I would definitely recommend this law group for disability claims. This was my second time filing for disability, the first time I filed I did it without an attorney. 2 years later after I regained the courage and mental strength to try again, I contacted Marc Whitehead and Associates. I had very little hope of approval knowing that my age played a huge factor for being denied. For the first time I felt validated and seen by Anthony and his team for the medical issues I have regardless of the denials we were receiving. This firm looks at your case every time a denial takes place to assess the continuation through the appeal process. They never gave up on me even when I gave up on myself. Not only did they win my case but I regained a piece of myself back after being denied so many times. It s worth the time, patience and trust. I was in an accident just over 4 years ago, and with the perseverance, knowledge, and just all-around amazingness of my team at Marc Whitehead, we were able to attain a Fully Favorable decision on my SSDI claim. They dont even take the time to talk to the potential client before assuming they cant help you. I asked her (Agnes Lopez) to call back in 5 min an 3 min later she emailed she couldnt help us. She didnt even talk to him, I would find another lawyer. This one doesnt care at all If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I used Marc Whitehead almost 20 years ago. I had struggled for 2 years to get qualified as disabled. I jumped through all the hoops and still denied. We had bills overdue, high credit cards, and couldn t afford to do anything. Marc Whitehead took the worry off our backs and got my disability approved quickly. I showed up for my hearing and he pulled the judge aside and showed him my case. I was a basket case, with scoliosis and surgeries and chronic pain. The judge approved it just like that. No questions he just signed it. He does a great job as and will go to bat for you!

Whitehead and Associates will get the job done! USAF vet with assignments at the ROK and various overseas and stateside locations. Been denied more times than one should with my significant military service connections. The last denial for an HLR, I felt Uncle Sam four lettered worded me. However, after I sent my decision notice to my case manager, Rayanna Perez, she responded in a positive way and within 3 business days sent me several emails detailing what the attorneys at Marc Stanley Whitehead plan to accomplished next. Ms. Perez has been spot on circling back to check my previous claims and explaining next steps. It is not the fault of the firm when dealing with the VA and the slow pace, however frustrating and anxiety fueled the wait has been - Ms. Perez and the team at Whitehead & Associates have been helpful, consistent, and professional. Fingers crossed for my next appeal!

Since 2020, my mother has been using this firm. She was diagnosed with Lupus since 2018. They require you to fill out a form in Which she has filled out 4 times, the same exact one. They want her to spend endless amount of money to go to the lupus dr, for the same results, diagnosed with lupus. The lupus dr is of no help as she gets different medicine every other week and gets blood work on the other weeks. They ve sent her 3 denial letters as this firm can t keep any lawyers. The social security office has even called my mother stating they never received her claim. Her and my father both, personally took the claim to the lawyers and still nothing. If you can t deliver her claim stop promising false hopes. Till this day they do not answer the phone, return emails or voicemails. Yet, you claim to have submitted her claims 3 separate times due to you have 3 different reps.. she has so much hope with you all due to your reviews but as we know everyone has their own experience and this firm proved it. She will need a letter from you all saying that she is released!!!!! We do not want your representation! She cannot go to another lawyer because of you all

I initially went with this law firm for my va disability appeal. I read the reviews and decided to call and see if they would take up my appeal. They went through the process and decided to take on my va disability case this was back in 2022. I must say from the day they took my appeal it was a disaster. I went through about 4 case managers the communication was very disappointing. In 2022 won an appeal which I was awarded with 10%. I heard nothing from this law firm during that appeal. Then in it took them one solid year to send my appeal in too the va rite up until the last month to file my appeal in August of 2023. From there it really got interesting. I will admit they wrote a rebuttal that allowed me to receive compensation exams that I needed to attend for the appeals. I would call to see what information if any I needed to know concerning the appeals, they couldn t tell me nothing so from August 2023 till March 2024 when the compensation exams were scheduled I knew nothing. I called every month NOTHING.. I was never notified by them when the exams would take place and or advised me on what to say or do in the exams!!!!! So I attended the exams and by THE GRACE OF GOD I won and was awarded 70% which took me to 80%. Since winning in March I have had not one phone call from this law firm congratulating me no letter nothing!!!! I feel like the 20% back pay they got from me was stolen to add insult and salt in the wound they received another 20% back pay that they did nothing for when I added my dependents. I m so disappointed in this law firm they have false advertising and they don t care about their clients!!!

Said my mothers case for disability was to complicated, she has cancer and several other body hurting disabilities. Dont rely on these money hungry monsters to fight for you. If they see no profit they will not help you. Fund another person to fight for you. They wont even fight for those who are truly disabled, why waste time with them? Reading others complaints, they refuse to help military vets and others in my mothers situations, find a real lawyer firm these guys are a true scam.

At first they seamed liked the firm to go with. The web site has all of the great marketing bells & whistles, webinars all what seams to be a great firm but unfortunately the firm lacks transparency as they are not will to be open with clients which is where they fail. Edit to respond to the reply: your attorney called and opened the call with I have 5 minutes and then have an external appointment and was completely unprepared to provide answers (this was the reason a second call was requested, but your team never actually scheduled the requested, just simply ghosted). Along with leaving this review, I also reached out to your firm via phone and requested an explanation. I am still waiting for return communication from that phone call... Contacted this organization quite some time ago about a possible disability insurance claim and have never met a more incompetent or unprofessional law firm. Literally requested 10 minutes to ask a few questions about the paperwork they sent across once they told me they were interested in litigating my case and the assigned attorney couldnt be bothered to send a formal meeting invite or respect the time slot that was provided. After several no calls/no shows from their attorneys, one of their paralegals reached out and asked why I hadnt yet signed the paperwork to which I explained to her, because no one has answered my questions yet and she stated she would follow up with the attorneys to establish a time to meet. After no communication for over a month, just received a denial email this morning. AVOID!!

I do not recommend this firm, especially if you are a disabled veteran. From the beginning I did not feel like I received the respect or the proper attention that my case required. Throughout my entire case I spoke with my attorney a total of 4 times over the course of a year and a half. Each conversation was very brief with basically no consultation or discussion on how to add value to my case. Furthermore there were multiple changes with representation throughout my case. Each attorney was less professional than the last and all lacked communication skills. I often felt like they were overwhelmed or frustrated with their caseload. Additionally, my assigned attorney missed what I felt was a critical hearing. She gave no explanation or apology, she just went on about it like it was normal. In the mean time my hearing was rescheduled four months later adding stress and uncertainty to my situation. This attorney did nothing to prepare me for the case nor did she add any value at the hearing. She just showed up. My opinion is that you will not receive adequate representation with this firm. I did not feel encouraged because of their lack of professionalism and their unwillingness to fully engage with their clients. Please seek more professional representation.

I handled all of my debates regarding my disability. I reached the point where I could no longer gain any ground. Update: If I could rate with zero (0) stars, I would. Seriously, DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. They never update you on your case, ignore your calls and emails, and hang up on you when you call. They are unprofessional and unreliable. I would never use them again. They seemed great from the start so I really believed in the reviews online. I entrusted two claims with them. However, once I was a client, communication became less and less. Then one of my claims was denied, and I found out they left critical information out! I contacted them about this issue and got no response. Now, Im stuck trying to fend for myself afterwards, and I have no status at all about my other case as well. I would not recommend this firm.

This is meant to be an honest interpretation of my experience utilizing this lawfirm for my SSDI claim. Silver-tongues. Thats what these guys are. They speak professionally and eloquently. They make attempts to be courteous. But they absolutely do not know how to represent their clients. My representations name was Chris Stevenson. I had multiple discussions with them over all of my disabilities. Being that I am rated 100% P&T through the VA already, I had all of the documentation organized and ready to present my case even with past work references. Long story short, my hearing was in November of last year and my attorney was abhorrently late to the hearing! Leaving me without representation blatantly disrespecting myself and the judge and wasting our time. I was respectful to the attorney, however it is unbelievable that an attorney would use any excuse beyond life and limb to be late to a vital hearing. He didnt even take hardly any opportunity to actually represent me during the hearing either, he was quiet for the majority of it.. Do not waste months of your life like I did waiting on these guys to not do their job. Update (25 Jan 2024) I find it interesting that the office responded so quickly when throughout this process I waited days even weeks to speak to someone. That is telling. The attorney was late and even he mentioned it regardless if the ssdi did the reaching out. Point is he could not be reached and left us all waiting. It was unprofessional and even he mentioned this to me. Stop trying to defend how little you all actually did for me. Because I was not represented. Period. It was all a joke and a waste of time. Whatever you want to speak about..you can do it so everyone can read as well. Rather I wont waste my time calling again just to speak to what amounts to a call center relaying me to a voice-mail. Go find better representation yall.

Save yourselves from this law firm! 1. The initial application process was screwed up from the beginning. I had to contact them multiple times, in which they never respond back, about how it has been three months before we even got the initial application off the ground. 2. I went through the whole process of my claim, twelve months, and was approved. However, they had no clue! that I was approved until I sent them an email a month later. lol 3. They try to put the blame on SSA. I had to do all the paper work. Medical records, function report, employment history... all of it. DDS in Austin stated that they have not received anything from this law firm. I tried to contact them, the law firm, but as usual they never respond. EVER!!! So... I decided to do all the work without them. 4. Its not done yet with me! I have contacted SSA Internal Investigation Office and told them about the law firm. They are going to investigate them. I have also contact Congressman Plfuger to tell him about what had happened. They both are going to get all the conversation messages I had with them. 5. They will tell they care and that they are working diligently. However, I did the whole process without them and they had no clue that I did it and won. 6. I have over 400,000 reviewers on Google Reviews, I hope I can save at least one disabled individual from this nightmare. And Lastly...... They will get the chance to respond to my review. They will try to cover all of what I said under their rug and move on to the next sucker. You have been warned! Move on to other law firms and do your research on them.

I would give this firm negative stars if I could. They start off by promising they will be there each step of the way. LIES! Once they do the intake, good luck getting in touch with a live person that actually knows what is going on. I waited months just to speak with the actual attorney because they would schedule meetings and then no show, with no communication, and then they were never available to answer legal questions pertaining to contact with my employer, pressure to return to work, or explaining the process. I called and sent numerous emails to try to resolve issues, but again, no one ever communicated within the firm. I finally sent an email saying I wanted to fire them and they are still contacting me, my doctors and my employer. I had my accident in July and they still have no clue whats going on. This is by far the worst attorney experience and a joke. People are already going through a rough time and they just add misery to the experience. RUN FROM THIS LAW FIRM!

I have been trying to get a hold of my case manager Shelby Thomas for months now, but she never calls back or answers emails. I had an appointment with her months ago but I got pulled into training at work, I tried returning her call and left several voicemails. I emailed her last on 6 Nov and I previously emailed Courtney Martin on 10 Oct but neither responded to me. The last emails I got from either of them were in June. Since both of them are not answering emails or returning calls I am contacting you directly. I got my disability raised from 30% to 60% thanks to your staff. My lawyer stated she was going to submit a request that my sleep apnea and asthma be separated rather than together which would raise my disability from 60 to 70% a few months ago. I have been checking ebenefits to see if my claim has been filed but it has not I am trying to see where my case is. I will say the receptionist Cindy is a nice lady I am surprised she does not know my number by memory by now.

I was pretty excited originally when I contacted this law firm with my case. My intake person was awesome. However after turning in all paperwork that was asked to fill out. I had not heard anything. Needless to say I feel Somehow I fell between the cracks. Was waiting on feedback and information from Bailey. I never received anything. When I called to ask what was going on with my case. I don t think I can recommend. I am honestly very worried about my case. The intake specialist talked up pretty high standards that I have yet to see. I have not seen the follow through & help with anything I was promised from the start. It has been an uphill battle for sure. It is also extremely difficult to communicate with anyone. I m worried about my case because even filing the paperwork social security needs was not done correctly. We are really behind and I still don t feel heard. What is going to happen when it comes to addressing other issues I was assured about during intake that still have not been addressed? (partly because they filed paperwork wrong- but if it goes through, will I be represented properly- a client should not worry about this) Take away: They talk a big game, but their follow through seems to be anything but so far. I don t know if they need more staff or just better ways to communicate. Of all the firms we contacted to help with our disability application, Marc Whitehead & Assoc was by far the best. They have been very responsive, patient, and empathetic. Id like to especially thank Dee Cowap, the Intake Specialist, for taking her time and walking me through every step in the process. She was so friendly that I felt I was talking to a neighbor. Well because of this Law Firm I got a 50% rating after being denied 3 times i was dealing with them since 2014 and got approved 2020 its been a long road but thats not it thanks to this law firm I a year later got a 100% rating after that with no back pay but Marc Whitehead and associates got me my back pay which I thought wasnt even possible all the way back from 2015 ...... Veterans dont give up because its tough it will pay off in a long run ...due to my evidence and everything i thought i would never get approved so ill say if they are willing to take your case then theres a great chance that you will get it dealing with this law firm .... im so thankful for you guys. i feel like i owe you a lot Thanks again. I was denied by the VA, but Shelby and her team won my appeal, and were able to get me 100% VA Disability. I honestly thought it would take longer since I have been battling with the VA since 2014. Very good service and a special shout out to Dee who was very easy to work with, she explained the process in detail, and always returned emails and phone calls. All forms needed to be completed were sent to my home with plenty of time to gather all needed Dr. records, income, work history etc. The only complaint I have is the new app, Case Status they are using instead of email. They do not respond to inquiries, where they always did emails, which are now rejected. Very prompt service, and I had my settlement in just over a year. I highly recommend this firm.

Beginning to be a client requesting SS Disability with Marc Whitehead and Assoc is easy, everyone is pretty quick to respond. The intake person, Kimberly Warren asked me to download an app called Case Status, which I did on 05/23/23. It seemed a simple way to ask questions. I received a two letters from my local SS office, I responded to them and also asked for guidance from my case manager, Bailey Ingram, both via voicemail and via the Case Status app beginning 05/25/23 and 05/31/23. I received a response on 06/02/23 that Bailey had tried to call the local ss office and left a message, and that Bailey would get back to me. I sent another app message on 06/06/23 as Id received another letter from SS saying they would deny my claim if they didnt get information on my health. I know I provided all of that information, including my doctors and contact info. I continued to reach out via voicemail and app 06/07/23, 06/21/23, 06/29/23. I have not heard from anyone at Marc Whitehead and Assoc and my disability claim has been denied. I will have to start the process over with another law firm as soon as I dissolve the contract with this one.

After waiting for several months to receive a response, I was ultimately informed that my case has been dropped. Throughout the process, there has been a noticeable deficiency in communication, with weeks passing before receiving replies to my emails. Despite my repeated inquiries regarding any necessary actions on my part, my requests were consistently denied. As a result of this unsatisfactory experience, I intend to report this law firm through all available channels.

Carla Silva, the most disrespectful woman to answer the phone with this law firm. After waiting over a week for a reply from Monique Muras, whom I spoke with first, I had to call back a week later. After explaining that my matter is urgent her only answer was that I couldn t be transferred as everyone is too busy. She just hung up on a potential client. Horrible service for a big law firm. Neither Monique or Carla are able to transfer you to a manager because of the consequences that can result from a client leaving feedback. Hope you all listen to the recorded lines and recall what you said while speaking on the phone

When I finally conceded that I could no longer work in the profession I endeavored so long and hard to be in, I was angry, scared and very tired. I didnt have any energy to fight with an insurance company. I also appreciated that my years working did not prepare me for what was to come. I knew I needed help and frankly someone to keep me from screaming at the insurance company representatives. Because, the insurance company knows the rules and the letter of the law/contract and they knew that I was basically clueless. Plus, they say the most outlandish things. I made the best decision I could from the onset. I called Marc Whitehead and Associates and started asking questions. I was matched with a team of professionals who have seen a lot. If I could give them zero stars I would. My father hired this firm over a year ago. He has spent most of the last several months in the hospital. I began attempting to contact them while he was on life support and could not advocate for himself. His situation has deteriorated rapidly, he has had heart attacks PLURAL and a stroke. My father requires round the clock care now. We have no insurance and no assistance whatsoever. This firm does not seem to care. They dont call back; they almost never even answer the phone. There has been ONE update in MONTHS. They should have changed their approach when his situation changed, but they have done nothing at all, and I am tempted to call their neglect malpractice. Its unconscionable at a minimum. I am looking into our other options, but, for lack of a better phrase, Buyer Beware.

It s been almost 3 years waiting for Short and Long term disability. They are more focused on getting the most money but filing your claim on the very last day of each appeal. It s really sad how they are suppose to help the disabled but I feel they take advantage of us in our time of need. You ask for a call back because no one answers their phone and they want to the reason. I m so unhappy with this law firm the worse decision I ever made.

This was by far not a short or fun experience. However, there were a few people that made the process much more bearable. First Kimberly Warren was with me through the entire process. Even when I was given a new case worker, I requested that she remain on my case because she always listened, was compassionate, you never felt like just a number, rather a human being going through a very difficult time. I know she got tired of listening to me over the last almost 3 years but she always treated me like I was the only person she had to worry about. And I know that is far from the truth. I can t say enough good things about her, the way she conducts herself, the way she continually communicates with you, and in general, the compassion she showed me. I didn t have a very long relationship with Crystal Perez, but the time I did have her on my case she was very pleasant, always returned calls and or emails, and if she didn t know the answer would find it and get back to me as soon as possible. Finally, I had the pleasure of working with Britney McDonald. Again, my conversations with her were few but when it came down to prepare for the hearing before the judge she made sure I was well informed and knew what to expect. And just like Kimberly, Britney gave you that feeling that she genuinely cared about you as a person going through a difficult time and was very thorough in explaining the process and what would happen. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because my first case worker (who s no longer there thank goodness) was an incompetent person who didn t care about his job or the people he was supposed to be helping. In my case, he didn t even submit half the documents I obtained for him to social security. Of course we didn t find out that until I was denied the first time. That s when Kimberly really went the extra mile and communicated with me until she made sure everything was properly uploaded in my file and submitted as it should have been originally. Unfortunately this guy is the reason I didn t give 5 stars. He didn t care about me, his job, or anyone apparently and in turn made things very frustrating for me as I had to go through my file with Kimberly to see what was and wasn t submitted. It should have been done right the first time. I realize people make mistakes but this was flat incompetence! But Britney, Kimberly, and Crystal all deserve 5 stars for sure! I would highly recommend Marc Whitehead and Associates to anyone without hesitation.
