Service was incredibly slow. Food was pretty marginal. The worst part, we got charged a large party fee. We had 4 adults and 1 kid. Not sure how that is a large party. Poor experience. Do not recommend this place.

Cannot hear people at your table speak, other people at their tables motioning to their fellow diners that they Cannot hear them, heard food was good but could not leave fast enough, nice decor means nothing if the original design of the building is better suited for a storage unit. Waitress brought our water, took a sip, realized the Waitress could not understand any of us and left .

Mexican martini was amazing. Do top shelf. Frozen margaritas were strong. The mango Rita was really good as well with Tamarindo straw. Great service and ambiance. Try the fish tacos and the aïoli has no dairy. Delicious!

Love this restaurant!!!! I definitely love the Mexican Martini, the margaritas and the steak with shrimp is the best!! The waiters are very friendly and attentive, the music is incredible and when there is live music it is also great!!! A very nice, spacious and modern place!!! I recommend it 10000% we celebrated my grandmothers birthday and she lived up to it

30 minute wait. Two other parties who walked in after we did, of the same size as ours, were seated before we were. Food was average (could have gone to Rio Grande or Julios for the same). Service was really good, but -- and Im a METAL DRUMMER -- this place was LOUD. Our party had to yell to hear each other talk. Im all for loud at a night club or a music venue, but Im there to eat and talk with my family. Not really my jam.

This place might just take the spot for best Tex/Mex in Hutto. Its seems more upscale than the others. Enjoy the atmosphere and live music. Great vibe! It gets busy in there but rightfully so. I went twice before writing this review..Ill edit as necessary. My test meal for most places is the carne guisada, you mess that up I probably wont go back. This one delivered. Large portion. They up charge for home made corn tortillas but flour always good with carne guisada. Oh and rice, dont mess up the rice! Owners have multiple restaurants in surrounding area, can see they nailed it with this place. Had to try their michelada, also good here. Came in with family, was a wait inside but got seated quickly outside, soon more tables were taken up. Even sitting outside, never felt forgotten out there. Thats a plus on service! Having that green area in the back is good for kids who want to run around while parents finish their meal or drink. Will be back.

Finally hutto has a good Mexican food restaurant! The salsas are good, the sauces are flavorful and the drinks are tasty too. Our server was very nice and honestly I have no complaints. I recommend the trio enchiladas plate and Mexican martinis.

Restaurant is very clean and inviting. Food is amazing! The warm salsa had fire roasted taste which we enjoyed. I had Birria tacos and my mom had stuffed avocado. Jasmine was our server. She was absolutely wonderful not only did she know all about the menu and the drinks she recommended the birria taco dinner, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This was our first time at Jalisco and we will definitely be back. Appetizers and desserts will be next on our list to try.

My Hubs and I went to dinner to check this place out. We Loved the food, we had the guacamole made at your table, it was so fresh and delicious. My husband had the shrimp ceviche, it was great! I had the 4 tacitos with 2 pastor and 2 carnitas. There was spice to the pastor which normally its not supposed to be that spicy. Over all we had a great time and the food was great. Highly recommend giving Café Jalisco a try! Service was slow but it was busy.

Food: No for me. It s very over priced. I ordered carne guisada and it tasted microwaved and over cooked. Asked for black beans and was given flavor less refried beans and dry Spanish rice. Food was plated very nicely but it didn t taste as good as it looked. It doesn t feel like they are doing a lot of cooking back there, just a lot of heating things up. Service: 2 stars only because our server was super nice. She offered to take my entree off the bill but I insisted she didn t. First impression when we walked in was that we were interrupting Mariana s chit chat. We asked for a booth and she tried to insist on a table. Reiterating we wanted a booth and she rolled her eyes and gave us attitude and walked away. Clearly it bothered her. Atmosphere: Ok. Decor was upscale but service and food was as the name suggested-sports bar & grill. Definitely wasn t worth the cost and all things considered, we won t be returning.

The food is not very tasty , it seems salty and the agua de horchata has this after taste like they added too much vanilla and too sweet, I ordered the camarones a la diabla and I m usually good with spicy food but I felt like in my plate they added two whole cans of chipotle it was too spicy I couldn t finish my food, the restaurant is beautiful but the lighting is too bright I feel like I m walking in to a furniture store, maybe some scones to warm up the feel in there would help and a spot light on the Karaoke area? Yes I ll go back because is close to my house but I hope the food quality gets better.

First time trying, we had Jasmine as our waitress and she was on point and always ready to help us when we needed something. We had read both positive and negative reviews but trust me, the place is on point!!! Food was hot, fresh, and tasted amazing!! Had a wonderful time here with great service. I forgot something of great value to me at the table and the staff gave it to management to hold upon my return. Great service, food, and truly professional staff make this place worth visiting again. The historical icon pictures of Cantinflas, Pedro Infante, and Frida Kahlo also give this place a great vibe and energy I ve never seen before. Recomiendo este lugar a quien sea! Highly recommend you stop by if you like great variety in food and unique atmosphere. Don t forget the yard and water in the back.

My husband and I ate here for our first time this evening. Even though the restaurant was not crowded, our only seating option given by the hostess was a tall table. We were walked past numerous empty tables and seated in the very back corner by the back door. The door definitely needs to be adjusted as it was noisy and disruptive to our conversation. The menu has many options, but I was sad to see they do not offer any combination plates. Our waitress was nice, friendly and attentive. However, she only gave me one menu item recommendation. We ordered an appetizer of stuffed jalapeños, which is our favorite at other restaurants. They weren t what we expected as there was no cheese inside and they were wrapped in bacon. They tasted okay minus the dipping sauce. My husband ordered Pollo Polano and taco salad with fajita chicken was my choice. My salad was good and I thought the guacamole on it was yummy! However, the salad was too small as I ve had bigger ones from fast food restaurants. My husband was not impressed with his dish as he said the chicken was overcooked, dry and unseasoned. We ordered Tres Leches cake for dessert. It was good, but we ve had better. I was hoping to love this place, but we didn t. I highly doubt we ll ever return.

EDIT: What a turnaround! Everything about today s experience was very good. We sat in the bar and were immediately greeted by Waitstaff with menus and water. We ordered guacamole and Laura s as an appetizer and it was served fairly fast. After leisurely eating our Aztec plate was delivered and it was just as good. Definitely will be back and encourage others to stop by for some great food in a beautiful restaurant. On Sundays there is a live band. Looking forward to giving this restaurant another chance to impress. Went a couple weeks ago and were dissatisfied with the experience. Guacamole made tableside is always good but the chips were dark and thick. There were no salt and pepper shakers at the table either. The waitress did not know where to find any. The Aztec Plate is wonderful and looks fancy. On the wooden platter. The roasted green chili was a nice touch. Can t go wrong with grilled skirt steak. The chicken enchiladas with green chili sauce was inedible as was the beans and rice. No flavor just mush. Fortunately the roasted green chili from my plate was chopped up and used as flavorings for the enchiladas. Didn t get any tortillas. Forgetful waitress. There were no bar menus to order drinks. I asked for a margarita and was given a Hurricane. I make it a point to not complain to the staff. I just don t go back. Maybe I ll try again.

Wow. I was surprised at how bad the food was. I thought being a new restaurant that the food would be good. The chips that we got tasted like they were dumped out of a bag and were stale. The food took so long to get to us that I drank 4 sweet teas and two waters. The sweet tea was looooaaaded with sugar. I felt sick. The food was just like egh. A gas station hot dog would have been better. My wife said her food was decent but too much lemon. We ordered my son the chicken tender meal. You could tell that the grease had not been changed in a while because they were dark. Bright, not a light, golden brown and chrisp looking. If this restaurant continues to way it is... It will only last about a year. By far the worst Mexican place we have ever eaten at. Out bill came out to 56.00. I did give a ten dollar tip two our waitress. She was young but did her best. Mas FAJITAS should take it over. Tex mex in town is way better. This place really let me down. The 5 mile drive to Mas FAJITAS is worth it. This place is so bad if they gave us a free meal we would decline it. I got home and sprinted to the toilet. Barely made it. I was sick to my stomach. My recommendation Would be if you had to choose any place to take your wife, Girlfriend or family, this would not be a good place. Taking any of them here would almost look like you really didnt care about them.

I found this location that serves an AWESOME Bistec Ranchero that a Taylor restaurant took off the menu, and its in Hutto. The queso with flour tortilla chips were great. They bring you chips and 2 salsas, one which is warm, awesome. My wife gets the enchiladas and taco plate. Ive tested her food, and I like the enchilada sauce. Decor is nice. Bar is nice. Weve tried the Tres Leces cake and churros, different visits, and the one complaint I have is the Tres Leces cake. There is nothing special about it. Tastes ok, looks like the cheapest store bought cake. They need to find another distributor or make it themselves. If they make, get a new recipe. The Carmel filled churros were good. It has 2 dipping success and a small scoop of ice cream. Overall, I like Casa Jalesco.

Went with my family today. We were sat at a table super fast and the band started to play music. About 5 mins later another family was sat by us and was greeted and got drinks. We sat for 30 mins with no one ever coming to greet us, nor take our order, or bring us drinks water... Nothing.... Absolutely nothing..... So we got up quietly and when we were leaving were told thank and come back again.... Lmao place is joke.. The restaurant is lovely with its artwork and seating and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I guess Im judging the book by its cover though, the food was meh for what I expected. I ordered the Fiesta Bowl with carnitas and honestly Chipotle does a much better job. The pork was extremely dry and the beans seemed like they were straight out of the can. There was a tiny dab of guacamole but no other dressing offered. For $16, Id much rather stick to Chipotle. Perhaps their other dishes are better. Not sure Ill be back.

I have approached CJSB&G from a bar-first, food later perspective and, after dining in the main room tonight, I should have taken a clue from my 20-minute wait for a $30 shot bar experience. I understand being a new Sports Bar & Grill, but there is a science to training servers, bar staff, and FoH team that is ESSENTIAL to success; and it is not being followed here. Our server didnt know how to operate her point of sale system. She didnt know the menu, options, or any details of the bar options and had to visit our table 4 times to get the drink orders in. That is a training issue, not anything else personal. Food-wise, the dishes felt mostly white-labeled or pre-frozen & fried. It was as if the sides came off the wholesalers truck, was warmed up, and were put on our plates as $5 ground beef taco, Spanish rice, and refried beans. If I rated food with my eyes, yall would get 5 stars, but I made the mistake of putting it in my mouth and removed all of my false expectations.. Also, please match the dish with the menu description. If a coconut margarita is really mescal & jalapeno on the rocks, please hint at that before it gets to the table. Come weave yourself around the dining area to get to the bar for the cheap Mexican martinis & warm chips and salsa during happy hour. Go somewhere else to eat. P.S. We are frequent guest at The sister restaurant Taquilla Bar and Grill in Round Rock where frozen margaritas are the best in Central Tx. We were hoping the recipe would be the same, not a chance, totally different and not at all very good. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a great wait staff and the food was excellent. But if I m going out a couple times a week for Mexican food, you ve got to have a good Margarita like at TB&G.

Only open for 1 month the time of my visit. Everything was great! My video doesnt do this drink justice it was very pretty with edible glitter & rose shaped ice. Food was delicious I had the quesabirria tacos, and you must try the churros!

Amazing food, amazing service, I ve been here twice, both times fantastic. The first time I got a chicken quesadilla, the second time the birria tacos. Both were incredible. The rice is good, I m not a beans person but the beans were good too. I had the same server twice, Luz, and she was so friendly and so quick with everything, fantastic service!

Their food is so good. The wait is a little long, but I dont mind since the food makes up for it. The drinks are strong, so watch out for that. The staff is great. Ive eaten here 4 times and have not been disappointed. The restaurant has nice tables and shares.

Service + atmosphere.. 5 stars!! Food was ok.. I had high hopes, but was let down.. maybe will try again since football season is about to start and we like to eat and watch sports and have a good time.. Initially wanted to try the ceviche de Cameron, but it wasnt available .. so I opted for the shrimp tacos and a Mexican martini to wash it all down.. the lemon dressing didnt go with the shrimp tacos.. idk, it was just weird to me.. and the Mexican martini was missing something.. both just werent good..

This is your traditional Tex-Mex restaurant. Food was good the service was great and the restaurant has a cool feel to it. The hot and cold salsa was cool and the homemade lemonade was good but sure wasnt $3.59 with no refills good.

Tried Jaliscos for the first time tonight and wow, it was really good. Our waiter Edmund was great!! He suggested several different options. Made it hard to decide. I went in wanting enchiladas but ended up ordering something new. Forgot the name but it was good. The restaurant is clean. Its big. It has several tvs. When my son in law and daughter arrived to get our table they were told by the hostess it would be about 20 to 30 min wait. There were several open tables so they were confused. But Edmund walked up and said to put them in his section because he had no customers. maybe she wasnt the actual host and didnt know how the setting worked. But again Edmund was great and very helpful with everything. The only negative thing I have to write is about their mixed cocktails. I ordered a mango Mojito and it was not good at all. It was strong and tasted like they filled half the glass with sweet and sour. I had to send it back. So I ordered a Bahama Mama. Those are usually red/pink. Mine was orange. I tasted it and wow it was strong. I mean strong. They didnt add the coconut rum or any grenadine. I asked for some grenadine which Edmund gladly brought me some over. Once I added that the drink was much better. The food is great. The service was great. The cocktails need work. I definitely recommend and I will definitely go back. Parking: Definitely not a lot of parking for all the businesses in the Coop

I was super excited about the opening and hopeful it would be amazing, but I was wrong. Our waitress was sweet, but she could barely speak English. Luckily, I could speak Spanish, or we would have had difficulty ordering. Initially, she didnt know I could understand/speak Spanish, so she walked off and waited for someone to help her with us, so I had to waive her back over. The food was okay. The drinks were alright, but drinks are drinks.

We made a mistake and went on May 5th (Cinco de Mayo). The menu was limited that day. I m a pescatarian (no meat but eat cheese and fish) and they didn t have the fish dishes on the limited menu. Roberto (our waiter) said they can t make any exceptions. I ended up ordering the cheese enchiladas. Seemed like a block of cheese was cooked inside a tortilla. Meaning, it was definitely full of cheese. At least the view was nice from the outside patio eating area. The farmers market was also going on. I would suggest fly repellent machines and mist fans on the outside patio though. We kept fighting flies and got too hot. I ll go back for the fish dish that they offer and may upgrade the review to 5 stars-hopefully.

The service was exceptional. All severs were on point. The atmosphere is amazing, the bar, the music, the art in the wall was all a unique, and wonderful experience. For all the hype that they have about Mexico they fall short on serving quality food. We ordered the fajitas and the chicken tasted like it was pre heated from the day before. It is an excellent place for drinks and to watch sports. Unfortunately, the food is not to par with the rest of the restaurant.

So first off this is just a review for our first experience and hopefully will be used by management to make things better. Hostess with the glasses needs quite a bit more training. She didnt give us utensils& napkin wrap with our menus. Also didnt give us a drink menu and when we asked said shed be right back but never saw her again.... manager let two servers in same section go on break same time. Took 10 minutes for a server to come to us. Ours was very nice and sweet, got us our drink menu and was checking on us frequently and was very understanding when our toddler had a melt down. Second major issue there needs to be quicker turnaround for drinks from bartender. We ordered 2 margs, 1 martini and 1 XX. None of which came with limes or salt (omitting martini from this since). Took way too long to get drinks. Queso nothing to write home about and needs more chips to go with it. The salsa was just ok. Well try again in a few weeks but major kinks to be worked out

We were so excited to try this place out, but very disappointed. We had 12 in our group, they tried to put us in a 6 person booth, we also had 2 high chairs. Finally, they put some tables together for us and we were seated. There s 3 people at the host stand seating people. Many employees standing around talking. Half of the party ordered drinks from the bar which took about 20 minutes to receive. I ordered orange juice for my child and was charged for it, juice doesn t count as a drink on the kid s meals, only soda. Ridiculous. Our food was cold. We had to stack up our own plates in the middle of the table because nobody would come and take them from us. There s no changing table in the women or men s restroom. Very disappointing for Hutto.

Terrible service. I understand it s a new establishment, but there is still some responsibility on ownership in assuring staff is properly trained. We were greeted, and gave our drink order. The waitress didn t even know the drink I ordered existed after explaining where on the menu the drink was she wrote it down, waked away and never came back. We waited for about 20 minutes never got our drinks, never saw the server again. I had a small child that was getting fussy during the excessive wait so we decided to just get up and leave. We really wanted to like it being a resident in hutto, we need more places the chips and salsa were actually decent. But we won t be back!

Only open a week so there were minor glitches. To be expected this soon. The place is massive. Outdoor on the patio was glorious since the weather was so nice. The queso flameado was unlike any I ever had. Actually quite nice with lots of onion and green pepper. Our dinners were also tasty. Expect a wait to get in and parking may be tricky.

The food was great! Loved the decor and my server was very sweet. Hands down worth a try! That being said...This place JUST opened. Having worked in the industry I know the struggles the first few weeks/months can bring . Its obvious a lot of people dont realize when something is brand new it takes time to create a perfect flow between staff. Everyone checked on us the best they could , there was about 30 people at the bar and one bartender . I was not expecting her to not get overwhelmed, It was my servers first day. I wasnt expecting him to have the computer system and menu memorized to perfection. If you care about the food , drinks and trust the servers are doing their best youll love it!

Given that they just opened less than a week ago, they are doing an amazing job. The good was remarkable. We had the steak and enchilada plate, the Aztec plate, and beef enchiladas. All delicious. Service was timely being that they are short staffed due to just opening but they were all so friendly. We sat at the full service bar. Excellent establishment and we will return again. And again.

We were excited for this to open, but unfortunately we were not very impressed with our visit. They were out of the fish AND the shrimp that I tried to order, and then there were several issues with our order they served us the wrong meat for our fajitas (ordered combo and they only brought chicken), they served an alcoholic drink when we ordered non-alcoholic, they brought sweet tea when we had ordered coke, and they did not split the check how we had asked. The food was decent, but unfortunately not remarkable enough that we plan to go again due to the service we received. Restaurant itself was clean, which we appreciated.

I was quite excited to try this place out and had high hopes, though I kept in mind that it was their first day open. Staff was friendly and my group of 3 was seated in under 30 minutes. First we got the included Chips and Salsa; the chips were fine but the salsa was watery with little kick at all. We ordered the Chile Con Queso as our appetizer; it came out cold. The Queso was ok but nothing to rave about. The flour tortillas that came with the Queso were limited (ordered small but had much of the Queso left over with the handful of chips gone) and the chips were a bit over cooked. I ordered beef enchiladas with the chile con Queso on top. The beef was similar to Taco Casa which is just down the road but the corn tortilla was nice. The Mexican rice and beans were nothing special either. Overall, the food was just ok and there are better options in Hutto. If the food were half the price my rating may change.
