Really impressed with this place! The sashimi was fresh, and the sushi combos are well put together. They also offer a nice selection of soups, hot stone bowls, and ramen. The service was friendly, our server was accommodating. Inside is warm and inviting. What a hidden gem! Fine dining quality at very reasonable prices. Thank you Little Katana!

the sushi rolls were not appetizing. Each piece was a different size, leaving some pieces with very little fish and some with too much fish. The spices they used in the spicy tuna were not good. Overall, the sushi was bad, couldn t even finish it.

This is a good restaurant. Food was tasty. My biggest comment is on food delivery timing. The whole table should be served at the same time and not in parts/pieces. I always frown on places that fail to follow that because we all sit there staring at our plates wondering when they will all come out

Fresh food and nicely presented plates. Portion is just right. However gotta ask multiple times for wasabi, ginger, and other condiments. I want thinly sliced lemon, after a long wait I was given chunky pieces and by that time I was done with the food. I was told they charged for the sliced lemon and not the chunks. I didn t mind paying considering what we ordering for food is not cheap.

Ive eaten at many of the high end places in the dfw and around the country. From shoyo, tei tei, uchi/uchiba and many more. This place obviously isnt necessarily fine dining but I am pretty amazed at the food quality. I consider myself a sushi snob and tend to not go to small places like this. Food/fish quality in this type of restaurant is dictated by price. I feel they could charge more for the quality of fish I had. Very fresh and my server was so sweet. I dont often leave reviews but this place deserves it. Will 100 percent be back

We take our two grandchildren to Little Katana once a month. They love sushi and chicken tenders and can get both at Little Katana. Their Rainbow and California rolls are excellent! The food quality is very good but the restaurant is just too big for the size of the kitchen. During lunch, we waited 25 minutes to get an appetizer and 35 minutes to get a bento box. Because the staff isn t really assigned to a table there isn t a sense of ownership and I had to go ask for a status. Honestly there are too many good places in the area that can deliver a great lunch in a good time for us to try again at lunch.

Im visiting from Las Vegas and was taken there for dinner. A very warm and welcoming staff, excellent service, nice variety on the menu, and the best Japanese Fried Rice with chicken Ive ever had. The chicken was moist & flavorful and the fried rice had just a great mix of spices & flavors which complimented the chicken perfectly. Very highly recommended. Oh. My. Goodness. I remember eating at Little Katana Las Colinas when it first opened, and tonight I ordered through Uber Eats. The food is FANTASTIC. I ordered the Sushi Moriawase combo, which comes with 8 pieces of sushi, California or tuna roll and miso soup, all for only $25. I also ordered a spicy tuna roll, edamame, tempura shrimp & veggies, and mango cheesecake. Who puts mango on a cheesecake?! Little Katana does, and it is GLORIOUS. Y all, I haven t had sushi this fresh and delicious in years. Everything was SO GOOD. And while the food and atmosphere feels upscale, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. I will definitely be eating here again.

Best sushi place in all of DFW I love it I go specifically for the lobster roll and the avocado egg rolls. Its delicious! Great place! When I travel I try and visit different places to get a variety of what the location has to offer. I made the mistake of eating here the first night and I ended up coming back for a total of three meals out of my four night trip. Sushi was great. LOVED the Cali rolls! I tried the hot rice and it was good, but not my favorite Salmon Bento was good as well. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

We ve been to this place twice now. The first time it smelt like sewer so it s been awhile since we ve come back. Ordered server Al dishes, veggie tempura, miso dumplings, crispy rice sushi, ramen, noodles, California roll, and white dragon. At first glance the white dragon looked very slimy, and when I went to pick it up it slipped from my chop sticks, seemed unusual. I took a bite and immediately spit it out. It was sooo slimy or extremely fishy I almost got sick. After that I revised my chicken broth ramen and I smelt very funny. The table explained it as if going to a zoo around the giraffes or elephants and that smell of manure. The noodles were very soggy too. I honestly couldn t bring myself to eat it because it smelt so awful. However the other dishes weren t bad. The crispy rice sushi was actually very delicious. Our waitress was also very kind and understanding and she removed the ramen from the check. Which she did not have to do that. It s not her fault. And she even apologized. Unfortunately this is not a place for sushi or ramen I would consider coming to again. Two bad experiences with the food.

I stopped in here in my efforts to avoid rush hour traffic and I am absolutely going to be a repeat customer. Sara(h)? My waitress was so friendly and accommodating - giving me plenty of suggestions for the best sushi/food/dessert from their menu. She even packed me up a to-go coke with my leftovers! I had the blue crab hand roll, the hotpot rice, and the mango cheesecake. The blue crab was Probably the best sushi I ve had yet in DFW, and the mango cheesecake is going to be my new guilty pleasure. I didn t feel like the hotpot was amazing for the price, but it was still a good, solid dish - just expensive for what it was. The waitstaff were all chatting with customers - some obviously regulars - and were really friendly amongst themselves as well. fantastic atmosphere, this is going on my list of favorite restaurants!!! Hats off to Sara, the sushi team, the cooks and the waitstaff!

WoW!!! Little Katana yall doing something special in Las Colinas!! The vibe is super cozy yet CLASSY! Our server Sarah was amazing! She explained everything so we knew what we were getting into. Everything on the menu is delicious!!! But my favorite is the Hot Stone Bowl! This place is definitely one of my top favorite restaurants EVER!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

I travel around the nation for work, I also experience a lot of restaurants in my travels. I would definitely put this restaurant in my top 5 of all time best restaurants ever. The food was so so fresh, and tasted great. The service was impeccable, the waitress was not rushing you to order or constantly nagging while you eat. The atmosphere was wonderful and the prices were not bad for the service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

First time visiting Little Katana and they have a customer for life, service was a pleasure, appetizers was very good (Shumai) and my sushi roll King Kong was excellent Vegetarian options: You can definitely request your roll to your taste and liking Parking: No problem parking AT ALL! Kid-friendliness: Saw quite a few families there with very young kids

Wonderful! The chef, Nicholas, is by far the reason I keep coming back. He sees what I like and makes great suggestions of new rolls to try. His sushi is always beautifully made. Top quality ingredients and he adds a special zing to make them even better. Im very picky about my restaurant service, as I worked in the industry for years. Excellent customer service from him and all the wait staff is kind and attentive. Well worth the price. Ask for Nicholas when you go in. Hell take care of you and by far makes the best sushi around!

This is a nice spot. It s not the fanciest or the most robust in terms of what they serve. They have a friendly waitstaff, decent fish quality, and the water is lemon infused. I haven t eaten at any other sushi spots in DFW, but this one works for eating alone on a work trip. Thanks Little Katana!

Ordered takeout for lunch. I had the spicy tuna roll. It was basically so brown in color I thought I had gotten the wrong roll. At first I thought maybe it was soy sauce or some darker sauce. Nope. Just BAD tuna. Will be avoiding this location. Fish was NOT fresh

Slow service. Understaffed. Food was good but everything felt like it was slow and hot stuff was cold cold stuff was warm. Still good fresh food. Waitress was nice but busy as she seemed to be by herself.
