I recently attended a single mom s brunch at events on the Marquee, and it was awesome! The place was super clean and really upscale. They provided the decorations and the venue, and everything looked amazing. The setup made the brunch feel really special. We hosted my childs Sweet 16 Sneaker Ball birthday party at On the Marquee and we were completely blown away. When visiting for our initial appointment to view the space, we were met by the owner Erica who gave us a full tour of the facilities. My family and I instantly fell in love and booked. The entire booking experience was clear, outlining what to expect leading up to the actual event. In the months leading up to the actual date, the team reached out to ensure we had everything we needed and we were able to customize the space to allow for a dance floor and food/cake setup. They were always friendly, answering any questions I had patiently and throughly. Again, exceeding our expectations. On the day of the event our vendors were able to access the space and get us all setup with no issues. Our guest were blown away by the space and complimented us on how easy it was to locate, find parking and how breathtakingly beautiful it all turned out. Erica was actually onsite the duration of the party and provided us everything we needed. We hosted roughly 75 people and there was never a time we felt confined by space. My teenager had every element to make the night incredibly special and even a VIP space (a big deal for a kiddo). My guest were also able to take advance of the hotels nearby which made everything that much easier for those attending. I look forward to hosting another event at On the Marquee and will refer them to anyone needing a space. Thank you Erica and the entire team for creating a memory that will for sure last a lifetime!

I work at On The Marquee, for Erica Stevenson. She s smart, thoughtful and professional. She s even tempered and calm at all times. She started planning events for clients before she had a venue, experience managing both large and modest budgets, using her network of vendors and experienced staff. Her venue is available for rental only or you may choose to work with a planner. There are instances where clients will have their own decor, program due to a limited budget - and the OTM staff is asked to only execute: Erica would rather not take on the responsibilities of another s vision - however out of kindness she will make exceptions based on their circumstance. I ve attached a few photos to demonstrate her abilities to plan, deliver and flawlessly execute when she is entrusted with planning and a reasonable, realistic budget based on the clients vision and occasion.

My daughter celebrated her Bat Mitzvah this past weekend. The party was amazing, thanks to Erica and her fabulous crew. Im not great with planning events, so I gave Erica a budget and a vision. She put together an unforgettable night that exceeded my expectations. The interior of the building is modern and beautiful; the location is easy to find with plenty of parking. I definitely recommend using this venue and their party planning services!

Absolutely horrible. Please save your money and go with a different coordinator. I m trying to help you out. Erica will give you these amazing promises that she will not deliver. Then when you are crying and disappointed with her lack of follow through, she lacks the accountability or self awareness to admit her failures and will instead blame her vendors and workers. No partial refund. Just excuses. People like her should not be in business and hold the honor of coordinating a bride s special day. When a person does not take accountability or responsibility for their actions/impact they are more likely to do the same kinds of things again.

My cousin recently got married here. I just don t think it is setup for weddings. I think it s more for private events or birthday parties. There was no air. One of the staff was passing out plates to fan yourself . My nephew had to pull all the chairs down for the ceremony because the lady said she couldn t climb and get no chairs. Then when the wedding was over she asked him to put it away. He ask is she paying him lol she said no. There was barely any decorations at all. We had to sit outside for hours while the setup reception. There was no water or soda so I had to drink the juice from the drink mixers. The place is beautiful but just not built for weddings. If you decide to have a wedding here. Make sure bridesmaid s come dressed. The room should be setup for both wedding and reception by setting the tables instead of chairs and make an aisle way. Setting up tables a decor is just too much to do during the event. Hire professional bartender and water should be available. Also there was a beautiful little girl there she was so sweet. However she was not dressed. At least put a beautiful dress on her so she can blend in with the party. I thought she was from the apartments next door. Parking!!!! There is none. I was told to park in the apartment complex which made me nervous so I walked a block in heels . I gave 2 stars because It is a beautiful place.

Disappointed Bride. I recently had my wedding at, On The Marquee. I worked with Erica. I would recommend communicating exactly what you re looking for and a clear understanding to determine if she can provide what you want for your big day. Based on the decorations shown on IG, it was not the same glamour and wow factor that I got on the day of my wedding. So while she is included as the planner/decorator, if you re looking for that extra flair you may need to hire an additional source. Be informed that rehearsal time is not included in the package. A very chaotic rehearsal took place the night before the wedding because we had to share the space with a band setting up for an event that night. The planner insured me that we would be able to rehearse the day of at 3pm before the wedding began. Unfortunately, that rehearsal never happened because nothing was set up in time. Set up for the ceremony did not begin until approximately 3pm. The wedding began at 5 with guests starting to arrive around 4. The planner stated that she allotted time for her crew to set up and her excuse was that my guests arrived too early. It seems that perhaps she was counting on guests to arrive late to give her more time for set up. I believe she should plan more time as things were not managed in a timely manner in my opinion. Several of my wedding party mentioned that had to assist with the set up. The crew was still setting up during the wedding and around my guests. I paid extra money to have different drapes surrounding the stage area. The drapes were not changed and I was not offered a refund. We discussed placing ribbons to create an aisle, there s was nothing in place for the aisle. The AC was broken so the entire ceremony was hot. I presented ideas of my own for programs and a welcome sign. The planner suggested her own ideas in place of mine, which was fine. However, she did not provide the items she recommended and did not communicate this to me until the last minute. Other recommendations she made were not done as the examples she showed me. The bartender seemed to be a last minute replacement. She could not have been the same bartender that the planner told me about; that made such incredible drinks and had such great presentation. The bartender didn t have signs up for our signature drinks, told my guests she was out of alcohol, mixers, and ice throughout the night. The balloon arch was scarcely done. It looked nothing like the balloon arches she advertises on her page. The Photo Booth vendor arrived during the cocktail hour and started set up in the wrong location. Not sure if the planner discussed set up with the vendor. They had no direction so the wedding party had to redirect them. The crew had to take down and re-assemble in the right location, which cut into our time and guest activity. A speaker for music was supposed to be provided during the cocktail hour, it was not made available to us. Overall my guests enjoyed themselves and it was a nice event space. Since I had certain expectations and was sold so many ideas by the planner, just to not see a lot of the actual plans and ideas provided on the day of my wedding was very disappointing. I would recommend the vendor add rehearsal time in their package deal to avoid conflicts in that area. Also it would be a nice perk to provide a hotel suite at a nearby location because the bridal suite is quite small if you have more than 3-4 bridesmaids.

Whew Where Should I begin. I was apart of a wedding party for a very close friend. The Coordinator did not live up to any of the brides expectations. The vision that she provided her was not executed. I recommend you hire your own decorator. I really recommend you finding another venue. But the trip part for me when I seen some of the guest in there nice attire being ask to help move furniture for cocktail hour. The coordinator kept disappearing and communication was not on her side. This was suppose to be a day full of happiness but it was more of frustration. Its a HARD no for me.

Worst service. The staff is rude and they do not have a concept of service. Not even ready to serve water, and after talking to manger she is on the same boat of attitude as if she they are doing favor providing water to the guests. This is the basic necessity one can ask for in 100 F temperature

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary at On The Marquee. The staff handled every detail with professionalism and the venue is gorgeous inside and out. There s plenty of parking in the adjacent parking lot which belongs to the retail owners, the apartment building across has its own parking garage. I d be remised if I didn t include simply floras for her planning expertise.

When choosing an event location, all of the details are what matters! The location of this event center is spot on. It was close to hotels for our out-of-town guests and great for shopping. The team at On the Marquee ensured that what was important to us to have a successful event was also important to them! Thank you to the owners and the staff for making our First Gala unforgettable. We hosted our first Fundraising Masquerade Gala at the venue for our nonprofit Relay Heroes Today Leaders Tomorrow, and all I can say is that this is the perfect place to host a Gala, fundraiser, or any event you are considering planning. Our team had a specific list of needs when looking for a venue, and On the Marquee checked every box. The place is so beautiful, with lots of natural sunlight and ambiance, that we even changed our décor plan because we did not want to take away from the already exceptional aesthetic of the building. The owners thought of every detail when putting this place together. Our coordinator for the evening was Diana. She was attentive, professional, and amazing! We met both owners in planning our event, and they are great to work with! They care about the details and the success of your event. Relay will absolutely consider hosting other events with this venue! We did have one hiccup with parking, but the owner quickly resolved that, and having him close by made a huge difference!

My experience with the owner Erica has been seamless and she is very thorough. I appreciate how helpful and hands on she has been with the preparation for my upcoming event in March of 2023. I was excited to find out there is a partnership with a hotel for my guest coming out of town; and we will have the convenience of being near the venue and get a discount for their hotel stay. Overall great experience and beautiful venue. I am happy to do business with Erica, and will definitely refer friends and family to have a memorable and quality experience.
