We ordered two meals and a 1/2lb of boiled shrimp. For the most part the food was great except the boiled seafood. It was very very over cooked. The catfish was great and so was the shrimp. The red beans were watery. Everyone in the restaurant was very nice though and it was clean!

The food was delicious!!! Shout out to the cook!!! The food was HOT and fresh. The okra was so good!!!!!!!!!!!! The kitchen manager and staff was so kind and accommodating. The resturant atmosphere was very inviting and clean. I have family coming into town soon and I will be taking them there. Stay blessed!!!

I usually dine at The Catch in Atascocita, but my recent experience was unacceptable. I ordered crawfish to go, and when I opened the bag, I found over seven snails and a grasshopper boiled with the crawfish. This is completely unacceptable. I will never eat at The Catch in Atascocita again. While the general manager did issue a refund, the cooks dismissive attitude, stating you know they are mudbugs, was infuriating. This level of cleanliness and customer service is entirely unacceptable for any restaurant.

We went to this restaurant at 8:40p on Sat. There were 5 of in our group. We all ordered food and teas to drink. Our food had not even come out and the teenagers who seem to run the place (no adult present) poured out the tea as if they were closed. Posted hours are open til 9:30p. I brought it up staff attention just we would like a refill of tea. They didn t apologize and had terrible attitudes. I told them they could at least refund the teas since we weren t going to be able to have any tea. They refused. It s a shame bc we usually enjoyed this place. The place needs some adult management. We won t be back.

This place was recommended by a client, as I am always willing to try places that serve catfish. My husband and I decided to check it out. We were overall disappointed. The ordering of the food shouldve been our first red flag, you order at the entrance, and they give you a number to place at your table so someone can bring it to you. We both ordered entrees that included catfish, one grilled and one fried. When the food came out, the grilled catfish over rice was bland, no flavor. The fried catfish had more breading than fish. The entire cost of two people eating was a little over 70$. My husband finally said what I was thinking. This place is an overpriced Long John Silvers. Now we only went once, and it was an early dinner, but based on our experience, we wont return.

The food is usually good and they have decent prices. But, Clarissa, the heavy lady with platinum hair, has a bad attitude. Every time I pick up a to-go order, she never greets me, nor does she smile. If youre tired of your job, leave! Most recently, I ordered through GrubHub, and they sent me heavily burned green beans and fish. Guess they thought since they didnt have to see me, they could give me the bottom of the pots mess. I messaged them through their website. No response. Ordered corn and potatoes in garlic butter, was given dry corn and potatoes. As you can see, no garlic butter inside the bag.

The worse experience my anniversary dinner was ruined.My husband never received his food.When they brought my food I was waiting on his we got up to ask 3 times and nothing spoke to a shift lead she never said sorry or never seem to care she said they go by order.If that was true my order should have been on my table way before others that we re walking in and getting fed before us I responded people are coming getting thier food first..what s going on are you even going to chk what going on with our food finally we just got my money back from my husband plate .. I called spoke to manager all she said I ll give you 10% and all she did was speak highly of her shift lead manger. I told her she was not acting like a manager she didn t respond as a manager and never took care of the situation.I felt 10% next visit was a slap in the face. This place ruined our anniversary dinner that comes once a year. The customer serv is bad here to many young kids goofing off not knowing what s going on they were with plates asking people if they ordered that..The restrooms weren t clean and no toilet paper I will never go there again..Perhaps the owner has to get with shiftleads and Manager to to take care of situations that occur here..

Ordered from uber eats but it was under the name Cajun Creation 001. The portion sizes were so small. My boyfriend ordered the Large Gator and got the smallest portion Ive ever seen for $17, the rice tasted like boil in the bag rice with no seasoning. The red beans and rice and no flavor whatsoever, tasted like mush. We also ordered 2 of those and only received 1. Got 2 orders of the lunch on the bayou and the only decent thing was the catfish but i could still make it better at home. Shrimp was ok but only got 3 pieces and the chicken tender was super small and skinny and again rice was bland in both dishes, those were also $17 a piece so for $70 in all it was definitely not worth it . Ordered from DoorDash and it was under the name Cajun Creation. Followed the address and it led me here which was surprising because I ve had the catch before and it was good. This food , not so much. The bowl of gumbo was gritty, like the flour wasn t dissolved properly. The tater tots were old and tasted like grease. The chicken fingers were old, dry and hard. The hush puppies were rock solid and when you bit into them, the cornbread crumbled like dirt. The fried fish was salty and beignets were hard and greasy. If this is the wrong place , I apologize, but this is where it led me. I will not be ordering again.

Ordered a bowl of Gumbo, drained out all the roux, this is all the protein that came with, not even a quarter filled. Ive complained about this place a number of times already, Ive wasted so much on Gumbo, and every time its either hit or miss. The business has replied to my reviews about tackling the issues Ive brought forth number of times. Clearly it just gets worse and worse. They just dont care. What is it? Is it because I always get my rice on the side (like it should be)? I dont understand how this acceptable? What am I suppose to get full off of? The Roux alone? Ridiculous. I m sorry but I don t know what s going on with the catch but they have went down hill. It s always something. I ordered shrimp from them couldn t eat them bc they over cooked them so the shell was almost impossible to come off had to throw it away. The cajun special was 5 star delicious. Really bad. Rice and beans were too spicy. Shrimp etouffee was 95% rice with 1 scoop of sauce. Sauce was super salty! Gumbo also was 80% rice and 2 little pieces of sausage and 3 shrimps. The oysters were the absolute worst Ive ever had. It was almost like the oysters shrank when I bit into them, and they were very tough when I tried to chew them. When I called the next morning, I asked for the manager and was placed on hold for more than 16 minutes. When I called back, she knew it was me and didnt even answer the phone appropriately, and just stated that she knew I had been on hold for a while. I asked for the district managers phone number and was told that she couldnt give out that info and did NOT ask for my contact info so the district manager could call me. However, when I called the other stores, the did NOT offer to take my info either. I FINALLY located him at the Humble store, but it took him an unreasonable amount of time to refund my money. It has taken me a while to post this review. I was hesitant at first to do so, because the food in-store is wonderful, but the experience I got via Uber Eats was atrocious. First off, the menu had not been updated, and two of my menu items were no longer being offered (crawfish tails and Whitefish), and the sizes of the portions were also wrong (lg Fish says 5 pcs, was only 3). I got a phone call informing me of these deletions, and rather than refund my money, the forced me to order something else. So, I reluctantly ordered the catfish and another shrimp basket. Uber Eats delivered the food quite rapidly, but when i opened the styrofoam containers, all of the breading was falling off and the food was soggy. As a chef with over 40 years in the business, I knew what caused this: not allowing the food to cool down in a drainage rack for sufficient time before putting the food into to- go containers. Wrapping these containers with plastic wrap just excaberates the process. Basically, I got steamed fried food, which is not very appetising to say the least. I paid close to 80 dollars for three meals which were: 1: Not what I wanted in the first place 2: not the portions stated on Uber Eats and 3: not handled in a appetising and apealing way. I went to the store personally the next day to speak with the manager, and basically got blown off. Well, thats Uber Eats fault the menu isnt right. Well, its Lent, were very busy. In other words, one excuse after another. I then asked to be able to contact the owner, and was told he was out of town. I asked for his email address to further discuss this issue, and was refused. I wont be back, and thats a shame, because Ive enjoyed eating there, but there are other options.

I accidentally placed a pick up order for the Conroe location when I called that location they weren t really able to assist me in a refund but they said to call the other location. Manager by the name of Rodney at humble was very helpful and placed my order. Plus food was delicious

Shrimp and hush puppies were overcooked. Etoufee tasted burnt and the banana pudding has no bananas in it. Not worth the price. They were better when they first opened.

Chef named Gilbert is amazing. Man is skilled in cooking. His shrimp make me float. His fish make me swim. His crawfish make me pinch. The French quarter plate by Gilbert is busting good. Serving was amazing, food on time. Nice restaurant and nice chefs and workers. Gilbert should be in higher positions than where he is. Promote that man as head chef or manager I say.

Went here on a whim and ended up really enjoying it. Friendly staff with a decent size menu. Had a good deal on snow crab. Fried fish was good and tasted fresh. Fried pickles were also very tasty. Will come back for sure.

The gumbo was delicious. The boiled shrimp had to be cut open with a knife and deveined, then reheated. They definitely need to clean the shrimp, but Id definitely go back for that gumbo.

I ordered the Cajun platter, my wife got the Catch Boil, with a side of hush puppies. Number 1, the food is excellent, full of flavor and lots of food on the plate. I finished my food (2 catfish filets, grilled sausage, red beans and rice and shrimp) hut had to roll out when done there was so much. My wife ended up taking home half the crab legs and almost half the shrimp she had so much on her plate. I enjoyed the food so much! I see there is a location in North Texas so now I am going to try one a hit closer to home!

Ordered the whitefish, shrimp, hush puppies, corn and potatoes, and garlic bread. Meals come with a complimentary margarita. They have a great menu where you can get snow crab legs, catfish, crawfish, coleslaw, green beans, bannana pudding and more. Music is playing which is an added bonus.

If you order here expect to wait an hour for your food. the staff also takes about 5 minutes just to bag your food. in the hour i was waiting for the order that was supposedly ready, i also noticed how dirty and nasty the place is. saw at least two different big roaches. place needs to be shut down

Came here after work. The manager said it would be a 20 minute wait Bc she had several door dash orders. Smh so I agreed to wait. An hour later she comes to me and tell me they re out of pasta smh. Now after waiting for an hour I have to continue to wait for her to make something else. Next time I ll take my money and business somewhere else

Been about a year ago, we called ahead and inquired if they had oysters on the half shell. the response was yes they had them. we went to the restaurant and when we ordered the oysters, we were told they were out. so the response was just to get us in there. reminded me of a used car salesman. we left.

Been a big fan of this place for sometime, foods always been great. However our most recent visit is prompting me to not want to return. Reasons below. 1.Sticky floors, tables, condiment bottles. Everything was sticky! Sticky enough to require me to go wash my arms and hands. 2. Sweet tea was bad and had been bad for sometime. 3. Food was bland. Never had this issue before. Was shocked at this one. Not sure what caused this severe decline so soon but hopefully its corrected. Used to really enjoy this place.

When The Catch first opened - they were great. I don t know if there has been a management change, or if the place sold to another individual. Anyway, the level of service and quality of the food has spiraled downward. This evening, when we placed our order for gumbo - we were told they were out. After making other food choices, we paid and were given our styrofoam cups; one of which had a finger sized hole in the bottom of it - and it wasn t discovered until going to the soda station to get tea. They were out of tea - sweet or otherwise. I m sure the hole was punched through the cup by an employee and then placed back into the stack. The restaurant was smelly, and the floors were sticky and dirty. Staff really not concerned that their primary objective of good food, good service and attentiveness was not met. They really had a good thing going. Sadly It s doubtful that I ll be back ..

The food was good, no complaints there. When the waiter brought our food to us, he dropped one of the tarter sauce containers on the floor, picked it up and put it on our table like nothing happened. Uh, no thank you. Not sure I can go back to that.

Great place to get good fried fish and shrimps. They had free margaritas when we went and they were delicious aside from the mouthwatering platers of seafood. We ordered the fried pickles on a separate occasion but this time we ate at the restaurant and they were much better fresh. Highly recommend this place.
