Food here was quick and pretty good. Got the daily bento special which was a sampler plate. It had teriyaki chicken and salmon, shrimp tempura, white rice, and your choice of chef choice roll or Cali roll (I got the chef choice roll). The teriyaki salmon was super tender and loved the flavor. Ive never been a tempura fan, like Ill eat it if its there but dont generally order it, this one was typical shrimp tempura, not much to say about it. The chicken teriyaki wasnt for me, it was a bit tough. The chefs choice roll had raw salmon and some other things, I loved it Would come again just for the salmon teriyaki. AND they have Mexican cokes, win in my book.

We had a great first time experience at Maki Boy! The food was excellent we ordered the miso ramen, pork bulgogi, and chicken teriyaki bento, and everything was full of flavor. The portions were generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied. Prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food. It s a cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot with good service, and I d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty, affordable meal. We ll be back!

First time visiting this restaurant. Fast and friendly service. I ordered the combination fried rice (chicken and shrimp). I also ordered the caterpillar roll. Food was great. I will be back.

Wonderful place to eat. The food is very fresh tasting and delicious. I have been here twice, now, once for takeout and once for in restaurant dining. Both times the food was delicious. If you are looking for a new spot to try some sushi, bento box, ramen, or noodle dishes, I dont think you will be disappointed. It is all very reasonably priced vs the portions you get as well. I definitely think I will be returning at some point to try more things on the menu. Ultimately, great food.

Amazing sushi. Sizeable chunks of fresh fish. You might skip the soy sauce and wasabi because the sushi is so flavorful. Its hard to find a spot but the lady who runs things is very attentive. The Korean side bowls are a unique touch.

Tasty food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Not much more you can ask for. This being so close to my work, I feel as If I will be visiting this place a lot. The selection of food is quite expansive, so there are plenty of options for you to choose from.

Cute little restaurant. I ordered for pick up and was greeted by this kind lady. She gave me a small Tupperware for sides to take to go including ginger, cucumbers, and some amazing broccoli. I ordered the tuna tower and California roll. Both were amazing for the price. I will definitely be back.

Large selection of food and very tasty. One lady is doing most of the work and does it well although she could probably use some help. Rings people up, stocks snacking buffet, delivers food to table etc. my only complaint is that it s a very tight space with not many places to sit and the tables don t get wiped down in between patrons.

Want good Japanese and Korean food near Coppell? Do you like getting a good deal? Do you enjoy friendly service? This is where you need to go! Food is great and the staff is very accommodating. You may need to wait a bit to get a free table during lunch time. Or, be sociable and sit with strangers. I have been trying to get the owner to open during dinner time. Hope they will soon.

Amazing food and very friendly staff! I would recommend trying some of the rolls with a main entree! I got the 10 piece sushi and chicken teriyaki! Both were great! My favorite was the eel sushi! Will definitely go back, cant wait to try more of the menu!

The food is good, served hot and fresh. Staff was okay, kinda hurried me up to order, which was uncomfortable. The atmosphere is more like a taqueria than an Asian restaurant, unlike their sister store further south in Irving, which really transports you to Japan, so to speak. Not a bad place to eat. Not my first or second choice either.

Fantastic food, this location has shorter hours but it is well worth stopping at for lunch. I get the beef bulgogi and it is off the chain good. They also give you a little container for sides like pickled vegetables, kimchi, broccoli or other various sides that are all equally delicious. Great portion size for the price and everything is always hot and fresh. 10/10

When I found this place, I just thought Im not going to write a review since I dont want too many people coming to this place since this is a hidden treasure to me. But, this is more than 5 star restaurant!! Food taste is great and price is awesome! They have many choices of rolls and sushi, but also they have pretty good Korean food! One example of food. The picture is daily bento special. 5 rolls, grilled salmon, chicken teriyaki, fried shrimp, rice, multiple salads from salad bar(you can get as many as you want) and medium soda. All for less than 10 dollars. I hope their business would be successful! Great place!

Satisfied my taste bud and my wallet. I have been going to the original store for years. Never got a chance to visit the new location. This location only opened in lunch hours during the weekdays. We missed it couple times because forget its odd hour for us. We went there for a quick bite and turned out it is great decision. Great selection, big portion and great taste. Will plan to go next time soon.

Very good prices on sushi and teriyaki chicken. Great little restaurant. My favorite is the Chicken teriyaki bowl on rice ($4.50 at lunch) and a $5 roll. They even made a roll that they didnt have for me. Great service as the person walked me through the menu after asking if it was my first time.

This location is more spacious than the other location in Irving. The food is still AMAZING! My favorite dish is the Eel Donburi. Its grill cooked eel in a delicious mouth watering sauce cooked to a crunch edge but still breaks in your mouth per bite. Served on top a bed of seasoned white rice. May I recommend mixing a small amount of Wasabi. With sides included in the big bowl. Crab meat, panko(Japanese bread crumbs) tobiko caviar(fish eggs) avacado (a nice healthy amount) sprinkled with flakes of nori(seaweed). This is my favorite dish for a reason! For $13 no restaurant can ever beat it! I cannot express how much more I love this restaurant and now theres TWO!!!?? Choose this spot. You cant regret it.
