I want to share my amazing experience at this place. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Josh provided great recommendations and had a genuine enthusiasm for his job. They have special tequilas for October and Anthonys energy was contagious, making us want more than one shot! The atmosphere was great, with a chic barrio feel and plenty of seating inside and on the indoor patio. The smaller open back patio was calm and intimate, but be mindful not to order too much due to limited space. Were excited to go back for the cumbia band tonight. Now, lets talk about the food. The salsa had a good kick and flavor, which set a positive tone. We tried the seafood dip, which was enjoyable but could use a bit more flavor. The Arrechera Poblano was bursting with flavor, and the cilantro rice was perfect. We also tried the new Pinchos Surf and Turf, which was a delightful combination of steak and shrimp on skewers tossed in chimichurri. Overall, I cant wait to drive back and try something else from the menu!

We went on last evening. As we entered, I noticed how bright it was. Which indeed was a good thing. The decor is very pretty. The service was good. The food on the other hand...was excellent! My honey ordered the Lamb Chop dinner and I had the Shrimp Brochette along with a couple of margaritas. This restaurant will be added to our list to visit again. Did I mention the Shrimp Brochette were cooked to my perfection and the Lamb Chops were very tender.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and overall it has been a satisfactory experience. However, I have noticed some inconsistencies in their dishes. For example, the meats, even if you order them medium rare, are brought to you very cooked. In my opinion, these meats are pre-cooked in advance, which gives them an unpleasant flavor that is not worthy of being enjoyed in a high-end restaurant like this. This restaurant was designed and contemplated to present haute cuisine dishes, but they are forgetting how important it is to respect the cooking terms of their meats. Today was the worst experience I have ever had at this place. Everything was almost a fiasco. The meats were overcooked like you have no idea. It is neither fair nor acceptable that they offer meats cooked to their whim and not to the customers taste. Presenting this quality to diners is unacceptable. On the other hand, the service has always been phenomenal. There is no doubt that they are the best in this regard. I congratulate you on your excellent customer service.

We enjoyed our d8nner here when we were in Houst9n staying the night before we flew out to Belize. The food was awesome our waiter was very quick and polite. They have this green salsa that was good could not try their red because we were told the ran out for the day. Birriadillas were delicious! Unfortunately the Spanish rice smelled spoiled. Several people at the table all said the same thing and no one was eating it. Our waiter wasn t very good seemed combative and not very courteous. The decor and vibe is really nice. The AC was blasting top notch to the point where it was actually uncomfortable. The music was good but TOO loud for people to speak without yelling across the table. Bathroom must have recently been doused with bleach because that s all I could smell, eyes burning, and then everything after that smelled like bleach glad I waited to go after eating.

Very nice place but nothing to do with how the food looks I ordered a pasta for my daughter and shrimp on the side and they had a bad taste as the quesadillas were damaged with the burnt tortilla and it was left unmelted and had a bad taste we ordered lemons like 5 times each The waitress, the steak tasted bitter because they let it burn and out of pity we didnt say anything, we just paid and left, just as they care about the place looking nice and clean, they should care about how the food tastes, which is what really matters.

Michelle and David are amazing! My husband and I came here for both of our birthdays and the service, atmosphere and food are amazing. They are always happy to take our pictures and even bring our birthday cake out singing happy birthday! Their happy hour menu is to die for!! We ve ordered almost everything on the menu. Order a medium rare steak , steak came out well done and hard to chew. The young lady who waited on us was really sweet, and a great server. They were pretty busy but spent over $100 my steak should have been way better. Very disappointed in the food. Maybe its just good for hangout and drinking. Oh and the tres leches was stale. How ? Surf & Turf 7/10. The ribeye lacked in seasoning however, the cook was a perfect medium rare (which I don t mind)even though I asked for it to be medium. The mash was too plain and lumpy for my liking. Asparagus and shrimps were perfect. Luigi Steak husband gave it a 7/10. Said the steak lacked seasoning, he poured lobster bisque on top of it. He enjoyed everything else. Lobster Bisque 9/10 even my 1 yr old son couldn t get enough even tho it had a little kick of spice for a one year old lol. Could have been a perfect 10, BUT the little garlic bread was not toasted all the way leaving some pieces soggy. Crème brûlée 10/10. Absolute perfection. Tres Leches 6/10. The cake was WAY too dense. Michelada 3/10. The mix was not good. Didn t taste like a traditional homemade michi. Queso 8/10. The consistency was a little too thick. The chips were kind of old, I had multiple that were stale. We ordered a full queso appetizer but the waitress didn t put it in. Once we inquired about it, another staff member gave us a little sample of it so we could at least try it. Service 4/10. When ordering, we felt rushed. I wasn t even finished ordering and waitress took off. I went the whole meal without my water refilled. It was my only drink. We were given our food by someone else, and never checked up by our waitress until it was too late. The girls mannerisms were very nice, she tried. The real heroes were a random bartender and another waitress who we had to flag down. They were both very polite and helpful. Decor is very modern but it looked like a tóxica s dream lol. I can imagine it s most appealing to people who like to listen to rregeton like bad bunny. Personally, it s not my type but it s cool if you re into that crowd.

We had been wanting to check out Tequila 45 since we saw it on Instagram. The decor is very nice and the establishment is very well kept and very clean. Very pretty place, bright and colorful. The menu has a great and broad selection of food. Not just the normal tacos and fajitas. The food and flavor combinations was well thought out and presented on the plate elegantly. The red salsa is smokey and spicy. The green salsa is a little milder and both had a good flavor to them. The chimichurri was excellent. The Beef Rib was tender and the chicken nicely marinated. Both plates was very delicious.

I have gone several times. The first time it was a busy Friday night and everything was excellent....except the chips were a bit stale. I have gone several times during the dinner and everything has been okay. Ive gone during the week for lunch and I was very surprised that not many customers were inside. 8/4 5pm was reserved for about 1 month for a dinner party...well it was the worst ever, with the food and with the service. Slow at bringing tea. Food was not hot enough. Tortillas were raw and cold. I ate a piece of plastic that was in the salsa. Slow at bringing the check. We had to go upfront to pay. Then one of friends got sick from the food. Its such a nice restaurant...I dont want it to close!!!. Our dinner lasted from 5pm to 730pm ...we only expected to stay 1.5 hours....they need lots of improvement.

I went to the place expecting it to be nice and it wasnt. THE WAITRESS called KIMBERLY (Honduran) served us very poorly, it took her more than 30 minutes to simply give us the menu. We booked for a birthday and everything on their part was with bad faces, bad responses and bad attitude towards me and those who were present. We went to receive good service and we did not have a good time on their part. Besides, he started talking to his colleagues, criticizing our table, which was upset, when in reality his job is to respectfully serve us as diners who pay for our service... SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!! TERRIBLE STAFF. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SERVE THE PUBLIC AS YOU SHOULD, FIND ANOTHER WORKPLACE. MOST OF ALL YOUR KIMBERLY! Last time Im going to eat at this restaurant, it has good food and nice facilities but the service from the waitress was terrible, she spoke to me very rudely from the beginning, 20 minutes to bring the drink, the food took 40 minutes to arrive, I asked her for a takeout box and he forgot he never brought it and I left leaving the food there.

Its actually very good. Came here just tonight, and the atmosphere is really cool. Very open floor, and the colors are striking, but very nice to look at. Service was just a little bit slow but not bad. My server was nice and accommodating. The foods kind of pricey, but it tastes great, and you get a good sized portion of it. It also looks great. I wanted to take a picture, but I wanted to eat it more. It stays very true to authentic Mexican food, which I appreciate. Try this great place sometime!

This was absolutely one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in Houston. I ll start off with their atmosphere which was very modern Mexican with tones of photo opportunities from a huge Freida Calo mural to a life size heart of flowers! Their service was incredibly warm and hospitable from the moment we walked in. Our server(s) were amazing and always coming to the table checking in on us. And lastly their food and drinks were really amazing. I got the lamb chops and loved it in addition to their aqua fesca cocktail which was super refreshing. Went today to have lunch with family and was very disappointed . Was sat immediately upon arrival but Waited about 20-35 minutes for someone to take our drink orders, I finally gave up and left the restaurant. Mind you there were other tables being fully taken care of. I understand being understaffed for short periods of time but the staff took orders from Atleast 3 other tables that were sat after us . We were looking for a place to have breakfast & this one caught my eye passing by off the feeder. Walking up to the restaurant I noticed the design & decorations of the building & it excited me. Walking in though youre given a burst of color so many things here just catch your eye. It was all so beautiful & all the bouquets at the tables are real roses. Once youre in here you know to expect AUTHENTICITY AT ITS FINEST. & That is EXACTLY what we got, this place is incredible the food was delicious, the coffee stayed hot till the very end. The atmosphere is unique, inviting, & leaves you knowing this is morning just wait till its nighttime. We will definitely be coming back & bringing more ppl with us. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. It came out quick and hot. The salsas with the chips were phenomenal. Our drinks were nice and strong. The drinks were beautifully decorated. The Pina colada had a touch of cinnamon or something but it is probably the best I have ever had. The calamari had a great coating with a sweet Chilli sauce. The quesabirria was perfect and consume had enough heat to it. I am definitely coming back to try more stuff.

Get the amazing QuesoBirria tacos but with Flour tortillas (they ll try to talk you into the corn tortillas but the flour tortilla is much, much better - trust me!). I know it can get busy at this place, but I have gone when there is only a handful of customers. Service still takes a while even for drinks. The food itself was okay, no complaints there. But nothing too special. The main complaint is the lack of service. They tend to disappear and take forever when you need something. Inviting and fun Ambience upon walking in. Restaurant is pretty big. Has an outside sitting area which reminds me of a beer garden. The inside has a bar with beautiful black and white tiles along the bottom. The place is lit with a few chandeliers and a lovely mural of Frida Kahlo. Read that the chef is from Mexico City and the food was really good. The drinks were well mixed and we walked in, just in time to enjoy an hour of their happy hour. This place is close to home so this is our new happy hour spot.
