La Gala Banquet Hall was a life saver! After our original venue canceled 2 days before the event, we were in a state of panic. Thankfully, Ruben at La Gala stepped in and truly saved the day. From the moment I contacted them, they were incredibly accommodating and understanding of our situation. They quickly arranged everything, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The day of the event the staff was very attentive and professional, even helping with the setup. The team at La Gala went above and beyond and I am incredibly grateful for their dedication and excellence. They turned what could have been a disaster into a beautiful outcome.

Had my daughter Quinceañera at La Gala Banquet Hall this past weekend everything came out awesome. I want to Thank Ruben and Lala for helping us organize our special event . Not only there prices met my needs, but they went over and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our special night. The cake was beautiful,decorations were beautiful,hall was very organized , waiters and bartenders were very helpful and there was plenty of parking . They even allowed my daughter to have her entrance with her horse that made her dream come true. We had our wedding here on 12/9/23 it was a bit of a headache through out the process which could have been a lot better being that the night of the wedding my husband & guests were the ones who had to move a lot of what the bartenders were supposed to do when it came time to go from the ceremony to the dinner we were not pleased with this whatsoever & not to mention the bartenders were giving out HOT BEER. Sadly, we are still waiting for our videos & pics which I have texted the photographer multiple times who is not good at responding as I have to double text just to get a response our pics aren t ready. This whole experience with this hall was so stressful the day of they gave my dad & family a hard time when trying to take over the beers, & other necessities the morning of. I personally don t think I d rent here again it s a beautiful hall but not worth the stress.

I ve been dreaming of the day I saw my twin girls dancing in their quinceañera dresses. The girls were born 10 weeks early, weighing 1lb 14oz and 4lbs 3oz and are my miracle babies! When I called Ruben (co-owner of La Gala) and explained what we needed, he gave me amazing options and met every single one of our needs the day of the party (3/15/2024). The banquet hall is spacious, clean, and beautiful. The dance floor is enormous and the stage was perfect for the band (which we saw practicing there while we setup and just had to book them!). I would recommend this hall to anyone. The staff is very helpful and made the twins night special!

I really do not leave reviews! I read them but when I did my research on a hall to plan my daughter Quince. I remembered this hall!! I said if this hall can stay the same name and stay open after so many years even through Covid they must be doing something right! Lala worked with me and communicated with me about everything! Working with Ruben, his sister Sylvia and his staff was an awesome experience, they always made us feel at home. The hall is by far the best I found when I was searching for one. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, new flooring and the A/C worked wonderfully. It was clean, plenty bathroom stalls, private room with bathroom, even had our hair and makeup done right on site, that for me was a major plus. The cake (in photo) was the best I had tasted, exceptional service and I think the price for the square footage was perfect. If you are looking for everything I mentioned above look no further and give Ruben a call I promise you won t regret it. Blessings

I came here for my friends wedding, it was quite beautiful. However, coming from a person who s into design, the bathrooms were not the best looking compared to a bunch of other venues I ve gone to. Most weddings, quinces, etc. have a theme that goes with colors like grey, white, etc. So why the weird mustard color? The ceiling of the whole place definitely needs some remodeling for the tiles are kind of dirty and out of place. I absolutely adored the food and the fabric around the chandelier with the lights in it. If your looking for a not so expensive venue this it it, just keep in mind the bathrooms aren t the best and the outside isn t either.

The place is a nice size, and is somewhat decorated. You dont have to do a lot, as far as elegance. They just need more parking and to pave the parking lot. I wasnt saying it wasnt decorated. It was absolutely, gorgeous. But I know the decor for this particular event was done by the event host. I was saying that the building has its own simple elegance, and doesnt require a lot of anything else. As fat as the parking, it was packed on both sides. Im dont know the size of the lot, but I pulled in on the larger side first, and there wasnt even room to turn around. It was packed to the max.

A long time resident of Aldine pasted away and his family needed a place to have his Celebration of Life after his funeral service today. Ive had both of my daughters partys there. One quince and one sweet16th. My cousin just had her daughters quince there too. Its big enough and love the dance floor. Outside parking was dirty. There was stuff in kitchen left around counters that we were not supposed to use or wed be charged. This past Sunday My Father, my wife and I held a memorial in celebration of my mothers life. Who passed away at 63 years old and married to my father of 36 years. The warmth and understanding that Ruben and his family extended to my own family is beyond words, their generosity was from a place of genuine respect and regard for not only a family in grief but a family that wanted to try and convey to those who would be in attendance a celebration for the life of a woman whose heart reflected values of their own. First when you are at a party and your shy but want to dance, they cant because your lighting was so bright no on wanted to get up and dance. Then when the DJ was asked to play certain music it was mostly ignored. No one felt hyped to dance and the music was mostly older stuff, slow and boring. Then we were charged $6 a small pitcher of ice and $3.50 per small bottle 8 oz of cranberry juice because its BYOB but you had no set ups other than that and no one could bring there own. This on top of the amount of money the hall cost to rent. This is just my opinion of my experience, now I will say it was a nice hall and it was clean.

If I could give La Gala Banquet Hall along with Reuben and his mom more than 5 stars, I would. Not only is the facility a beautiful space, but the professionalism experienced by me and my fiancé was without question exceptional. The journey to having our wedding ceremony was a long one due to COVID-19. We initially were scheduled to have our ceremony on March 21, 2020. That was the very week, the Governor assessed statewide closures. I am sure you can imagine the stress and disappointment that came along with the closures. From the moment we were forced to make changes, Reuben was extremely helpful and flexible with us finding a date that would accommodate both parties. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, La Gala Banquet Hall implemented many changes to ensure the safety of their customers and guest. These increased safety measures provided an extra level of security and alleviated some of the stress of my big day. There are so many things done so graciously by Reuben and his mom to make this one of the best experiences of our lives. Our wedding came and went without a hitch. The day was a great celebration of love with family and friends. The entire experience was a beautiful. It is no doubt that Reuben and La Gala Banquet Hall contributed greatly to the success of the day. Where do I begin? So my spouse and I where seeking for a venue to have our wedding. It became a little discouraging because of time frame and we couldn t seem to find what we were looking for. So I began to randomly search on Facebook market for venues and I ran across La Gala Banquet Hall. I was so impressed by the photos I saw of precious events I couldn t wait to show it to my fiancé . Keep in mind my spouse to be was out of town so we virtually came into agreement. I scheduled an appointment to view the property I loved it. I walked in to a cleaning crew mopping floors and handling business that was definitely a plus for me. The parking lots a huge the entrance was a luxurious look I knew the limos would look fantastic. The bridal suite was so personal and intimate. The venue is super clean and spacious. My hugest concern was the kitchen and restroom I believe this both are very essential well the kitchen was very good exactly what was needed the restrooms were huge very sanitary with huge mirrors just what ladies would love. I love that there are two passage ways to restroom it helps avoid over crowding. I loved the bar we were allowed us access although we served no liquor by choice .

La Gala Banquet Hall is definitely like no other hall in the Houston area. This hall is beautiful from driving up to the front doors then entering and seeing all the way Mr Longoria and staff has beautified this building is jaw dropping amazing. Everyone in my party we re in awe the way the set up was and is. And even threw is pandemic the staff set up the table for social distancing which was not a issue cause we still had enough room for everyone.
