Try the sushi. Best sushi rice ever. I know its an Oreintal buffet . What you might expect, but seriously try the sushi Vegetarian options: Salad, fruit, just vegetable, rice, rolls, desert Lo mein I think this is vegetarian youd have to ask.

I know it s a buffet but still . Everything I had was tough, overcooked, or dry as hell. Best thing was boiled cold shrimp and their chicken wings in a buffalo type sauce. Their fried crab was also good. Not a lot of variety, their salad bar was more toppings, the sushi looked old and dry. Their veggies were hit or miss. Green beans were a pretty good. Dessert- best thing ice cream machine Would I come back? NO

Don t waste your time or money on this place. The restaurant is more fancier than anything there. The food selection was not a lot to choose from and the quality of the food was horrible. Green beans were still raw, stuffed mushrooms with chicken were raw, broccoli with chicken was bitter. We will never go back again. The worst I ve been to. You re better off going to China Star.

I miss the old Fu Lee Chinese restaurant off of 59 and kingwood Dr. But the glory days of Chinese are over. But Lings buffet is the only Chinese restaurant that can only even come close for desent Chinese food. There is always clean and the food is good. A bonus is that their ice cream is really good it has a old school rock salt homemade ice cream taste. All in all, their food is good so I give it 5 Stars!!

yesterday we were in this buffet for the first time and I must say that we were surprised, the inside was nice, clean, the food was excellent, a large selection and our waitress Lisa was very nice and also very accommodating Joel, the husband asked for garlic butter, no problem, I want them thank you again and also the owner, I highly recommend this place to everyone, we will definitely be back soon.

Was very impressed with the pricing and service came on a Saturday price for adults is 16 and kids 7 and under 6$ had the luxury of being assisted by Joel he was super sweet and courteous he made it go from a 8 out of 10 to a 9/10 for me and my son said a 10/10 for him. Definitely our new go to spot for buffet east family and china bear have nothing on this place!

The only Chinese buffet in the area that I trust and my kids will eat. The food is good, not great but it hits the spot. They have alot of seafood options but nothing I eat. The rice is good but lo mein is so flavorless. I do love the bbq pork, broccoli chicken, Crab ragoons and sweet and sour chicken. Wish they has spring rolls or chicken egg roll instead of pork. The pork egg roll this time was dried out in spots and so was the fried potsticker. Biggest disappointment was they got rid of almond cookies these were the only dessert I would eat there.

They have taken the top spot for Chinese buffet in the area, in my opinion. Their food quality is consistently good over not only the days but also through the day. You know how sometimes you come to learn a places lunch or dinner svc just sucks? Foods off or not coming out, choices are limited? Lings is very consistent. It is quite the drive for us, as we are coming from Porter, but the options for all-you-can-eat chinese elsewhere have just tanked, in our opinion. Supreme Hibachi (Porter) and Cafe East(Humble) just aint it anymore.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. This place is terrible. The quality of the food is absolutely disgusting. The food may be super high in MSG because my husbands heart was racing afterwards and he felt awful after eating. I know buffets arent great anyway, and you get what you pay for, but this was the worst Chinese buffet that Ive ever had. The servers were nice though.

Very small. Probably one of the lowest ranking buffets Ive been to when it comes to atmosphere and quality. We were surprised there was such little selection available, especially desserts (only 2 cakes offered and soft serve ice cream). The quality of food wasnt that great either. Everything was blah, average or below average taste. Ive lived in the area for years and only tried this place twice and it was basically the same result both times. This is a nice clean place with a relaxing feel to it. The staff is so incredibly polite and attentive! However, the food just isnt as good as it should be. The basic Chinese buffet fare was mediocre at best and I cant say I really enjoyed it. The food seemed a little overcooked, but I cant say for sure. You might have better luck, but I really cant recommend Lings.

We just love coming to Lings!!! They have a LARGE variety of food to choose from, so large that there is no way to even try it all. My favorites are the egg drop soup, sushi, cold boiled shrimp, sweet and sour chicken and the coffee flavored cake mousse on the end (its the BEST)! The service is great at the table and the buffet and the atmosphere is very cozy.

I absolutely love Lings Buffet. Ive been coming here for just over 5 years. The food is great, the staff is nice, and the price is very reasonable and as far as Ive noticed, it hasnt changed much unlike other food places. Needless to say, I highly recommend this restaurant. Good experience each time I have come here. Twice for lunch & once for dinner. Dinner buffet had plenty of good sized fried butterflied shrimp and fried fish along with large boiled shrimp. This alone was well worth the price. The creamy type coconut shrimp was delicious also. I usually always serve myself salad, hot & sour soup, white rice & fresh veggies (asian green beans, broccoli & mushroom). The lo mein & fried rice always look good as well. The pan fried dumpling looked good tonight but may have been left out on the steam table too long because they were dried up and rubbery when we tried to eat them. My 11 yr old likes the sushi, general chicken & fresh fruit. I have to start getting used to paying full price for my brat now that hes growing up. The 10 and under childrens price is the lowest in the area though. Again, the variety of good quality food that he ate on his plate was well worth the price. And since its crawfish season now we saw plenty of customers enjoying boiled crawfish. See yall again soon.

Ling s has been our go to after church and on random dinner night every now and then. We are a family of 6 and sometimes we d have up to 10 in our party. Love the service and friendly atmosphere. One of our favorite places to eat a variety of Japanese and Chinese food. Not only because the variety is ample, but because the service they provide is meticulously talented. We have visited Ling s buffet for years now, Always enjoying the flavors pristinely displayed at the warmer s. The waiters always come to your table when first arrive and take all the drinks orders. From coffee, tea and other popular soda drinks , the choices are almost endless.. no alcohol, that I know is served here. Tables, chairs, and general areas are always clean. Clearly, paying a lot of attention to the reputation and presentation. If you visit this place, and like us, enjoy clean, well presented flavored Asian food, you will not be disappointed here.

UPDATE 2023: So happy to see that this place has come back so well after the plandemic! Full self service buffet is open and the food is great. Definitely give it a try because its worth it. Old review: Restaurant was very nice and clean. Typical Chinese buffet selection. We ordered take out and waited about 10min. The chicken in both the sweet and sour and the General Tso was mostly tough unfortunately. However we got a lot of food in each dish. Lo Mein was seasoned weirdly and probably had too much shoyu in it. Kind if disappointed on the food quality for the actual restaurant looking so nice inside.

It s a big clean and somewhat modern Chinese food buffet. You are seated and off to the races. The foods of my choice are as shown . Shrimp, Fried Krab, sushi. Scale 1-10 Shrimp -8 probably taste better fresh. Very good seasoning. A lot of them felt mushy. Fried krab-7 Had a sense that it didn t smell right. It was a watery texture. But it had that outside seasoning like it had potential. Sushi-9 the sushi had a nice variety and all of it taste somewhat fresh considering the readiness. *The staff was attentive, the cheesecake was ok. The soups are good. Next round will be just soups and sushi. Unless the krab is touched up! Overall, we got as full as we wanted to. And it was a joyful experience. I would definitely go again. Oh and there a water fountain you can take pictures by out front!

Beautiful place! The food is good and the anterior is rather nice. Our waitress (Bi yu) is a really nice lady and is an overall nice woman. She s very helpful and always asking if we need anything. Overall a 10/10 and one day will return

Met us at the door an hour before closing and refused to seat us. Looked at his watch and asked if I knew what time it was. Owner was rude and I will never come here again. Horrible service and rude owner. Doesn t deserve our hard earned money.

Straight to the table. Large selection with all the tasty classics. Fresh sushi, veggies and all the protein you can imagine. Such a great deal as well. $10 a person you cant beat it. We will be back.

We love the egg drop soup, egg rolls and jello with strawberries for a tasty light dinner. Service is incredibly good - especially the lady at the checkout counter. She makes it such a pleasure just to walk in the door. Never much leftover as you can see!
