Sunday Sept 7 2024, we saw Jo Koy! Parking: very impressed that we were directed to a different lot, not knowing the staff recognized our disabled military vets plate. Entry: went very smooth, staff kept kind moving by directing and redirecting to shorter lines/doors. As stated , no pictures or recordings or you will be removed from show. Exactly what happens, 2 persons were removed in our seating area with in the first 20mins of show. One right behind us and one in the row in front of us. Good eyes staff! Follow the rules and enjoy the show people! We have only been in this area for 2 years. Great arena however , hoping for better concerts to come popular country and classic rock and of course more Jo Koy! Put Edinburg on the map with others not just those whom sing Mexican music:-) Thank you for a safe and enjoyable night!

Disorganized event. The lines wrapped around the building, past the dumpsters in the back, just to enter. We had to stand in lines outside in the heat for over an hour. The security check was a joke, the lady even said the detector went off because of the wind. People cut in line all over the place. Once inside, it felt like the AC was not on. The beer was hot and served in a styrofoam cup. The hallways were so packed with people you could barely walk. Once we left we asked multiple staff members where the Uber pickup area was and nobody seemed to know. They sent us to the wrong area of the parking lot multiple times. Peso pluma had an awesome performance but the venue itself was a major disappointment. If I didn t already have tickets purchased for another event that will be held here, I wouldn t return to an event of this size there because it was a mess. All that to say, wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to be hot and uncomfortable anyway.

I was with my dad going to a graduation to see my sister when the security guard tried to make a joke by saying where are my car keys because of how old I looked or something along the lines of that. I took it however not very funny because we were running late and he didn t even crack a smile when I was confused why he was asking that, my dad had to step in and inform him that I am his son. I m disappointed in this stadiums security.

Great venue! Awesome show Fluffy! Bars and food services were good. Clean bathrooms short lines. The only negative thing was getting out of the parking lot- it took an hour. They need better exit organization. Other than that it s the best concert venue in the RGV

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Party. Do not recommend very expensive, trucks could not do the wheelies, could not do donuts, freestyle is usually my favorite it was horrible they where just driving around my 4 year old as well as my 14 year old were falling asleep not worth the money.

Extremely processed popcorn and the Food was horrible. It gave my son and I food poisoning of some sort. It was a long night. The Viper Basketball event seemed so forced. Seems impossible to make money if the tickets are always free for everyone. The establishment reeks of the Compadre system we have in the RGV.

Line for VIP was horrible. Spent 2 hours just standing there because no one knew where the lines started and was so unstructured. Leaving the venue was equally disorganized no traffic flow because no one was facilitating traffic. Show was amazing but the venue itself is horribly run

Went to my first boxing event last Saturday to see the Vargas Bros! The place and event itself was nice! BUT unfortunately we got seats near the owner of the place I believe or the guy that built the arena and sooooooooooooooooooooooooo many booty kissers kept coming up to him and ultimately obstructing my view! If you come to an event try not to get seating near the guy otherwise you will miss most of the show!

Really nice arena in the RGV! Here for my nieces graduation from EHS and the seats were quite comfortable, Rose were deep enough that people could travel in front of you without you having to scrunch up like an inchworm. Traffic control was actually really awesome going in. Thought that we would be in a pretty hellacious line to get in like we were at the Alamodome 2 weeks ago for UTSA graduation, but it was super easy and lots of people directing you where to go. They dont allow outside water and then charge you $3 for the same thing you pay $6 for a 24 pack, so they are expecting to rob you blind on the concession side of things and dont even seem to feel bad about it. Seems like concessions rung up the cash register for Bert Ogden, not for EHS, which is a bummer. I can see paying $3 for a $0.75 water if it was at least going back to the school system. Please pay attention when you are leaving to make sure you exit out onto the frontage road as far back / South from Trenton as possible (I think the streets name is Amelia?) so that you can pop right onto the freeway instead of having to go through the Trenton light, which can add 15 to 20 minutes onto your commute out if you are northbound from the Arena. My advice is to park closest to the exit so that you can get out quicker.

Very nice arena/event venue. We came for a high school graduation ceremony. The parking was pretty well organized with working. It was easy to get in & out. They did have a ton of illogical rules that seemed to only apply to certain people. Made us put our stuff in a baggy bc we were told no bags or purses were allowed. Later saw ladies with all kinds of different bags from it was ridiculous. We had to leave & return bc I had a selfie stick. Finally made our way inside to pay $30 for 2 nasty & a small seemed a little steep. The restrooms were clean. The sound was good in the stadium. The video was good quality. We d definitely go back for another event. 4 bc they make you throw out water & then force you to spend a fortune on trash food & drinks. It wouldn t kill them to let you bring water. Not an ethical business practice to force you to throw out water in June in south Texas where is important & then price gouge you!! My boys came for a monster truck rally, but I can t really speak to the event just threw in the for the review since it was at the same place.

The concert was AMAZING!! So for that Im giving 5 stars but the food was gross. Hamburger my husband ate was cold & rubbery!! The hotdogs I had was also cold & seems as though it had been there for a while. Food really needs improvement. Arena also needs to have fans outside while people wait to be let in. The Texas/Valley heat is crazy down here. Arena should offer water outside as well.

Attended one of the BEST concerts ever! Los Tigeres Del Norte lived up to their billing as El Jefe de Los Jefes! I truly never expected the Audio / Visual experience their concert would bring. The 2 hour and 20 minute set was more than enough to please the soul last night. The only detraction was the utter lack of fans in attendance, the arena was probably only 50% full, I understand that some seats were blocked off due to visibility issues, but many sections were visibly less than 50% full. That is the reason why we never get decent acts to perform in the RGV. Our local fans fail to show up. Oh, I am sure a few will still complain about this or that, but I wonder if the person voicing the complaint actually attended last nights concert?

I went to the Monster Truck Show recently and was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the building. The concessions stands were overpriced, but the show itself was truly amazing. Ive been to plenty of these events in my time, so you could say Im an expert - and this one did not disappoint. From the roaring engines to the dizzying flips, it felt like a spectacular adventure for all ages. Every moment held something unique and exciting. The only downside? I had to pay through the nose for those snacks!

The organization to park the Edinburgh police and the constables just standing scratching their bellies poorly organized and the staff, the boys have no idea what they are doing in the parking lot. The lines of up to 1 hour to enter and another 45 minutes checking that you do not bring big bag ughh. In addition to the food and drink service, 25 minutes waiting in line to buy food and other things, terrible service, everyone with a jet. And apart from getting out of there, the relaxation of 1 hour to leave. The policemen eating snot. for LARGE events, GO TO THE PAYNE ARENA STAFF AND THE HIDALGO POLICE TO GIVE YOU SOME ORGANIZATION CLASSES
