It s a very cool park with lots of trees surrounded by. Lots of sitting areas available. They have separate sections for 2 years old and 5 years older. They have bike trails and skate trails. The parking area is not too big. Lots of butterflies and squirrels around there. The swings and slide looks kind of old and rusty though with full of spiders. It s a good place where you can sit down and relax peacefully but remember to watch your kiddos because there are many spiders on the slides. Playground: Separate sections for 2 years and 5 years Picnic area: They have lot of space for picnic

We always have a good time here!! Especially on the nature trail! Walking through the woods reminds me of being back home in the country!! Its a great place to get away from the busyness of city life and to clear your head!! The only thing you have to worry about back there are the bike riders zooming by ya!! But everyone respects each other and moves out of the way!! Playground: Nice clean playground!! Dog-friendliness: Theres not a lot to do with dogs, but we always take out dog on the trail with us!! Hr loves it!! Picnic area: Nice picnic area! They have some tables there, and they even have fans that run during the summer to give you a nice place to cool down after playing!!

Nice park with a lot of shade, two playground areas for big kids and little kids, a small skateboard area, and a trail with various exercise equipment throughout. The only issue is that the parking area is not very big and there isnt really a convenient place to park nearby if the parking is full.

I have 5 little ones ages 11 to 3 and this is one of our favorite parks. They have 2 playgrounds, one for smaller kids and the other is for older kids. It also has a small skate park and walking/running trails. There is tons of trees for shade and picnic tables and benches for sitting. The only downside to this park is there are no bathrooms. Dog-friendliness: Bring your own bags

Lots of trees for shade, atleast 3 playgrounds for kids. Needs maintenance to remove of leaf and soil debris. Some slides are cracked in near half potentially leading to huge scratches on back or bellies, or fingernail loss from kids sliding down them and getting caught in it. After proper maintenance, it would be a great place to stay cool for a park visit with kids.

How did I not know that this was here it is beautiful! Ample parking, friendly locals who smile and wave which is some thing I truly miss coming from a small town to a big city. This place doesn t even seem to be part of Houston at all it s like a small town in and of itself. Just beautiful. Safe, well lit, bike and skate areas , walking/hiking trails, totally kid friendly there s even places for kids to play around on, and best of all fishing! I did not bring my fishing rod today so I ll have to update this review whenever I ve had a chance to see what all I can catch here.

This is a great park because of the shade! The swings are also covered so during a light rain this is still a viable outdoor location. Awesome little track. Can send the kids on laps. Do a little jog yourself. Lots of picnic tables under on large gazebo. So e equipment has been abused though so the park is showing its age. Overall fun times for the kids. Also they have a 12ft climbing wall (its more a ladder than a climbing thing) Parking super limited only down side. Also dont remember any barbecue pits.

In Houston, a park with shade is worth gold. We frequent this park because it has a play area for small children, a play area for older children a small skate park and a trail. It also has a very large covered pavilion with many tables and exercise equipment around the perimeter of the park on the walking trail if thats your thing! The park also backs up to a very large trail system that is very nice as well. Parking is very limited.

I found this park googling skate parks near me, and its a hidden gym! Three kids and they each had something to do! Tball, roller skates, and a bike on the ramps and the sidewalks that do a big circle around the playground. Toddler and the older kid playground were a plus. They have a bike trail through the woods, and it was a peaceful spot with plenty of families, so it felt safe.
