Had a car accident around May 2020. My car got totaled because someone else ran a red light and hit me. Got this Group recommended by someone who had a case here before and everything seemed fine. The very first 6-8 months Doctors and clinics were attentive and Michelle who was assigned to inform my case, kept me updated every 2 weeks. The bills came up and I got in collections later and they told me it was going to be fine because they were waiting on reductions from the doctors/clinics bills. Around February 2021 they stopped updating me like the case never existed. No more callbacks, no more message no more information towards the case, I made more than 20 calls, voice messages and still no answer back. No information to this date like the case never existed. Still in collections hold until they solve but seems a bit suspicious now, Michelle never answered back. If I ever get in accident again I would not choose this Groups as my attorney ever again. Not a great experience. Seemed liked it was going to be great when I started the process in person with one of the experienced partners. I chose this firm from a friends referral. I dont know who Justin is relation to in the firm, but I can only assume hes there by nepotism. Over the phone hes confusing and unclear. He doesnt seem to understand common sense things. When my case was passed on to him, my Hollins experience went right downhill. I had to call one of the partners 1/2 way through just to vent and get a proper update. And he intimated that other people are constantly frustrated with him as well. I had to continuously follow up and basically tell Justin how to do his job. At one point I literally had to tell him to schedule a meeting with something court related. He asked me if I wanted him to do that. Yes. Yes, I would like you to do your job. I hired a law firm because law and injuries are not my expertise. I would NEVER put one of my clients through this level of friction. Out of probably 20 interactions with him, I was frustrated every single time. Now that the case is finally settled, theyre taking their cut off of the top, instead of paying out the medical bills and then taking fees. This is on me. I let my guard down and didnt thoroughly read the contract. I was under the belief that fees were taken AFTER medical bills negotiated. Many years ago, I was previously cut off by a car in a motorcycle accident (luckily I wasnt injured too badly that time), and that lawyer took their fee, AFTER medical. Its a pretty shady system where injured clients can potentially get nothing, while your firm makes good money. Especially on a case where they settled the MAJORITY out of court. For example, If an insurance settlement is $100k, Doc bills are $66k, they take $33k (assuming no court) off the top and youll literally get nothing. Again, its on me for not paying close enough attention. Im not going to say I was misled, because frankly this started near 2 years ago and I dont directly remember what was said. But between these fee expectations being wrong and having to deal with copious amounts of frustration from our interactions, Id never recommend this firm to anyone. They are making a significant more amount of money from my injury than I am. Which just seems backwards. And my settlement is less than the original medical bills. I can only hope that I dont need additional surgeries or care in the future, and if I do, hopefully I can get negotiated down prices. Because if I do, Im on my own here. And people act like getting an injury settlement is worth going through pain. I had to go through amounts of pain that were unbearable at times for many months. The surgery seems to be a success, but Ive been more sore lately than I have been in a while. So hopefully it stays effective. And regardless, Ill never go back to doing Krav Maga (I was at 5 times a week before the accident). Not trying to make a pitty party, but context is important. Now, the fact is they did win the case and do the work. Which is why I gave them 2 stars. But to be fair, my case was cut and dry. I was rear end while I was at a stop, by a driving doing full speed, never braking. I had to have back surgery in order to not be in life destroying pain. Any lawyer could have sealed the deal on this case. The insurance buckled the second they saw my surgery bill. Is what it is.

Its been over a year since my accident and I am still uncertain of what is going on with my case. Not once have they contacted me or kept me in the loop with what is going on with my case. I have had to hound them down to get updates and theyre always telling me something different. I have to literally call them 3-5x before anyone returns my phone call. They have been very unprofessional with how theyve managed my case. I am currently looking into different options with another attorney due to the lack of service I have received with this group.

These guys are the best! No joke, the first time i didnt know what to expect. Infact i was scared of this whole lawsuit process. Insurance, statements, doctors and documents. They walked me though everything and explained everything piece by piece. I didnt need to do much either they took care of everything. Specifically Ryan is the guy to talk to. Do not go to this attorney. I had a car accident almost 2 years ago. I hired them. A whole year without knowing anything. Then they would never call me. In the end, they moved my case to another attorney just for that attorney to tell me that they cant do anything on my case. Not only that, they made me go to therapy for 1-2 months and made me get injected. For at the end to tell me theres nothing we can do for you. Save your time and go to another attorney.
