The service I received was good, but unless there is insurance to pursue, he wont take your case. Disappointing, but Im getting the impression that most attorneys will not pursue responsible parties without an insurance claim. Reply to Owner: Im seeing your reply to my Google review. I appreciate that poor reviews are disappointing, but please try to appreciate my situation. Your assistant returned my call stating that there was nothing that could be done because there was no insurance to pursue and sorry. This was the entirety of the information I was given, so without further explanation, it follows that this was the sole reason you chose not to take my case. If there was additional information for the rationale to turn down the case, it was not provided to me. I dont know how you know that the dog owners do not have more than $100,000 in assets, nor do I understand how you concluded that the apartment complex where this occurred is not culpable for any damages incurred. Im sorry you feel this rating does not reflect the respect and honest explanation you claim you gave me, but the honest explanation you provided does not reflect respect in itself. My rating is my experience with your business and is nothing more.

My case was quite odd as I was hit head on while riding my bicycle by another cyclist. It was so crazy that while I was sitting on the ground with a broken collarbone and contusions I asked the man if he was the one that hit me. He replied that it was him and he was sorry he wasnt paying attention. I spent the afternoon in the ER then had surgery a week later. In between the accident and surgery I got in contact with Patrick OHara to ask if I had a case since it was a negligent cyclist that hit me. He said we did have a case. Patrick and Esther made this so easy. Everything was done online or via phone. OHara law firm really took care of me and kept me up to date with any news on the case. Patrick was able to negotiate far more money than I ever thought possible in a very short window. I had my settlement check after only 4 months. We did go to mediation and thats when I got to see Patrick in action. He is really good at what he does, very good! I am amazed at how easily this all happened in such a short time frame and would recommend OHara law firm to everyone! In closing, huge thank you to Patrick and Esther for making this so easy for me. Since most people only read the beginning of reviews, here is the gist of it: CALL THIS FIRM! Like, now. You will not regret it. My family and I were involved in a hit and run several years ago. We followed the vehicle long enough to get the plate number and contact the police. To make a very long story short, the person who hit us apparently did have insurance, but the insurance company went bankrupt after the accident. Because of that and the fact that our insurance company was refusing to compensate for the damages/injuries, we had no help in paying for our totaled vehicle, or the doctors bills for the injuries we received in the accident. I am not familiar whatsoever with the work involved in getting these situations resolved, but I will say this: They did not disappoint. Esther told me from the very beginning that these kinds of cases can take a long, long time to resolve. She was right - this incident happened in late 2017 and was just resolved this month. She told me that even though there may be periods of time between contact, to rest assured that they were still working on the case. I received a few phone calls throughout the process to update me, which I appreciated very much. Esther explained what was happening, and she was very patient when I asked her questions. Because of Esther and the OHara Law Firm team, our bills were paid, and we received a settlement for our injuries. Our family is forever grateful. Thank you so, so much!

Patrick O Hara was the best choice we made during a very difficult time. My husband was in a serious auto accident in July 2022. Someone T-boned him while speeding through a red light. His injuries were a fractured sternum, pelvis, and femur along with a hand sized hematoma on the opposite knee. The other driver walked away without a scratch. My spouse was left with surgery to repair the femur with a rod, a 10 day stay in the hospital, a totaled car and several months of rehab and recovery. As of March 2023, he is still working to build back muscle and his strength. Knowing we d need an attorney, we reached out during the hospital stay to a lawyer friend who knew Patrick. Rather than take my case, my friend spoke highly of Patrick s superb legal expertise, unquestionable character and recommended him without hesitation. That same day, Patrick was kind enough to break away from his family to spend a lengthy amount of time on the phone with us explaining the process and answering all of our questions. By the end of the conversation, we believed he had the skills, knowledge and our best interest at heart so we decided to hire him and have not regretted it since. The O Hara Law Firm operates as a team. For routine matters we dealt with his long time Legal Assistant Esther Davis who is extremely competent handling medical claims. The claims process is complex and at times we were skeptical due to our lack of knowledge of the process. After talking with Patrick or Esther about a particular issue they would provide additional details and any skepticism was eliminated based on their expertise, explanation of the process and sound advice. During every step of the way either Patrick or Esther was available to listen and answer our questions. They were both excellent negotiating the difficult waters with the insurance companies when the myriad of claims can become so confusing. We could not have been more pleased with their knowledge of the laws surrounding medical claims which resulted in the insurance companies reducing their claims and keeping more money in our pocket. In summary, The O Hara Law Firm is extremely competent in the medical claims process, listens and shows compassion to their clients, and exhibits strong moral character. Mr. Ohara accepted a case where Hire a helper and Zippy Shell ran into and knocked down, with their truck, two trees larger than 12 inches in diameter. Neither company was accepting responsibility for the damages despite abundant documentation and pieces of the truck left on my drive. Mr. Ohara did an incredible job tracking down the responsible parties and holding them accountable. In this day and time where accepting responsible, being accountable and service can be scarce commodities, Mr. Oharas services were invaluable. I cant speak for how well they do their job, for all I know they are a fantastic law firm. That being said I reviewed their article on dangerous dog breeds and not only does it almost exclusively target rottweilers, which yes can be dangerous, but it takes information from polls taken in the late 1900s that are used in articles from the year 2000. The piece then takes that same data and twists it to suit its needs. I would much rather prefer a more updated piece, using more updated data, that uses straight facts and bot twisted ones.
