I have paid for Geek protection and service. Twice, now, in attempting to get help with my iPhone-- which I purchased through Best Buy--I have had serious problems with getting assistance. I was (1) lied to about how the repair service worked and (2) had an appointment cancelled at the last minute (had been set-up for over a week) by email (!) stating that they just found out they would not have the part. Now, I will NOT be able to use the Protection benefit and must take my phone to the Apple Store and pay for the service I had been assured would be covered by the Best Buy plan. If Best Buy cannot support the products they sell (and say they are able to support) they should stop pretending they can. Geek service only really works (barely) for phone support - and is still problematic.

I came in after having major issues with the delivery of an appliance (not by the fault of the in store employees) both managers and nick went above and beyond to correct the issues and put me at ease. They were very honest and personable and handled things beyond my expectations. I also had a pleasant experience making my original purchase with nick. I recommend their customer service if you have any issues.

Best buy sent a technician person to my house to install a device. The technician called me at 7:55am said he cant install the device, doesnt know how. So they rescheduled it fir today, 8-10-24@3pm. Crew got to my home and said they cannot install my tablo 4th Gen. Second time they gave fooked me around. Ill never go back to best buy again

A week ago I stopped at the store by the north east mall in Bedford Euless to visit Geek squad to repair my computer and this girl that works in geek squad, I can t remember her name but I told her the issue I was having with my computer and I told her I loved my computer very much and I didn t want to give up on it, well she didn t want to help me out, she said she couldn t help me , so I went to the other Best Buy store in Burleson and explained to the geek squad up their about my issue and they were able to assist me, I was very pleased with their work and if I can give them 20 stars I would, I would recommend going to this store instead.

We were at this location the last week of August 2024. This crew seriously has zero problem-solving skills, zero customer service skills and zero self-awareness. The front crew were just huddled in groups chatting it up with each other even though there customers looking confused and probably waiting for someone to assist. Seriously, I dont know why we even bother going here for electronics when we could easily just shop on Amazon. How does this location have too many people and not enough help? If this location represents Best Buy, they will not last much longer.

I came to this store in efforts of purchasing a sound system. Waited in the store over 15 minutes with no help. Walked in, wasn t greeted by the guy in the front distracted by his electronic. Two associates in customer service were helping another gentlemen , finally acknowledged me after 5. Finally grabbed a lady checking out guests at the counter and asked if they carried a product. She mentioned they should and she would have someone meet me in the area. No one ever came . As I m walking out I mentioned to another gentleman how today was not a good experience as he was too on his electronic device , and he replied sorry about that mam . I responded that I received no help at all and he just looked back down. Smh

The employees here don t acknowledge you in the store. All you get is a welcome in and that s it. You re on your own. Walking through aisles I asked an associate where they have certain items and they ignore you. At checkout, the girl was too busy to check her phone and walked away. The next associate that came to checkout I had to repeat my number 5 times and he didn t find my account. Took forever. Also to pick up an item the app has a QR code to scan. Tell me why he was ringing it up as a transaction! Best Buy, train your staff!

Im giving BestBuy a 1 star rating because today on my birthday i went to buy a sound bar (jbl 2.0 sound bar) open box after purchasing the sound bar i when install it at my house when i did the sound bar didnt want to turn on so i try everything using a different power cable it still didnt want to turn on so i went back to the store to return it and they didnt have another one open box and i was like okay if i get a new one can i get a discount on the new one they said no only if it was a open box so they show me a open box sound bar they had and theres one i like it was a Samsung the q650ish it had the price of 190ish and i ask if theres someone or them if they can give me a discount at least for the error they got of selling a non working sound bar and the drive back because someone didnt do there job to check if the device actually work and when they talk to the manager and check in the computer they said the lowest they can go is 189 barely any discount like that what got me mad and i been buying a lot from best buy and never had any problems intel today like that was disrespectful like how you going sell a non working sound bar and then when you ask nicely for a good discount to where i can actually buy the other sound bar but no the could lower the price 10ish less thats just not it

I had ordered online. When I got to the store the rep told me that they didn t have the product available, and she could give a refund. I said okay, she said since it was purchased online she can t give me a receipt or anything. As I start walking out, I felt something was off about all this. I went back, spoke to a different rep. Said they will check on it. Stood waiting for about 20 min. Then a different rep asked to help me. Was able to find my product. Then I had to go to my mobile order on the website to cancel so that I can purchase it in the store. I have been shopping at Best Buy for years. This left a very negative opinion of Best Buy now. With other options available such as Amazon, I may not be back to Best Buy to have my time wasted and inconvenienced.

Processor died on my computer, found one I wanted at this store. Called to ask if they priced matched microcenter, they said yes. Drove 30 miles to get it. Show up, and they refuse to do it saying system wont allow it. Get the store manager Guillermo involved and he refused to do anything or help beyond saying he cant override the price. Now Ive been on phone with their Corporate for over 1 hour and 45 minutes, explained situation to sales, they APPROVED doing it, but couldnt figure out the system. Now talking to someone in customer service, and now all they can do is charge me the full price then offer me a gift card for the difference. I will not be going to this store or any other bestbuy again.

Unfortunately, I walked inside, and there was no help in the beginning. But then one gentleman came up and asked if they got up us. They got on their cell phone and tried to assist, but he didnt even know what a Halo was or speaker to do the search. As a standing there and being concluded less, he asked me to enter the product information. While thats there, I was looking for that product. By the time I went to the speaker, the speaker found the speaker that we wanted to put in the ceilings. There was still no assistance or help, even looking around. There was nobody around until we actually started leaving the store. And then someone asked, but although to late cause were on a crunch helping out our customers. The customer service has gone down the drain. Thats how I resell it. Retail stores around the world are going out of business. Best Buy is not Best Buy anymore.

The worst experience buying home appliances. We Purchased in May refrigerator and dishwasher, installers charged me at my house extra and did an awful job, left everything with plastics, dishwasher terribly installed and the nightmare begins. Called the 1800 number explained the dishwasher kept falling every time it was open, kept sending same crew ( they wanted to charge me every time even though I have the geeksquad warranty ) and did nothing, they even broke the dishwasher, ordered a replace, I requested a different team, a new team arrived on December and I have hardwood on my kitchen, refused to cover shoes or floor even I provided everything, the open cabinets move everything without consulting, started making holes on my cabinets putting screws everywhere, I noticed they were not proficient, I started talking with them, they just arrived a few months ago from a Mexico caravan, you did this in your country? Answered received NO we just learned this type of technicians BEst BuY sends to our homes. One month later the dishwasher detached and fall gain to the front, but is hanging just from one screw, now is making a strange noise, scratched the floor, broke the cabinets frame because the cabinet fall with the dishwasher. Went to the store and they have the WORST customer service, avoid this store, they only want your money but when you have an issue they treat you like trash. The are incapable to solve a problem, they say they just sell stuff, they give you an 1800 number that is answered somewhere in Asia, pretty nice people but they just take messages. This company is a real joke, put the complain on BBB called me back and left a voicemail with a fake callback number your call will be monitored . This phone number is a non service phone number, Best Buy has disconnected pls contact 1888 bestbuy is this for real????? This company should be sued! Is a big scam.

Terrible Best Buy. The worker in the appliance department added the My Best Buy Plus membership to my grandmothers purchase without her authorization/knowledge. Thankfully I looked at the receipt and noticed it. I don t know what these Best Buy scammer got going on at this store. No telling how many people they do this to.

Best Buy is no longer the store Id spend an hour or more browsing in, but when I need something that they have in stock (or might), it is still a great option. This is one of the few box stores that has consistently great customer service. When one store is average at best, the next will be exceptional in retail service.

Shortly before Christmas I picked up a present here. Paid for online picked up ins store. When I got there I went to the wrong line because I had never done this before. The lady at the didn t say a word, just pointed to customer service. The security guard was the most helpful out of everyone interacted with! More on that later. When I got to customer service, they seemed burdened that they had to help me. I get it, they were probably pretty busy. But they didn t even look at me while I was there. Upon leaving, customer service handed me an XBOX X no bag, no nothing! It s a Christmas gift and expensive, a little forethought would have gone a long way! As I m struggling with this giant box, my purse, and another bag, the security guard asked if I needed any help and thank goodness he did. I asked if maybe they had a big bag for the big box and he went and found one. It took probably 10 minutes, but he was a life saver! The employees are disinterested, and frankly rude. It takes 2 seconds to be nice, but that was too much for these guys!
