Let me first state that, up until this time, I was not a fan of attorneys. I was severely injured at work to date, requiring two major surgeries. Almost two years into this nightmare, I was assigned my fourth adjuster, and what a nightmare it has been! They cut off my pay and refused to pay mileage reimbursement for treatments or even answer phone calls and emails. I finally gave in on a Saturday night after facing eviction. Bill Abbott called me personally that evening, and the next day, a Sunday, I had a contract and someone finally on my side. Bill and his crew have answered every phone call, email, and question I have had. He would go out of his way to give me updates as well. Not only did he get my pay started back and my mileage reimbursement, he found where they had underpaid me by almost $10,000! If you have been hurt at work or need a good lawyer, I highly recommend contacting this law firm. Do NOT go it alone! The process is quick, transparent, and costs you nothing out of pocket. Customer service starts out great but after they get your Workers Comp checks coming in my attorney doesnt answer the phone nor answer emails in a timely manner. Bill Abbott himself is great on the other hand. He addressed my concerns immediately and called me back the next morning with answers even though it was a federal holiday. Owner / operator firms seem to care more in my opinion.

Made my 1st call to ask for help, I ve been trying to get help for about 4mnths, on Worker s Comp ignored issues (2 injury dates within 3wks, both proved not my fault!) going on 2yrs ago! I attempted & tried to explain i just moved from my home of 42yrs, not able to work my job position, onto friends property because house unlivable & having to sit in my car to call this 1st time! I wanted to make an appointment, but said has to be over phone. (What happened to good old days of hospitality? I m vaccinated, I ll mask & wear gloves! ) I have to accept those rules if not in person! But She kept interrupting me as I was trying to get out even a 1/4 of what I just wrote . Even as I broke down feeling defeated yet again! it was ALL about You can call back Monday with your pw in your car & we ll ask questions then! (interrupting at least 3xs in under 5min phn call to tell me about calling Monday!) I couldn t even hear an speck of any compassion or hate you ve been trying almost 2yrs, to get 1 of 3 injuries (MOST damaging in lower lumbar) addressed! Very insensitive, which I won t say her name, as not trying to get someone that seems uncaring, on my 1st call. Hate to hear how 2nd call would go. I ve been terrified to call someone & ask for help, as didn t want my employer to be in trouble! I attempt to convey my situation, to a very uncaring tone/manner . (Again, not able to convey this from her cutting me off) My ptsd has hightened tremendously, since 2020 when this mess began for help. I need someone who actually wants to help my situation. I didn t mean to intrude on her time . I don t even KNOW how to go over in a car with my 3inches of pw , I ve tried hard to keep records of. My apologies for bothering this Attorney s office. Joseph Bedoy at A&A was my attorney through my workers comp case, and he was thoroughly attentive, transparent, and professional throughout the entire process. I was the passenger in a car that got T-boned at high speeds while on the way to a sales call, and had very extensive and severe injuries as a result. I had never dealt with workers comp before and, to say it was a sickeningly twisted and nightmarish process would be an understatement, until I finally made the decision to hire Joseph to help me through it. I had the pleasure of being a client with Abbott &Associates concerning a work related injury that the employer refused to acknowledge. The law from accepted my case and rapidly developed a worker s compensation claim which entitled me to receive monetary compensation. Mr. Joseph Bedoy and his team did a wonderful job. I cannot say enough great things about Nikki Boyd my attorney, and Mr Bill Abbott and any of the staff that worked with her and me and never left me wondering or worried about anything that had to do with my case. She is truly my hero. Without Nikki, fighting and working so hard for me, I would have never known had badly I had been deliberately lied to, cheated, and left to fend for myself. BEWARE!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!!! Especially if you are needing someone for workmans Comp!! Look elsewhere! They are a rip off, and will take your money and leave you high and dry. They took over $300.00 a week from my workmans Comp benefits for over six months, and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I paid them over $6000.00, and they did not even finish my case (they withdrew from my case) once they found out that I received a 0 impairment rating. They did not offer to contest it, but not only that, did not see that the mileage reimbursements, and out of pocket prescription costs were all paid in full by the insurance company. They left me to finish up the loose ends, and would not return my calls after many attempts to contact them about the issues. I am still trying to wrap up the things they did not finish before withdrawing themselves from my case back in November. I wish I could hire an attorney to sue them to get all of my money back!!!! You ve been warned!!!!

We won the initial work comp case.....but when it came to the 2nd hearing, to repair and continue treatment...we lost, I personally feel it was due to lack of evidence presented, in particular a letter of causation from my surgeon, that I was asked to get by the way, and did, that testimony wasnt allowed due to the work comp atty saying they did not get the paperwork in time, the fact alone that they made sure 1st thing, to make sure that testimony was dismissed ...says it all! Youd think that for the appeal, that testimony would be priority to get admitted...but no, lost the appeal as well....paid over $1000 a month for over a year to them, and feel very dissatisfied with the final outcome, had that testimony been handled correctly, I would not be on the verge of losing my pick-up, and my place to live. Very dissatisfied!

I hired Abbott and Associates when Workers Comp Insurance started to deny my husbands claims. They have been wonderful to help answer questions and walk us thru the Workers Comp law. When I have a problem I let them know and within a day or two the problem is solved. When he had to go to court they made sure his problems were presented in a careful thought out manor and were able to rebut any and all issues the opposing counsel had. Find someone else to help your case. From day one i couldn t get answers that i needed and I figured if I hired him he d give me information. It s been over a month since I ve hired them. After about a month of not hearing from them I decided to give them a call. I left voicemails on his office line and left messages with the assistant for a week straight. Finally I catch attorney Mckinley only to have him tell me he can t tell me anything about my case or what Im being charged for until the following Monday. I decided to release the attorney. Of course that s not the action he wished to take. I asked for an email stating that my request has been met. I haven t received an email, and he refuses to return my calls or answer the phone since. I was told to talk to someone in billing but everytime I ask for them they re conveniently out of the office. I m being charged every week and still have no clue what s going on. I have asked to speak to someone, anyone that can help me know what s going on and what they have charged me for. No one can help me but that one attorney even though it has shown that Bill Abbot, Steven Mckinley and Vanessa have all gotten paid by me. Just find another attorney. I was hoping they would be honest and on my side that is not the case in any form.

Got injured on January 23rd 2010, contacted Ogletree Abbott and was assigned Bianca Reed as a caseworker. It took a little to get the ball rolling with Walmart, but she always went above and beyond to make sure that my case was taken care of Thoroughly and that I received the compensation that I deserved. She took on the big dogs and won. I got my surgery approved in 2011 and a few months later, I received my backpay from Walmart. I was assigned a few different lawyers along the way, but ultimately I was paid out until the end of 2017. I would recommend this lawfirm to anybody looking to be protected from the thievery of evil corporations that only seek to help their own. Joseph bedoy is a great attorney as well. Hank altmiller is another amazing Attorney At This firm!

My name is Billy Hamilton, Verizon SW my employer has done every dirty trick to avoid paying my claim. Verizon claimed I was not hurt on the job and failed top give notice as required by law. I worked over time after the injury. and did not go immediately to the hospital. So i was forced to hire Abbott Clay and Reed, who assigned Joseph Bedoy to my case, he is, a very likable , knowledgeable, and skilled attorney, that really showed me his metal at trial against Verizon. He started with going over the elements of the case and the evidence required to prove them, and sharpening my memory of the accident and the dates and times of all the following events critical to our case. then on trial day Verizon has 3 witnesses and Joseph effectively turned each witness into a witness that prove critical and essential points that proved and supported my case and then on closing argument Mr. Bedoy provided the court with the law to justify and require a ruling in my favor, which Verizon failed to impeach and the Judges written opinion indicated as much and resulted in a finding of a compensable injury with timely notice, not once but two times, and that Verizon shall pay for treatment and monetarily, all back pay and start making weekly payments, now Mr. Bedoy is trying to avoid court to get a greatly needed surgery scheduled and completed the firm is the best when Mr. Bedoy was on vacation Verizon cut off all my weekly checks I called Mr. Abbott who called Verizon and checks were started with in 24 hours. I am glad Mr. Abbott reviews my case monthly or when Mr. Bedoy is not available because Verizon does not hesitate to stop payments, treatment or needed surgery.on a whim.just to harass and delay, so made the best choice when I called Bill Abbott and he assigned Joseph Bedoy to help me.

Joseph was just awesome. He was always on top of things when it came to my husbands court and doctors appts and etc. He answered all of our questions honestly and promptly. The best form of communication for us was through email and we would sometimes get updates and answers at night and even over the weekends. This was by far the best experience weve ever had with an attorney. Joseph did everything he was suppose to do under the law and had no control over what doctor reports and medical records/reports stated which was beyond his control. I would recommend him and his law firm to any and everyone that would listen. My husband wanted to just give up on his Workers Comp claim and once I spoke with Joseph and told him the situation he put my mind at ease and that was enough and I convinced my husband to move forward. I came to them in my time of need and Abbott and his monkey just milked me for $6000, in 6 months they helped me get NOTHING accomplished. I was fighting for compensibility on my shoulder and needed a surgery, Joseph Bedoy went on a vacation and quit communicating with me but kept charging me for 3 months until he told me I was chasing waterfalls thinking I needed a surgery. If there was a rating for zero thats what they would get. They have poor communication, once they rush a courier to you to sign retention papers, there care and concers goes down the drain. They constantly bill for time they dont actually give. The state should definitely look into them for fraud.my wife and i did most of the paperwork gathering to get the ball rolling, and. yet they still take forever.
