It was ok, from the outside it s like any other Alamo. However upon entering it s a very tight/small reception. That was surprising. The seats don t recline and they look horribly maintained. They look something like you d find in an old old diner. I don t think we d go back.

Horrible experience. Movie started - 8:20. Food ordered - 8:30pm. We received part of our order at 9:45pm. Received the rest of our order at 10pm (it wasnt even correct). Check dropped at 10:10. Movie ended at 10:12. Sitting and waiting for my card... Finally got my debit card back at 10:26. Hannah the manager said sorry there was only 1 server in there for 58 people Just felt completely dismissed by her. We came for dinner and a movie and didnt get our appetizer until 12 minutes before the movie ended. I told her I had to leave the theatre 2 times to mention our food missing and she said whyd you leave the theatre 2 times?. I left the theatre the 2nd time because 25 minutes had gone past since my first exit. The manager Hannah patronized us for being upset and took zero accountability. Also we were absolutely still charged and told there was nothing they could do. I have never had an experience like this period and am beyond frustrated and disappointed. Sad to say that I have lost any good faith I have in this company due to the actions of at least two employees.

This was my fault since I didnt call ahead i guess. We went to beetlejuice hoping to get the popcorn bucket with the worm. Alamo draft house is the only place with it. This location did not have it. We drove from Fort Worth to get it. My wife ordered a margarita and she didnt like it. I was just going to drink but it was the worst drink Ive had in a while. They took it off the bill and i appreciate that. My wife just wanted that bucket and that dulled the whole night. First time Ive been to an Alamo draft house.

Parking is very inconvenient. Was told to park in the parking garage and the cist would be waived. Paid $55 and couldnt figure out how to validate when we left. Food was cold and tasted terrible. The bacon was soft and under cooked. You cant even see your food because its so dark, so after tasting it, I used my cell phone flashlight to look at my meal. After seeing what I was actually eating, I didnt touch the food

Theres free parking in the garage. You have to validate your parking via QR code in the cinema lobby. Wear semi comfortable shoes. Tons of other stuff to do around the theatre without leaving the garage. Great vibes. Same as the Alamo in Richardson.

Always always always love Alamo. I m so glad they came back quickly. We love the cult presentation of films, the fun facts and the viewer experience that they work hard to make. We have been for trivia and sometimes just choose to come grab a drink. The food has gotten saltier every time we go, but it really doesn t detract from the overall experience. I love going here and we ll keep coming.

Came to a private screening for friends and family since my cousin got a job here and we got tickets. We were 10 min late and they didn t let us in and watch the movie due to new no late policy which doesn t make sense, if we are late that is at our inconvenience when ppl inside the theatre have to get up and leave to use the restroom anyways so how is us coming in walking in late a distraction? we drove all the way to las colinas from Dallas to support the opening and for our cousin just for them to turn us away!! I SEE WHY THEY GOT SHUT DOWN the first time. Keep up the terrible policies and it ll get shut down again.

This place is great, its just not perfect. 5 stars is perfect and this venue is not. The movie experience is vivid and protected, but that is the minimum requirement for Alamo. The parking is garbage (and extra). Sharing the venue with the Toyota music stuff is a real issue IMO; the theatre feels like a sideshow. No complaints about food and beer, but Im not sure its as immaculate as five stars might suggest. So four it shall be.

The servers don t tell you but they stop serving after 11:30 pm. They don t take orders or read the orders when you write them down. Go to IPic theaters or GP for better theaters and service. No reclining seats; for a theater that is $15 a ticket, one would just assume the seats recline. You have to get there on time or they won t let you in (Lord forbid something uncontrollable, like traffic). Then on top of all that, I had my phone out to check a text from my son (to let me know he got home safely), with the screen light on the lowest setting, silenced and cradled in the nook of my elbow, and all of a sudden, an employee got in WAY too close to me to tell me I had to put my phone away and they had a zero phone policy. I felt like a little kid! It was invasive and awkward. I appreciate the no phone/no text when it causes an issue. I understand the threat that you will receive one warning and then get kicked out - with no refund - after that, if you cause any additional issues. What I don t understand is when you DO NOT cause issues and you are very discrete, and being very respectful of all others around you, being treated like a criminal. Really ruins the movie experience. Will not go there again.

When things did not go well for me as the customer, it was clear the manager was not interested in trying to make anything right or a compromise. The movie experience was great. The place is clean, but the dining service needs improvement. The server missed one order of my child, they said because they supposed it was repeated, because my children order 2 similar things, not the same. The missing order was served almost at the end of the movie with a to-go box. Poor service, very dismissive. Other cinemas with dining services have orders by scanning a QRcode, or the server takes directly your order so you get exactly what you ordered, not what they supposed you order or not and dismmising the order papers that we give him. At other cinemas, you have a way to call your server... here you have to wait or go yourself, and you need to write your order in a paper.

I love Alamo drafthouse and have exclusively been going there for years. They show the best movies and artisan films. There s movie parties with props. A vast menu with many options for all walks of life. The employees are sweet and attentive. Out of the 100 + times going there there s only been one time where I NEVER saw a server. There s cool movie merch to purchase. Only problem is sometimes their food isn t consistent and it s a bit expensive for the value. This location doesn t have recliners unfortunately but it s still clean and nice. You have to park on the street or the Toyota factory garage.

BE AWARE! Me and my friends (group of 5) decided to visit Alamo Drafthouse at Las Colinas and they did not let us in because were 10 minutes late to the showing although we decided to skip the trailers. They said their late policy is on the board and NO LATE POLICY EXISTED THAT MANDATES TO LOSE YOUR TICKET. There is no strict policy that will now allow us to enter. We were ONLY 10 minutes late and the management did not allow us to enter because we did not show up on the dot. EVERY MOVIE THEATER allows you to go in because you pay for your seating. It was a horrible experience how management handled it and only gave us a partial refund although we showed up and paid for the seating online. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.

The mens room smelled like there was a raw sewage backup. And the sound was sensory friendly and then it wasnt all of a sudden. I came out of the theater to complain and someone from another theater was already complaining about how uncomfortably loud the sound had gotten. Need to check for order cards more often, mine was up for 15-25 minutes the past 2 times I saw a movie and the card was in the right spot. I also saw someone else put theirs up for longer than mine and they took it down because no one was checking for our order cards. It was a nice Theater in a nice area of Las Colinas. Just wish they had reclining chairs like in Denton. They sent out the wrong food order. No one came by to check on me for more than 20 minutes. I left theatre to find an employee to correct my order and no employee was around, I spent more than 15 minutes wondering around looking for someone to tell. Once I did find someone, they noted they would take care of the meal for the time spent interrupting the film... after the film ended, the manager did not take care of the meal and I had to pay and they were not concerned at all with my movie watching experience.

I have visited this location frequently for 5 years, since it opened. I do love Alamo theaters but this location has gone downhill rapidly in the last year. This week I went to see Killers of the Flower Moon. The a/c in the lobby and bar has been out for weeks. Thankfully it works in the theaters. The server did not have their tablet to pre-swipe as usual. The food and drinks came out in a disjointed manner. At the end of the movie, everyone stayed in their seat looking around because no one got their credit cards back. After a few minutes I went out into the lobby and could only find the bartender who was very helpful and radioed the kitchen. After a total of about 10 minutes the cards came back out. This is not the first time we have had poor service or other issues at this location. As others have mentioned, the prices have gone up significantly. The food is not as good as it used to be and the kitchen is frequently out of ingredients for the menu items. The bar, which used to be my favorite in the neighborhood, is only open 2-3 days a week. Additionally, at this location you pay an extra 10% sales tax on movie tickets because it is in the Music Factory complex. Usually I don t mind, but for all the problems and such high cost, we are going to start doing movie nights at home. My experiences over the last year make me think the franchisee just doesn t care anymore. Digital home viewing options may be killing the movie theater but this lack of care will be the nail in the coffin.

Table with each seat and service through the film. Just write your order and place the paper upright in the slot. The attendant collects and returns with food and drink moments later. They come back around 20 minutes before the end to collect cards for payment, which are again taken away and returned. That part is pretty alarming for your average European, but the whole experience is amazing (provided the movie is decent), so lean into it

Been here tons of times and its quite fantastic! My most recent visit for the TMNT:Mutant Mayhem, was absolutely terrible, server didnt come to serve or take orders let alone get us water, until I said something about 30 minutes into the movie, employee was wearing bright blue jeans (idc much for dress code but I will say it was quite distracting), new employees were very not.. Discreet, one of them was also just standing in the corner either not knowing where to go, or was watching the movie. Cash transactions were messed up for everyone, the food was EXTRA mid and came out extremely fast, even after getting my order in, they still did not look at tickets to give refills, not to mention the prices have gone up, HARD.

Overall the movie theater itself is decent. The theater seemed somewhat clean and several good movie times for each film were available. However, it was hard to enjoy my movie because it took an hour and 15 minutes to get my order of popcorn (you can only order at your seat). I reminded them of my order 45 minutes into the movie and then at the hour mark I had to go let the guy out at the front desk know I still didnt have my order. If you try to park here during a concert day at Toyota Music Factory, Good luck! Parking is anywhere from $ 30-45 and theres usually a long line. Otherwise its free if there is not concert during that day.

Wow...extremely disappointed with the experience I just had here. First and last time I will ever go to this location, I usually love the Alamo (highly recommend the Richardson location) but this was unacceptable. Went to see Oppenheimer with my family and the service and experience was abysmal. Took at least 30 minutes to get just our waters, my mothers order was messed up and it took around a hour after everyone else got their food until my stepdad received his. Now I can be understanding if they were busy; mistakes happen and I get that. But the theatre couldnt have been at more than 20% occupancy. All of that, however, pales in comparison to the disruptive guests that were seated in our row. I have always felt that the main selling point of the Alamo was their commitment to ensuring that their are no disturbances during the movie. They literally have a PSA before the movie starts telling everyone not to talk, use your phone, or show up late. Lest you be ejected from the theatre without a refund. And in my experience they have usually taken it extremely seriously. Hell, they even had an angry voicemail from a customer who was subjected to those standards that they used in their PSA for the longest time. That is why I was so shocked when this group showed up 10-15 minutes after the start, IMMEDIATELY used their phones flashlights (yes, plural, the whole group of 5 used their phones) and were talking amongst themselves. You could actually see the reflection of their phones in the screen, that is how bright it was. I cannot fathom why it took halfway through the movie for a waitress to finally tell them to stop taking out their phones. I even raised an order card at one point to please ask them to keep quiet and nobody came by for about 20 minutes. Why didnt you go ask for a manager? that is because 1) they specifically have that order card system in place to avoid that and 2) would you want to leave during a pivotal plot point? Before you think I am being too hard or nitpicky let me just say that our usual experience has always been perfect, with great food, service, and theatre-going experience. I even used to work at the Richardson location so I am aware of how things are run and the standards they should be striving for. That is what made tonights experience all that more shocking and disappointing. I still love the Alamo and would recommend it to other people, but this was unacceptable.

It s a great and very clean location! Chairs are comfortable, everyone is super friendly The only thing bringing down the review is that bottomless popcorn and soda doesn t exactly mean that, as in I never got a refill in either even though I had a piece of paper up. 3 hour movie. It was good popcorn and the one soda was a perfect balance of ice and water

I left mid movie tonight after management stood at the end of my aisle staring me down. I came to the movie alone & texted to let someone know I was watching the film. The employee assumed I was not following the phone rule and was standing at the end of the row with their arms crossed. I d say the frequent servers passing by (not refilling drinks) and manager surveillance is the real disturbance. Horrible movie experience.

I still prefer going to Alamo for my movie watching experiences. There is nothing like an Alamo pre-show! However, the kitchen and bar are lacking. The server came back, twice, to let me know that they were out of something that I ordered (off of the menu). It was frustrating.

I wanted to love this theater, but my experience fell short of love. I liked it, which is still nice. The food is average and overpriced (which was expected). Its hard to eat in the restaurant when the movie is going -- its very hard to see your food. The food trays are a touch high and far from the seats. And, the seats dont recline -- theyre comfortable, just dont recline. Id go back, but will try some other theaters in the area first.

First of all, if an event is going on, the streets are blocked off. So allow time to detour your route. Second, parking sucks. Parking is blocked off, reserved for vip or Valet. Your parking is in the garage. However, before 6 p.m., no spaces are available. Third in the summer it is hot. When you finally arrive, get ready for stairs, or you can wait for the elevator. We arrived early but the bar was closed so we had to wait until the theater was ready. Now, order by writing down your order on a paper and place it in the front of your shared table and hope that the one person taking care of your theater sees it. Our waitress didnt come into the theater until just before the movie. Our food came before our drinks. Cup holder is furthest from you. You need to sit up to eat. The back of the chair reclines, but the legs do not go up. It is a little bit too cold in the theater so bring a light jacket. Exit garage and prepare to be detoured again. The other thing about this place is that when you walk out and want to do something else here at Toyota music factory unless the TX lottery plaza has music not much to do but eat, drink, or dessert and we just did that at Alamo Draft House. Plus, the service is bad right now. Most places here are short staffed.

Ive frequented this Alamo for a while and I want to give it a really accurate review. First, I love Alamos policies and how they make sure theaters are dark and loud, along with requiring phones to be off, and hard enforcing it. This all being said this Alamo location is beginning to show its age and has been struggling since the pandemic. The age of this theater is getting really bad. The bathrooms are getting kinda gross and run down. The seats are starting to tear, they also dont really recline well nor are they spaced well at all. Its a theater where most screens if someone tall is in front of your seat their head WILL be blocking your view. Staffing seems to be an issue at this location, they are always understaffed. The staff members who are there are absolutely excellent, but they just cant keep up with the needs usually. Food quality has also gone REALLY downhill. Orders come out wrong all the time, and the kitchen is very slow. This location is okay, with some minor renovation here and there it could be way better. Right now though it feels pretty old and lifeless, which is odd for an Alamo if youve been to others. Also important note for this location, check to make sure Toyota Music factory doesnt have a person preforming otherwise parking is not a fun time!

And when I expressed my concern the manager has zero management skills, kept arguing w me about excuses and interrupting me. Horrible horrible horrible experience. Went to see Mission Impossible 11am show today sunday and to find out they had NO tea at start of the day. Pretty discouraging. Waitress was not the best either. Could not order tea.....why couldnt you make any tea for your customers??? we ordered popcorn and never got it. Also, ordered a coke and it was $7.50, way too pricey!!!

I was looking forward to seeing a movie while having lunch. I ordered the same time as the person next to me and they got their food within 30 mins of ordering and I didnt get my food for an additional hour after that. The movie was just about and hour and a half long so I got my food when the movie was just about over. Could have been a better experience.

I attended the Barbie move today at 4:30 pm at the Las Colinas location and ordered the beyond meat burger. After one bite, I realized the burger was cold. I returned it to the server and told her my food was cold. She returned 5 minutes later with the same plate of food and said it is supposed to be cold. I have been served beyond meat burgers before at other locations and never been told it is supposed to be served cold. I was disappointed.
