Was craving Pho for a while and found this restaurant. Came at lunch time and they werent busy. Just myself and 2 other customers. Had the combination pho and when I say, its the best broth Ive had in a long time! The serving size was large compared to other places Ive eaten pho at. There was a alot of meat and noodles in the broth. Everything was fresh and tender. What made it even more delicious was their house chili oil... That was not your typical chili oil...there was heat but so much flavor to it... I even bought a jar to take home with me! I cant wait to go back again with the rest of my family!

I never seen the kind of customer service I got, as I just walked into this restaurant to eat. Been my first time I didn t know their menu was on the wall. The guy at the reception desk literally attacked me for asking him if they had a menu. I guess he wasn t use to dark skin people coming to that restaurant.

Pho broth here is salty and lacking in beef flovor . I had the combination pho. you dont get much meat at all for $13-14 bucks. Nice clean environment but everything is basically self served on a cart in the corner.

Please note that the Google menu prices are not correct. Thats how they roped my frugal self in! The pork sandwich was big and meaty. It was loaded with fresh veggies. The spring rolls were good too, just a little chewy on the ends. Service was on the slow side and its really quiet in there, unless that one patron was just smacking loudly. I could hear her across the room. Ahh mysophonia! Id go back, just not on my limited lunch break.

Had the classic bánh mì th t n ng aka pork sandwich with an avocado smoothie. Smoothie was deliciously smooth and creamy, Flavor was great. Sandwich was packed with meat and tasty. Clean environment , fast service. Definitely coming back, to try the rest of the menu

The Steak Pho, shrimp Vermicelli, and Banh mi sandwich are all excellent. I cant eat there often enough. Be prepared for a lack of decor, nothing on the walls and a straight row of house plants near the windows. A new and clean restaurant, with a sterile atmosphere, similar to a hospital. Go anyway. The food is worth it.

From reading the reviews, I can agree the girl/lady in the front taking order is not the warmest. My dad wanted to try Pho here but I warned him that the reviews didn t seem to be favorable. He asked her for a few aunthentic stuff that normally goes with pho and she was not the friendliest when answering. Never had a smile when greeting us. We just left because the vibe was off.

Today was my third visit, each time has been a different experience. Not for the best. While I really enjoy the food I order, it s been accompanied by weird customer service. For lunch I asked if my fried eggs could be medium and was firmly told they are only sunny side up and they do not flip eggs. My request for a longer cooked sunny side up egg was eventually agreed upon. My coworker had a similar weird experience when he asked for sugar for the unsweetened tea. Was instructed to use the artificial sweetener multiple times before receiving a small saucer of sugar from the kitchen. No attention after food was brought to the table, such as a single refill. Unsure what these experiences mean but hopefully anyone else trying will have a better time. The food is good. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options.

Thank you for the food but horrible customer service. I guess she got mad because I didn t tip for a to go order which was 10 orders and I went and pick it up. When I asked for siracha sauce she gave me only 4 I ask for more and she responded rude telling me next time to keep in mind she charge for those. Trust me it will not be a next time. I pay almost $200 and you can t even give me sauces for 10 orders.

My initial visit (not busy) left me with a positive experience, leading me to bringing more people with me to share the same experience I had the first time around except it went terribly wrong. I guess working under pressure for these people isn t their cup of tea but Ive worked in the food industry for many years before so I know things can be unpredictable, unbearable and being rude isn t a solution. you should not yell at any customers as a validity of frustration as the lady that works here shows. Unfortunately this place lost all recommendations and services from me. You should learn from your reviews instead of validating them.

Placed a pickup order thru doordash and I didnt check it until I made it to my next destination which was in the same shopping strip. I ordered the shrimp vermicelli and instead of getting vermicelli I received white rice. I went back and the lady at the counter was more than willing to correct the order. But if you have been here before then u will know that if u are standing at the counter u can see directly into the kitchen. She took my order to the lady preparing the food and explained. She came back and said it will be a couple of minutes and to have a seat. I sat at the table in front of the counter with my back turned towards the kitchen. I turned around to see if it was ready and what I witnessed disgusted me to the fullest. The lady preparing my food was using her bare hands to place the food into the togo containers. They way it was done proved to me this is what she does all the time. When the lady from the counter brought me my food I explained to her that I actually saw her cook using her bare hands to prepare my food and explained how unsanitary that is. She immediately went to the cook and told her what I saw and that I wanted a fresh plate. The cook appeared with gloves on but I think the public should be made known of this practice. I honestly believe I should report this to the health department

This place is awesome. I wish they were open on weekends and later in the day, but I understand. We tried their rice and meat bowls. I had chicken and pork, and my partner had pork and beef. All the meats were incredible, juicy, flavorful, and tender. The rice was perfect. The fried shrimp bites are amazing, and I would happily pay for a bigger size if they came in one. Will be coming back many times. Service was very fast and courteous.

Horrible rude service. first time at this place, we sat down and werent helped or greeted at all until after several minutes one of them yelled at us from the register that we are supposed to order from the register in a rude annoyed manner. The lady that came to clean the table didnt even greet us and completely ignored us when we tried to ask her something. I can understand this happening if the place was packed but we were the only customers there. I would not recommend this place at all and Im sure I would not come back ever. ended up going to Pho Dien 1960; and let me tell you what a difference in the way they treat customers.

I ordered the Beef sandwich and it was good. Its usually one of my favorite things at Vietnamese restaurants. I asked the lady if she could make it spicy but she said she cant. I was like whatever, just give it to me the way it is. I have to say it was plenty spicy, and it was good. Either way the food was good, and Ill be back get more. Glad I found this place, and no I did not try their Pho.

I ve come here probably three times and though the food is okay, each time it s the lady taking the orders, I have wanted to tell her that her attitude is horrible. You SHOULD NOT be working in customer service if you don t have a certain level of decency and respect. I ask questions and she s very short as if I m annoying her with my questions. I ve felt bad to write this review but now looking at some of the other reviews, it s not just me that she is this way towards. Pho Spoon, please train her to treat customers better. Really rude service. I asked the lady at the counter if there is a pork option for the rice plate, she pointed to the menu in a tone as if I were retarded and illiterate. Couple of things I didn t like about this place: We placed an order of 6 banh mi and a chicken fried rice, lady said 15 min wait. When I asked what my total would be, she simply said have to wait meaning once I got to restaurant, ok figured they were busy and it was my fault for placing an order while driving and not looking at the menu. We waited a total of 37 min for food. Food was ok but not worth coming back honestly. When I asked for siracha sauce, she handed me 2small packets. I asked for more since I had 6 banh mi and she proceeded to give me 2 more since they don t give sirachas with sandwiches I apologize for breaking your bank with the extra siracha sauce. I agree with other comments, did not like cashier s attitude!

I ve been okay with this place lately but today just disappointed. The noodles were not cooked through, they were out of chili sauce, and the lady at the front counter just didn t have the best customer service personality about it. Kind of short/rude. When these guys first opened before the pandemic, they were nice. Food was not as good as downtown places, but knowing us as a regular made up for imperfections. Idk if they ever opened up for seating again at any point, but we just attempted to go in and theyre not seating still. This is ridiculous. Pho is NOT GOOD, I REPEAT, NOT GOOD FOR TAKE OUT. We already made a big exception for the cheezy prepackaged egg rolls that arent authentic, but take out pho still? It was different when take out was all that was allowed, and we tries to support. However Ive waited patiently for a year and a half now. Other vietnamese places have long opened dine in for their customers. Now those other places have just gained another customer.

My bf and I have been picking up food from here. We called in an order last night. It was almost closing time. She told us to come in 5 minutes. I thought it was strange that the food would be ready so quickly. I ordered a tofu banh mi, vegetarian crispy rolls, and a small chicken pho. We got home and the egg rolls had meat in them. Also, we got charged for a small bit of peanut sauce. I didn t need a whole container. My bf is vegetarian so he couldn t eat the rolls. A bit disappointed in the service.

Me and my wife love coming here from Crosby, Texas. The pho is amazing, sandwiches are to die for. Pork spring rolls amazing. This place has quickly become one of my top 3 places to get Vietnamese food in the Humble area. The restaurant is clean, cold, and quiet. What I like most is the price. Many places have jacked up their prices due to Covid and rising prices, but their menu has not changed much for years!! The Pho is above average and on par with any other pho place Ive had in this area. The highlight is the Vermicelli. They cook their noodles PERFECTLY and their meat isnt overly seasoned. Well worth the visit!!

Today was my first time trying this place. NEVER AGAIN!!! First, the lady answering the phone is very rude. I ordered an iced coffee, chicken pho and egg rolls. I asked for extra condensed milk (willing to pay extra) in the coffee. She said they couldnt do it, it came as is according to her. The egg rolls tasted like they were fried in old oil. The chicken pho has got to be the WORST Ive ever tried. I threw it away! The broth is horrible, tasted like old canned soup. TERRIBLE SERVICE. They take care of you when they want. They have customers waiting for a long time without saying a word to them. They dont allow you to sit down and they give no explanation about it, so you have to stand waiting until the food comes out, which is quite a long time. The person serving treats you as if they are giving you free food. Vietnamese food is my second favorite food, but this specific place is complete garbage. I had a large pho. Had it with the steak and fatty brisket. At first it was really good. Soup had good flavor and the brisket was amazing. But as soon as i put in the steak the soup color changed and it immediately tasted putrid and smelled really bad. Idk if the steak was just bad or what but it was inedible at this point. And to top it all off im trying to eat this in a work truck but for a to go order they out the soup filled to the top in a plastic container and put the noodles and meat in a Styrofoam to go box so you have to dump half the soup out to put meat and noodles into it to eat. Will definitely never return.

The Pho Spoon has the best pho with generous portions in the entire Houston and Humble area. I also enjoy their Bom Mi pork sandwiches. I absolutely love their quality food. I also feel appreciated every time I come there. I love this restaurant and recommend it to anyone that appreciates quality Pho and other amazing dishes they have to offer. Not very impressed. Rude, dry customer service, and mediocre flavor. The vegetable on my pho bowl were not fresh and barely even got any. A bunch of bean sprouts but very thin minimal slices of everything else that was again not even fresh. 1 Thin slice of lime. Luckily I had all the vegetables at home and was going right back. The broth didn t have much flavor at all. Shrimp Banh Mi was very good though so that s why I gave 2 stars. Cashier needs an attitude adjustment. Probably the same person who took the order because she was rude and didn t even greet me. Seemed very bothered.

If I could put zero stars, I would! Walked in & didn t even know if I could sit wherever or if someone was supposed to come & show me to a table. I picked a table & sat there for TEN MINUTES & not once did anyone even look my way. When I finally decided to get up & walk out, the one lady at the cash register stared at my family and I & literally laughed in our face! TERRIBLE.

Giving them a 4 star because we ordered 2 Thai Teas and they were 75% full. Love the fact that they offer tofu. We got tofu spring rolls, tofu vietnamese sandwiches, and vegetable and tofu Pho. The food was very good. Though this is the only place to ever charge extra for additional sauces. (.50 each)

So tonight we decided to go back here cause our first time in was amazing the food was great the service was A+ !!!! Sadly that wasn t the case tonight the food was still great but the service was lacking .. there was a younger lady in there tonight and a young man the man was nice but the girl wasn t when we sat we asked for limes she never brought it after saying yes and let me remind you there was only us a five top and two other tables . So there for there was no need to be to busy to forget !! So we asked the other person and he brought us 3 limes for 4 soups two which were large bowls when asking for more he gave us attitude!! Then we got the rice and meat combos which on the menu said it came with a spring roll and pho we didn t receive either and when we asked about it they said that wasn t what we ordered wen clearly it was cause we asked for no chives in the pho then towards the end we needed one Togo cup for the soup when trying to ask the girl she completely ignored us went back behind the counter and just sat there so we had to go up front and ask for one .. over all the food is great but they need to get better workers or it ll go down fast mainly in this area service is key

Im on a job site nearby, and I stop by here once or twice a week. The place is clean and well lit, the food is always hot and tasty, and the waitstaff are a delight. Ive ordered pho to go, and all the ingredients come separate, accompanied by a large cup of hot broth. Certainly worth trying out.

Terrible customer service; I feel like they choose who to check on based on unnecessary factors, and that is to say that they did not check on my table too. Ordered separately, but the server only gave us one plate of veggies you would add to your pho, not to mention it only came with 3 twigs of greens. I cannot tell if lazy or just bad practice to save money. For pho enthusiasts, pho is pretty normal.. Been craving pho for months so I was disappointed on the portions - didnt manage to satisfy the filing I wanted with so little meat. No pictures on the handout menu either. You have to go up there for them to process your order..

It was horrible, I oreder pho with my friend they brought one plate of add-ins instead of two. I had to ask for my own plate and they then brought me a plate practically empty. The atmosphere and energy feels like a funeral! The pho had no meat barely any noodles but heres the kicker the bowl was huge and filled mainly with watery soup........ If this place can pass as a restaurant I fear the great people of humble have loss their taste buds!!!

My first time visiting was yesterday (10/1) I enjoyed the Thai tea and couldn t wait to return today to try a smoothie! On my arrival today the lady who took my order seemed very bothered by me, mind you I m 38weeks pregnant I approach the counter to order and asked if I was able to mix two flavors together (mango strawberry) she rudely says no. I then quickly decide on the one flavor I want and asked if it was made with real fruit. She annoyingly answered yes with an attitude I say okay and pull out my DEBIT card to make the purchase. She says it s a 7$ CREDIT CARD minimum as the sign states on the register. I then inform her that I m using the same DEBIT card that I used yesterday! She replies well is that a debit or credit card I say again a debit card she proceeds to continue the transaction with a nasty attitude! I m so confused because my experience yesterday was exceptional! And I was super excited to return and try something new! Anyways she had another member make the drink and it taste really good however I won t return because of the terrible service she provided I could ve been a repeat customer. Although my drink was only 4.60 I feel cheated.

I was so excited when this place opened to have a good option for pho in this area. Ive ordered from there twice times and have been very happy with the eggrolls, pho, and pork banh mi, but the shaken beef wasnt great. However, the issue here isnt the food but the customer service, more specifically the woman who takes orders over the phone who I thought was the owner or manager. I just called to place a to-go order and I gave her my order and then she asked if I was actually going to pick up my order this time. I said yes and she said well you didnt last time and I kept calling you and had to throw away your order. I was so confused because this has absolutely never happened so I asked when and she said last time you ordered because I remember your name. I told her Ive ordered from them a few times and really enjoy the good and would never do that to which she replied well you did. I have never done this and was so extremely disappointed and angry to have someone speak to me like that and I will never order from there again. Clearly she is not great at her job and cant keep track of orders since she accused the wrong customer and she has very poor customer service skills. Needless to say, I canceled my order right then. I absolutely do not recommend. I dont leave bad ratings but would give a negative 5 stars if possible. Do not waste your time and money here.

Was there for the grand opening and tend to go about every other week, great tasting pho but the young waitress really needs some people skills, she never comes around to ask if you need anything else, how the food was, or to check on refills, we had to flag her down to ask for everything after she brought out the food.

I ve eaten at a lot of Pho places throughout my life and this place is up there. The owners are super friendly and their dishes are delicious. I ve noticed some really petty reviews over missing jalapeños, etc...perhaps you should stay home or not give out bad reviews based on something so petty.

The pho was good and the portions are huge but...the staff isn t very friendly. Granted, I was very sick (which is why I was looking for something hot and spicy) and looked like a disheveled mess, but they looked at me like they didn t want me to be there. I noticed they were very attentive to other customers which is why I have to assume they just had a problem with me. When I asked for a to-go container they just gave me a cup and left me to fend for myself. With any other type of food this is perfectly fine but when dealing with soup that needs to be poured from a large heavy bowl into a smallish cup, I would think this easier done at a sink. Of course, I spilled all over the table (cleaned it up quickly) and had to resort to using the little soup spoon to transfer the soup into the to go cup.
