Its not fancy but I didnt want fancy. I wanted a spot where I could sit quietly with a beer and my laptop. I found that at The Royal Pour, sitting in the back room for about an hour, sipping my lager and pounding away at some emails. A power outlet and wifi, I stayed until some guys arrived and started shooting pool loudly. That was sort of my signal to move on. Beer was cheap, the bar is nice, the bartender was nice too. Parking: A few parking spaces in front, more around the back but read the signs to ensure youre in the right spot.

Cute little neighborhood dive bar! Chris doing Karaoke was great! Patrons were friendly! Bathrooms were clean! BUT MARSHALL behind the Bar absolutely STILE THE SHOW FOR US!! He was FANTASTIC and sooo much FUN! Really livened the entire place up!!! LOVE HIM! Coming back just if for nothing else than to have a few cocktails and chit chat with him and soak in some of his fun energy!!

Don t really leave reviews a lot, but man I had to this time. I want to give Marshall the bartender high praise, I ve came a few times in the past & Marshall has always done right with the drinks, as well as brining to the good atmosphere of the bar. Always makes me feel welcomed thanks to Marshall. The bar is great & there s always good people here but if you need reason, it s to meet Marshall the bartender.

Karaoke Tuesday Thursday and Saturday There were 25 Tuesday March 14th. Some people it was just having fun. Some of us were showing off . It was LIT! July 11th light night only a few singers but it was fun . There were some good singers. Its airways a good time.

Since I reside near the area, I decided to come check this place out. Drinks are amazingly priced especially during happy hr. The food is all homemade here, like I got mozzarella sticks and theyre so fresh. Amazingly good. Took a min to cook but i am ALWAYS ok with waiting for quality food Atmosphere is a dive bar and I love me some dive bars. Come check this place out. Found a new hangout

The food is great, the bartender Marshall is even better. But the belligerent management AKA charity is completely out of line. I personally been in the Bar business for over 20 years me and my family has never endured so much disrespect from a belligerent management and all my life. Take your business elsewhere. This is the worst place I have ever been to as a European, good educated person. The bartender Is not doing his job right. He is trying to double charge people for bills they have already paid he starts to try to rip off people. I came by a couple weeks ago as I needed to kill some time. I got there and it was good. I ordered a draft but then realized the happy hour was on bottles and my draft was double the price. I feel like 99% of customers would appreciate being told about the happy hour or price difference when nothing is clearly posted. Sherri, the bar tender , does not protect the bats name at all . Nor, the customers. She lets the younger crowd disrespect the older people. They make fun of us because of our lack of knowledge of new technology. And she takes sides. Especially if the tip is big enough . Ask her what her big tip was monday night. The night a customer was humiliated and she defended the suspect . Only because of her tip. Im never going when shes there.

This is one of those strip mall bars that are for locals and people who want an authentic feel, great food, and reasonable prices. Its near Lakewood playing fields. We were attending a womens Rugby tournament. Turned out to be a perfect place for a light food and a few beers for the folks who didnt have a game after. Diversity friendly in every sense. Just everyone being themselves and being welcome to be.

I have been coming to this Bar for 6 years now and I have to say this is my home bar. Great staff and wonderful patrons who are very sociable and friendly. Nice that they have a patio to sit and mingle with others, Tvs inside and out, Hot food, Karaoke, jukeboxes and yummy Drinks. I have gained a lot of friendships whom are now family to me since coming into the RP. I feel very safe and relaxed when I come in. Charity, Marshall, Angie, Nate and Sheri are all amazing and thank you for everything yall do. Keep up the amazing work.

The karaoke here is excellent. Lots of good singers and the way the rotation just keeps cycling through people instead of having to continually add your name to the list. Nate & Charity are the best! Very relaxed atmosphere with great bartenders. Drinks are incredibly reasonable in price. Had a tasty frozen marg and a fantastic bloody mary for $9.50 total (That MIGHT get you one cocktail across Peavy). Menu isnt large but the cooks put in extra effort to put it a tier above generic frozen bar food. Seasoning on anything fried was great since the cooks add in extra herbs. The people posting negative reviews because they were towed trying to go to another establishment should feel bad. Dont knock this owners livelihood because you were in a rush to get to brunch.

Went to a get together there last Saturday evening, we had driven up from the hill country southwest of Austin. When we arrived the General Manager greeted us at the door almost. We introduced ourselves and she said her name was Charity. Although weve never been there before we were greeted and treated like we were customers that have been going there for years. If I could give this bar 5 negative stars I would. Gross bar, bad service, and my car got towed by the company who works with the bar to ruin your night and the next day. Response to the comment below: I personally know the other store owners in the area and have it on good authority you havent taken the steps to rent that specific parking lot to other owners. I have also seen the tow driver trucks parked at your bar. You serve the drinks, food, and give them easy business. Stop lying. Ive lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years youre not fooling anybody.

Charles Bukowski would be proud. Look, Buk hung out in much seedier places. This place is clean. Royal Pour just has that vibe. Maybe it was that a friend was in from out of town and we were having our first cocktail at 2:30 in the afternoon. The place was near perfect: dark inside, backlit bar, a good drink. There have a pool table, jukebox and food; what more could you ask? Ill go back and eat, then well see. Meantime, give em a shot and see what you think. Parking can be a deal. Look round back if the front is full. Or the parking at the end of the alley.

Fun, friendly and casual atmosphere with plenty of entertainment options which include karaoke, pool, darts, a jukebox and dance floor. If youre a sports fan there are big screen tvs both inside and outside the bar on the covered patio. You can park in front of the bar or swing around the alley and park in back and come in thru that entrance. Karaoke is on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. It packs quite a crowd, especially on Thursday night I noticed. The bartender Angel is friendly, quick and highly efficient.

Had a lot of fun, they were not at all stingy on the drinks, they were very accomedating when it came to the mass amounts of pizza that was there for the party, the band seemed to have no sound issues while playing, and everyone was having a great time.
