My name is Sylvia, I placed an order for pick up at about 1:30 give or take, the person that answered made sure to tell me that they close at 2, I am aware of that .. Im only 2 minutes down the road, Im waiting for my order about 8 minutes later I receive it... get back to work and open my meal and the onion rings I ordered were not cooked wel, my burger was also not fully cooked. . I can only assume they were in a hurry to leave at 2, and did a terrible job at making my burger and onion rings.... my co- worker as well, had the same issues with her meal. .. not good at all Ernies...

Ernies had amazing food! I have lived in the area for almost 40 years and have never gone there due to the fact they close so early in the day. I cant get there during their hours. However, my friend hosted a private event there, and finally, I was able to eat there. The food was so good!! I seriously am not over exaggerating. You must eat here. Staff was super good too. 5 star restaurant for sure!!!

First time in this place, the food is good, the breading does lack a bit of flavor but the chicken with mango sauce was delicious, the waitresss attention was good, only that when we wanted to pay they were distracted with the phone. I didnt think they were open! The parking lot was packed so I stopped. They did not disappoint. They are only open til about 2pm. They do offer catering. Especially, for the holidays & work dinners. Food was great. No complaints

Met my folks there during the work week who were very impressed. Most folks who stop in here are professional, regular customers and are very time conscious. The grilled chicken salad was fresh and plentiful. There s a group of us who come here sometimes for a lunch with clients. Most ask for Something Quick and Nice. I have an answer. Ernie s.

Very disappointed. My wife ordered the special (lasagna) and after our server took our order, she took the order of the table next to us. The lady at that table ordered the same, after a minute our server let us know they were out of lasagna but we noticed she didnt tell the other lady anything. My wife ordered something else and after a while we saw our server take the lasagna to the lady that ordered AFTER us. We asked our server afterwards why she did that and she said it was because they got there first but I told her what mattered was who orders first and told her that what she did was not right. I let her know we will no longer eat there.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! Excellent from the moment we entered the doors. 1st time visit and was well worth it. The staff was amazing, the food delish and a very down home atmosphere. Checked out the fried pickles appetizer. Followed by the country fried chicken steak meal w okra, mashed potatoes and gravy. Lets just say I was extremely satisfied. Go check them out if your in the area.

Im from out of town and i came in with a regular customer who said you cant go wrong with any of the chicken entrees. I had the Pecan Crusted meal and it was fantastic... sometimes breast meat can be dry, not this, moist delicious and HUGE helping! Potatoes with white gravy (order extra) and sweet tea (1/2 cut).... Fast friendly service too! If i lived in Houston Id be packing on the lbs.!

Wonderful lunch place! Our first time visiting, lovely place, friendly service, and the food... wow. Go hungry. I got the pecan crusted chicken with caramel sauce, delicious and it took up almost the whole plate! It will be dinner too! My husbands Chicken Fried Steak was the same way, very generous portions. Rolls were warm and soft, so overall, it was fabulous! Highly recommend!

Comfort food at reasonable prices. I love the Sagemont salad with the fried popcorn shrimp on top. I have them add egg to it to make it like a shrimp cobb salad. The other items I have had are also really good. Get there early or wait until later in the lunch rush or you will have a short wait to sit.

Good chicken fried steak (huge) and mashed potatoes. Mac and cheese were just okay and probably wont order again. We were there close to closing and they did hurry us along. One of the people with me had a shrimp poorboy with more shrimp than Ive seen on a sandwich. I think she took enough home for a couple of meals. I took at least half of my meal home and had enough for two more meals. Try it but they close at 2:00 p.m. so get there a little early.
