up breakfast, and found a real gem. Really recommend the hash browns as well.

This is my favorite breakfast spot. We visit here twice a month or more. They have delicious gluten free pancakes, i upgrade them to the very berry style and it s delicious. I thoroughly enjoy most of the take-out experience I get from this establishment, with the exception of their mashed potatoes. I don t know who, or what decided in the last couple of months that throwing a bunch of garbage from the pantry into the mashed potatoes, would make it a big hit, but for most of us in the culinary arts, it is absolutely disgusting, and it needs to stop. Many of your uneducated patrons, who have no idea what their tasting will tell you, oh that s fantastic!. It s not, you know it and the rest of the culinary curcuit it now knows it. This place rocks! Its one of my boyfriend and Is go-to spots for breakfast on the weekend. I went back today for the third or fourth time for a quick lunch during my workday. Their service is always so friendly and fast and the food is delicious. You truly get your moneys worth here too because its inexpensive for big portions. Stellar service as usual! Great food, perfectly prepared! We highly recommend Starwood Cafe. The manager always greets us whenever we come, and we come often. Never disappointed! Love this place!!!!!

The staff and management are very pleasant. The restaurant always appears to be clean. The food was excellent the first four or five times we went. Sadly though the quality of the food has gone down a bit.

Wow! From the hostess to the ticket in roughly 30min . The Starwood Benedict was amazing, my wifes scramble platter was great as well. I do wish the OJ wasnt warm and separated when it was served. The only reason I couldnt give you four stars was a waitress (she was not our waitress so I have no other way to identify her, her appearance bears no weight other than pointing her out, she had tattoos, dyed red hair) she was walking around chewing gum with her mouth open which was very unappealing. I couldnt believe it was allowed. It could have been avoided had she the decency to just pull the mask off her chin and cover her face properly. When we do return I will request anyone but her and if only she is available we will leave. She shared part of the section we were sitting in and would make regular visits to the tables around us and I would have to stop eating and look down because the manner in which she was chewing along with the audible noise was off putting and nearly gag worthy. Please correct this issue so that I may edit this review and begin telling the world about this wonderful find in razor ranch!

Amazing! My husband and I were just driving around and decided to stop and get some breakfast. The server was friendly and the place was very clean (pretty sure its new). The food took 7 minutes to get to us and it was all prepared correctly. We will be going back for sure

My experience, as well as my friend s was EXCELLENT!!! EXCEPTIONAL!!! OUTSTANDING!!! The food was visually appealing and tasty to the palate. I ve never had food that was fresh and maintained the heat from when we arrived until almost the end. The service was impressive. Waitresses were professional, knowledgeable and polite. The manager was engaging and appreciative of our patronage. The cost was more than reasonable when purchasing that quality of food and service. I would love to suggest morning pastries. We will be back!!!! I ve already recommended Starwood Cafe to friends. Bravo.

This place is amazing service was top notch and the food was absolutely amazing. This is one of the only places we can eat as a family as they have several options that are gluten free. There coffee is miles better than the other places in town. Hannah our server was great, always had what we needed. We will definitely eat here again
