We popped in for dinner yesterday and were pleasantly surprised that we had never heard about this place. I had the carne asada loaded fries and eggrolls. My hubs got the stuffed avocado with queso/beans. Everything was to our liking and the portions were definitely on point. We could only eat half of our entrees but that could be because of the over indulging that we did with our chile con queso appetizer lol.. The menu options are crazy so you should have no issue finding something delicious at this establishment. We will definitely be back! Also, all of the service people were pleasant and polite .. I love to see people who have fun at work.. One of the waiters was even dancing which brought a huge smile to our faces.

The food was terrible. The fajitas were over marinated with beer flavor, the tortillas were stale, the kids burger was raw, the bacon on the brochette shrimp was raw, the ribs were boiled and nasty. Had to ask 3 times for the check. The food was extremely overpriced. I started vomiting everything up on my way to the car. 75% of my food was still on the table when I left. If I could, I would give negative stars. We will never go back to this place.

I am new to Houston and I m trying a number of different restaurants in this area. I decided to order the chimichanga, which is what I ordered to judge all Mexican food restaurants.(but that s just me.) I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food that I got. I ordered it with the steak strips. I normally will not order with the chicken or pork. Shredded beef is usually my go to. The chimichanga had guacamole, sour cream, rice, and beans. With the salsa that was on the table it was great. So I don t forget to mention it, this is the first place I ve ever eaten that had salsa that was physically hot! This was so great! I m guessing this may be a Houston or a Texas thing. The service and food were both great. I have no problem recommending this restaurant.

This was our first time being there. The food was amazing and the service was great. I had the mole enchiladas and my wife had the taco trio. Jesse was our server and was very helpful with his recommendations. We will definitely be returning. Ive lived in this neighborhood for 37 years I just ran across this restaurant a couple months ago and by far it is the best in the area. I hail from Corpus Christi roots, and salsa is important - and theirs is great! Low salt, thick and roasted tomato based, very fresh tasting. I got the seafood enchilada meal and it was delicious, no complaints. I mean, it is a cheese enchilada, no fake cheese involved, which I love, with an addition of shrimp and crawfish topping, which I welcome. Fresh, and good. The rice also had fresh tomatoes, brightening it up, very good. I nixed the barracho beans for extremely high salt and lack of beans. I love vegetables (I would welcome a side of veggies instead) but my serving was all onions etc, not beans, and the reason I gave it only 4 stars.

Alberto and Sergio were fantastic, consistently checking on us and providing excellent customer service. The enchiladas suizas were incredible, the queso blanco was delicious, and the chips were perfect. The fajita chimichanga was exceptionally tasty and mouth-watering.The churros are also delicious. My second choice for mexican food and margaritas. They have great food, service and margaritas too. I recently moved to Atascosita and been going to different Mexican restaurants and this one is the second one that got my business. Service was excellent, their fajitas were delicious and great portions too not like other restaurants where they served you 3-4 thin slices of each. Their salsa was phenomenal that i even when got some for a house party i had over the weekend. Also their margaritas! Oh man! If you re a light drinker like i am then one will get u buzz (please drink responsibly) So i have found my favorite spot for great food and margaritas that is close to my house, I definitely recommend.

Love coming here and enjoying happy hour. The drinks are amazing and reasonably priced. The food was great and reasonable. Overall my service was good. It got 4 stars because at one point I felt like she was kicking us out. Ive been here several times before and have spent 2-3 hours here with coworkers and sometimes with my sister and have never felt pressure to leave. The helper kept coming back with boxes and removed everything from the table. She brought to-go cups and waited for us to put our drinks in it before she left the table. They spilled my drink, hey it happens. Immediately asked us if we wanted queso. Thought cool, its free because we all got wet. Nope small was 8 dollars, my margarita came at the end of my meal(20 min wait). The chicken tasted like it came from a can. Fajitas were good, but not good enough to ever come back. Mucho Excellente! This restaurant was clean and cute. The wait staff were courteous, did their job well and even sent us out the door with a courtesy soda for the road. The food .amazing!! It did not disappoint. When I come to Houston again, I will be hitting this place up. Sopapillas are as they should be golden pieces of puffed up fry bread sold with honey

Why tf was there a dj?! The food was good had camarones de la plancha. The salsa was meh; it tasted like spicy cocktail sauce. But overall, this place was a win. The waitress, despite being in the weeds, was amazing.

If you are looking for a GREAT LOCAL (Atascocita area) place to have lunch...definately come here. Happy hour drink AND food menus from 11 to 3. They make in-house Sangria punch & offer a margarita swirl using it for under $7. Food is awesome...4get the big dogs along the WPL area & COME HERE!!!!

I visited this place for the first time after a long day at work. My experience was great from start to finish. The food was excellent! I had guacamole, beef and chicken fajitas, and finished up with churros and coffee. Portion sizes were really huge and I took home leftovers that served me well for lunch and dinner the next day. Everyone I encountered were really nice, professional and catered to my every need. That s rare these days. I will definitely return with the family and may plan the company s holiday lunch at this restaurant.

This was our first stop in Humble. We sat for a few minutes before someone came to the table. I had the El Presidente and my friend had the Martin Special. Both were very good and a ton of food! The salsa is pretty awesome as well. Especially the salsa with guacamole and crema. The ambience is casual, Its very reasonably priced and delicious!
