My first time at this specs location in humble first seemed like a nice location, clean and organized however I encountered HORRIBLE customer service by a dark skinned older woman (a senior) there was literally NO line and while I entered my payment card with chip she got very frustrated because when prompted to enter a phone number and after it was entered she got mad and with a very rude attitude implied that my card was not working or my chip was ruined and she asked me to take it out and do it again and not to mess up her system. After I paid I asked for a separate purchase for a lotto ticket and told her I was paying cash she got even more angry and rudely told me she cannot help me because she s busy , keep in mind there is NO LINE AND NO CUSTOMERS and her job IS TO HELP . I m pretty sure she ran all the customers off because of that horrible first time experience with the Customer service I will NEVER go to that location again and do not recommend it to anyone else either. Definitely 1 star review!

It is always fun to see what different things liquor stores have when we travel. This one did not disappoint. Found some new things to try and didnt find some things that we see at ours in another state. The staff was most helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Gave us a great suggestion for dinner as well that was fabulous!

Love this Specs location! Every time I come in here,.. (which isnt enough, in my opinion, because Im in real need of more cocktails and a vacation lol )...the employees and customers alike, are extremely friendly and helpful. Down to earth folks and I always leave with a few laughs, many smiles...and yes, sometimes one too many of their special, oh so yummy, pecan pies around the holidays lol . Highly recommend this location...dont let the traffic on the feeder deter you from visiting them please. Youll miss out on their hospitality and wonderful service! (P.S. It is handicap accessible with a wheelchair ramp and parking up front for us finer folks with handicap plates, who have worked a bit too hard and need a little extra help to get through our days )

They weren t friendly at all from the time I walked in the door there was a lady serving samples of a drink. She never asked me if I wanted one but she made sure she asked the person that came in behind me which I thought was very rude because I did want to try it but after that, I said, forget it. The lady who checked me out, took my payment, put the drinks in a bag, and turned away from me will never visit that specs again poor customer service

Specs is always great, well this location from what I have experienced. The staff is the best part, one in particular. I dont remember her name, but she stands out from the rest, she is Latina . Impressed with her knowledge and service I always return looking for her expertise. I do recommend this location. It quite, not too much traffic, even though its located right off Hwy 59. Check it out, has all the right selections for Your preferences

I dont know the name of the woman at the counter, but she was such a nice and helpful person. She walked me directly to the section of wine I was looking for. Then, she asked one of the workers to continue helping me to find a good red and a white, plus some Irish cream for my wife. I even found the wine I used to drink 10 years ago in Spain. Great place, great customer service, and fair price.

I was helped by Kayla at Specs in Atascocita. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Introduced me to new products and share drink recipes. Lots of employees standing around enjoying each others company. I looped around the entire store twice, looking for an item that was behind the register. After all that, imagine being rushed out of the store because it was almost quitting time. Poor customer service. Store layout made no sense.

First time visiting this location, came in on a Friday. Two employees immediately greeted me and asked if I needed help finding anything. We talked allocations and Texas whiskey for 10 minutes, with them peeling off at times to assist other customers. Decent selection of Texas offerings and several currently trendy whiskies in the glass case as you walk past the registers. Like other Specs locations you can expect to pay close to retail on those hard to find bottles, and there will always be at least one whiskey buff working if you need them!

Yeeeah, Ive been mixing the ol smokey with the DP dark berry and ran out. I still could get out without spending $100+. (Always trying something new.) FYI dont get the blue flame. Its just paint thinner. On the way home I stopped to help someone that ran out of gas. I gave him the bottle to put in his tank. Rumor has it hes circled the globe twice.

It depends on the store. I am kind of a Specs groupie (like a Buckees groupie). I travel a lot, and I like to stop and visit for the variety. Giddings new store is fantastic! Specs off 45 and rayford is a happy place, too. Downtown is massive and has food as well.

Its a nice brand new place just built out. Its right Exclusive Furniture and before Mattress Firm. Plenty of parking and a large Handycap ramp up front leading right to the doors. The staff is friendly and helpful. Since they are newish they always have good stock. So if your specs doesnt have it, give them a call, Ive always found it here when mine doesnt have it.

The only reason I gave 1 star is because the site wont accept no stars. The employees at this location are some of the most hateful Ive ever dealt with...the register staff have to be ask to bag purchases, and act as if every movement is just more than they can bear. And lets not forget the one employee who follows me around like Im going to steal something if I can. Specs prices are NOT so good as to make this type of service acceptable, especially considering Total Wine and More is about 5 minutes farther.
