Used to be my place to go for buffet when they were by Collin Creek Mall. Got excited that its closer to us than the Richland Hills location. Staff were friendly and quick on getting our orders out. Our sever tonight is Alani. Foods were make to order, came in small plates. I liked this new concept much more than the old ways. Would come back again.

The Salmon portion of the hibachi was very tasty but the vegetables., broccoli and zucchini, were overcooked and the fried rice was on the mushy side. Salad and soup were good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice except for the robot server that kept rolling by my table. The music it was playing was so loud and obnoxious. Need to turn the volume down on that little guy. It is a cool device but loud and distracting. I may come back. My son loves sushi so we will see what happens in the future.

Paid $33.99 for each adult (my husband and myself) and $6.99 for our daughter (price varies on age). Our server Jesus was attentive and informative when it came to the menu. He had suggested various items and they were all delicious. He even recommended us something that was not on the menu and it turned out to be scrumptious . The rolls are in smaller portions (about 4-6 pieces), which means youll be able to try more.I want to give a fair warning to those that eat sushi/nigiri though. The rice will fill you up much quicker than you expect. Other than getting full to quick, I highly recommend this place. 5/5 you will be seeing us again.

Flew into Dallas for a quick getaway from Atlanta. Upon getting into my Lyft, I mentioned sushi, and the drivers eyes lit up. He told me he lived 40+ minutes away, but he and his family would make the drive at least once a month to this location. The buffet style is similar to a Brazilian Steakhouse where they bring out up to 5 items (minus items in red on the menu for lunch) per round for unlimited rounds! The price, atmosphere, services, and food...10/10, highly recommend.

Me along with my husband visited this eatery for a late Sunday lunch. Its a all day dinner in weekends here, which means dinner menu will be available throughout the day on Saturday n Sunday. Its a all you can eat buffet restaurant but the food is brought to your table & made fresh as per order at $33.99 per person. The decor and lighting is a typical japanese style, very soothing to the eye with beautiful wooden structures all over. The service is awesome here. May be the best thing about this place. The empty plates are continuously removed, drinks refilled without even asking & definitely great recommendations. Coming to the food you have a huge option and also if you are a first timer and skeptical about trying raw fish/meat. The cooked food section is huge. The food was indeed delectable. Loved the rolls, had so many of them that we lost count. The only raw option we tried was Yellowtail Jalapeno which was delicious. We were so full by the time we reach at the middle of the menu, couldnt try so many. May be there is always a next time.

The worst thing is meeting a server. Ariana. Even if our eyes meet, she just walks away without taking the order. Even when calculating, she would throw the receipt. Very customer-oriented place! This is one of my HAPPY places. If you love unlimited sashimi, this is the place to be. We held most of our family birthday celebrations here. Whenever we have family and friends visiting, we always bring them to this place. The manager, Ming, is very friendly, yet professional in his dealings with us. They are also able to host big birthday parties here. Last time, we had around 90 guests and they were all satisfied and happy.

I have to say i have been to the other one in NRH and this Japan house was actually way better! I LOVE the controlled portion sizes, they don t give you full portion sizes so you can order multiple things and more variety without getting too full. Buffet style, food was okay, went for lunch. The chicken gyoza was really good but the sushi was alright versus a lot of other places Ive been. I think its a good place to get your Japanese fix in for less but not super fresh or high quality but those places youll pay more obviously. Service was awesome and atmosphere is great, spacious, etc. Our server was Logan and he was tentative and informative, super nice too. Id recommend going for a quick Japanese buffet fix for around $25. For more premium experiences and fresher food, Id recommend other Japanese restaurants.

Always a great place for enjoying many small plates. My server Ian was super fast and helpful. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. It s all you can eat and the server brings you out your selections. We thought about leaving before we ordered, but stayed anyway. I prefer to fix my own plate at an all you can eat and this was the reason I considered leaving. Sushi:If you love to eat a lot of sushi this is the place for me. Tons of sushi options. Ramen: pork and chicken option available, The broth was good, but the quality of the noodles was store package quality. I would not recommend. Hot appetizers: Several of the hot apps were delicious; stuffed jalapeño, fried oysters, stuffed avocado, short ribs, and the tempura shrimp. It s was $33 per person and $7 for my 5 year old son. I would return to eat here again.

My daughter and son-in-law took me here for dinner and it was absolutely amazing! You can try everything on the menu as long as youre not wasteful. They bring out small portions so that you can try things. The food came out very quickly and still very hot and fresh. The wait staff was very quick and on top of everything and very nice. You had better come with a good appetite. It was a little expensive but very worth the experience and the delicious food! I highly recommend it! The calamari was so fresh and delicious. I dont think I have ever had calamari this good. I tried the tempura tofu and it was disgusting and the fried oysters were disgusting, but everything else was truly amazing. The atmosphere was nice with the decorations that make you feel youre somewhere else. I would definitely come again. The only recommendation for management would be to tidy up that mens restroom because it needed help. Overall a good experience

I told them that I had a gluten allergy and they brought me fish that was made of gluten covered in a gluten filled sauce. Waiter didn t seem to know what a gluten allergy was. No markings on menu to show what contains allergens. Had an allergic reaction at the table

First time at this restaurant and I gotta say. It was pretty good. They are a all you can eat restaurant. They also have daily specialty items. You do want to get there early, because half way into dinner. They ran out some of the special items. We got a server name Julie. She was great!! She was super nice and professional.. it is super hard to find good staff. Hope shell be there next time we visit. I gave the food 4 star due to the fact, some of the item ran out and some food were a bit over cooked. I would give the experience my family had here a 8/10.. highly recommend.

Came here on a Tuesday evening. I m not from DFW and wanted some sushi but the quality was bad and the service was confusing. The table next to us got their food super fast while my boyfriend and I were waiting for a hot minute. Same with our miso soup, we waited for 40 minutes to get some until we overheard the waiter tell the table next to us that they were out Stay away from the salmon, the pieces were coming out smaller and smaller and fishier. Spent $85 for two people for the quality to be as good as a Chinese buffet. I usually can thug it out and eat all of my food but they put wayyy too much sauce on things to the point to where you cant even tell what youre eating. Same with the edemame, its just edemame with sriracha Not the best

If you like a variety of fresh and great tasting seafood, then I can recommend Japan House. We had the buffet that is really table service of five dishes you select from the menu. You can order another five and repeat until youre full. Just dont over order, or youll be asked to pay extra for any dish you cant finish. A robot delivers your first round of food, which is fun. The wait staff is very friendly. Our server, Julie, was very sweet and efficient. We fully enjoyed the experience. My favorite was the shrimp dumpling appetizer called Fried Shumai.

We went to eat there on Valentines Day. We were seated and received one menu. I went to the restroom and when I got back, my husband was still waiting for someone to bring water like the table that arrived after us with people missing from her party. We waited and waited and were not provided any service so we got up and left while the two women at the hostess counter were chatting among themselves. Weve been frequent visitors of this establishment but these last two were the worse. The system has changed regarding how they service guests. It used to be bustling with servers asking any guest if they needed to order more food and logged in into their pad. Now, it appears like servers are assigned to specific tables and have the attitude that if the guests are not sitting in my area, its not my concern. We have not been back since.

We had a party of about 13 people and the put us in a large room for a little bit of privacy. Its all-you-can-eat, so we tried several appetizers, rolls, salads, Miso soup, and some entrees. First off, place was mostly empty so why was i seated right by the restrooms? things went downhill. Had to wait 10 mins between rounds and orders kept getting mixed up. So the third time, I asked the server to repeat my order and it still came out wrong. The fish dishes was what you get for a buffet. that fish salad however was pretty bad, I had to force myself to finish it otherwise I might get charged. the dressing was tasteless and the fish had an unpleasant texture esp the white fish. The hot appetizer items were mostly good and that sorta saved the day esp the korean ribs. Tried to place an order for it four times but only got two. But two is still good. very tasty

A large Japanese themed menu in bite-sized increments. Once you get started, it flows. It might seem strange at first but order several things and they will continue to come. Amazing Place! We were seated as soon as we entered, and the sushi was sushing I recommend the salmon sashimi and the crazy salmon roll. Both are amazing! Its $34 per adult for the all-you-can-eat. Trust me, you get your moneys worth. come after 4:30 so you get access to all the dinner. Anyways... our server was SO nice and friendly. He waited patiently when someone was thinking of what to get. Thumbs up for him! P.S. Get the ice cream at the end. Strawberry is good. This Japanese restaurant offers a fantastic selection of small plates, which was perfect for me because I love trying a little bit of everything. Good sushi from specialty rolls to normal rolls like salmon roll or shrimp tempura roll. You can also get sushi nigiri here. Their non sushi items are also great like the karaage or ribs. I ve heard the ramen is great too but I didn t try it this time. Most all you can eat sushi places get a bad reputation. But the sushi and other food here was really good! I prefer the normal rolls over specialty rolls but I recommend trying a few of each. I ll definitely be back!

Multiple rolls my group ordered were missing key ingredients (jalapeño on Vegas roll, crunchy topping on crunch roll, etc). Soup was never brought out even though it was ordered. We went during early lunchtime, and it was not too busy. For the price, this was disappointing. Our waiter was super kind though, and the options on the menu looked great! We just wished we had gotten to try them as they were described on the menu.
