This was my favorite spot for years,You could go watch a game and be able to talk.Now they have a DJ Friday and Wednesday the music is so loud you have to yell to talk. Its not a night club its a bar?? Im just not a fan of screaming to my friends across the table.Just my opinion

First, you have the best cheeseburgers in Houston outstanding second thank you for putting on the firework show. I appreciate you. I don t drink a lot. I come by have a hamburger and a beer once in a while but when someone asked me where there s a good club at I always tell them on the rock, wonderful food, wonderful food, good service good all around I think he s got something for everyone. Thank you. Parking: Large parking lot no problem finding a spot to park with a lot of visibility that people always got an eye on your automobile. Don t know any problems with vandalism. Everything seems to go really good.

I have gone to this place about six times now and each time I ve been lucky enough to have Kaley as my server and she s always very attentive and very friendly and she usually comes and asked me if I need something before I even need it so for example my drink She ll see that and she ll come and ask me another one or I tell her every time she Sees my drink almost empty to just bring me another one until I say stop. She always remembers that. I don t want salt on my drink. And if I order food, she always brings whatever I need to eat that meal before the food even comes to the table. She is the reason I keep coming here.

This is THE place to be for sports games and food! The fried catfish was AMAZING!! The drinks were very consistent and the people passionate! It was great to hang out here for a few nights with our friends! Definitely a great place to go!

First time trying out this place. Went to lunch with a co worker, to my surprise they have a fantastic menu with unbeatable prices. I was not expecting much but I devoured my burger! It was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. My waitress was extremely great and would check on me consistently all while working the bar too! Great food and even better service!

On the Rox is excellent. Inside is huge with two sides, smoking and non. Plenty of entertainment with darts, pool table, etc The food is what really sets them apart. The menu has an excellent variety. Seafood is excellent! The atmosphere is great too, went in on a Wednesday (Crawfish Night) and it was super busy. Even with the crowd the service was outstanding. If your in the area you can beat On the Rox for great food and drinks!

Fast, friendly, and accurate service. It was my first time and I noticed walking up one door said non-smoking entrance, so I went in that one. One half is smoking and one half is non, but there is a big open space between. It wasnt smokey on the non-smoking side, but you could definitely smell it. Its been so long since Ive been somewhere that people smoked inside! It really didnt bother me, kind of nostalgic even, but I know people who would not be happy about it, thats why I mention it. Id go back!

6 stars because I fell on my face as soon as I stepped outside! I ve never fallen especially after leaving a bar. They were not stingy with the liquor. The patrons were super nice and even bought drinks for me and my friend. Extremely spacious with two sides to the bar. There is a smoking and nonsmoking side.. thankfully. I will definitely return

If I could give more stars, I DEFINITELY would. We held a retirement/graduation party here. It was so fun and easy. Tommy and Stephanie are the BEST! The made planning, set-up and takedown a breeze. The upstairs area was perfect - it was a private area with our own FABULOUS bartender, Stephanie. If you need a party space - this is ideal. They will accommodate anything you need. 1st class service and great people. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

First time here and the food and drinks were great. I got a salad, which normally bars don t care how the salad comes out, but the workers in the back did amazing. It took forever to order once we sat down and there was always 3 waitresses standing around just playing with their hair and chatting. The place wasn t busy when we got there either. The staff and locals are the greatest. The owner runs a great ship and is unapologetic about keeping the place orderly while providing a fun filled atmosphere. The food here is all good and thats speaking from working the whole menu. Never had a bad meal; breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Love this place *edit* 5/11/21 knock down 2 stars While this is a great place for food and drinks I have to remove a couple stars from the rating. I have been going here since they moved from the other location on Jones down the street. Then today randomly get carded and only had a picture of it.. I get it you have a job to do. At the same time I worked doors downtown for well over 10 different bars. You can use reason with common since without breaking the law.

Got invited out by some friends who were briefly in town. As I walked in the thick clouds after thick clouds of tobacco smoke hit me harder than Lawerence Taylor. Overall aside from that it was so so. Music played was equally balanced to the folks there. Chicarones was nice and fresh and sizzling cooked to order. Wouldn t return tho due to the heavy smoke.
