DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ESPECIALLY YOUR MONEY!!!!! I filed child support on myself in 2022, the case was dismissed after an attorney was hired by my ex and the proper channels were not taken. I tried to fight for my children on my own but quickly realized that the corrupt court system we have, that was impossible. I hired this firm in middle of March 2024, I expressed my concerns about the opposing counsel trying to use a Mediation agreement from the dismissed case. I dont know the law which is why I hired this law firm. It was said to me that they will handle everything. Well after several court resets from the opposing counsel, I was told by my attorney after 4 months and over $5,000 that we need to go to mediation. At this point I was irritated since my children were still being denied to me. The incompetence of this law firm is out of this world. Why did it take from March to July to tell me we have to go to mediation? After this I had had enough!!! August 10th, I terminated services with them. I was told the last invoice will be taken care of by my $3500 retainer. After several weeks and messages left without a call back; On 9/20/2024, I had to go in person to speak to someone. I was told that they have not been taken off my case yet, waiting on the A.G. to sign off on that. So that tells me that my retainer will be $0 by the time everything is over. I went to mediation alone without counsel and won, I now have my children again after 3 1/2 years. Over $8,000 that this law firm has taken from me for what, what did they actually do to help me get possession of my children. It is a disgrace to treat people like this, especially a Veteran!!! Be cautious on hiring this law firm.

Out 14K she was put on child support and had to pay 6K in attorneys fees. I haven t seen a penny. They spout about making use best of your time. I didn t see that with my case had 3 different attorneys one wasted a bunch of my time and and cost me a lot of money.

Horrible experience, Changed prices from $1,000 to $2,400 within a week. Horrible representation, had no update about my case until the day of court case. Even on the day of the court, I was clueless, until about 5 minutes before we spoke to the judge. I questioned the price change, the employees had no response & ran me out of the office. I cant in good faith recommend this Law Group to anyone.

Honestly, they initially made me confident on my case. Until there was very little communication and I was lied to about a couple of details. Only found out once I saw my invoice. I paid the invoice then called and left a message to see when I would get the retainer back and if my case was closed. I received a call back to ask me what my call was about. I told them again I wanted to know when my retainer would be returned and if my case was closed. I was told I would need another call back. Now received an invoice for the waisted time. Also got charged for them reviewing my case again and readjusting.I received a text message that the attorney wanted to speak to. No information given. I m not spending another dime to waste my time. This is the text I received this text on 8/6. Let s see if I get charged for this message. I told them if it s not a free call I m not wasting my time anymore. I will update with the invoice if I get one. I really hope not though. There was no attempt to close anything out by anyone. Not a single call, email, no voicemail. All the ridiculous charges and no mention of any of closing my case anywhere. The last time I heard anything was June 29th. I sent a message on the portal on these days: June 29th - not response July 4th - resent message - no response July 9th - re-sent original message- no response. Aug 17th- notified that a check with my retainer would start to process in a process of a check after I got charge another of $163 and some change to close out my case. Aug 26th - as I am waiting for my check and no one ever seems to be ever be available it s very nice to see employees smile down as they walk with their faces to their phones. I ve only received useless invoices since then and the text message below.

If you like signing legal contracts with no details on what the deliverables will be or what specific services will be completed, then this is the perfect place for you. I met with an attorney during my free consultation and he discussed the approach for my case. I was ready to sign and pay to hire the Gonzalez group but the contract did not mention the items I discussed with the attorney. I asked if they could please add it to the scope listed and the paralegal was condescending and rude about it. I expected the contract to reflect my verbal conversation with the attorney. My request was not outrageous. Seems shady and honestly it made me uncomfortable. I ended up hiring a different law firm. It s unfortunate but glad I found someone else.

The experience with this law group was ABSOLUTELY horrible. They have no respect or regard for a persons time or money. I met with an attorney for a free consultation and at that time she said that if I had any further questions the next consultation would cost $100. I scheduled an appointment a few days later to meet with the same attorney on a Saturday morning. I had to bring my 82 year old father to the meeting because he had to be present. He has issues and it is hard for him to get around. I arrived 15 minutes early. I signed in and paid the $100. Instead of giving me the choice to wait or to reschedule they proceed to make me wait for over 2 and a half hours. Steadily making excuses for the wait. Finally we go upstairs and we walk into a room. The attorney I scheduled my appointment with is not present. There is a young man who looks like a law student and a young lady who is a law student in the room. The male has no clue how to answer my questions because he is not that kind of lawyer. We are there for 15 minutes and he writes my questions down and says that he will have the attorney call me on Monday. She doesnt call. I call her and the phone girl said she will have the attorney call me back. She finally calls. She says she cant take my case and rushes me off the phone. This was a huge disrespect of a persons time and money. I dont care that she couldnt take my case. That was fine. I should have been told the truth from the beginning. If my lawyer wasnt there just give me the respect to make a choice if I want to wait and see a different attorney and explain that he is not really knowledgeable in what I need or would I like to reschedule. I was respectful enough to be early for my appointment. You should give people the same respect. My poor father was in pain from being there for so long. I HATE this place and would give them a negative infinity if I could.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND They charge you for a message or call from your lawyer, in 3 years they changed the lawyer because they resigned or did not arrive at the previously established appointments, the case that they handled for 3 years they never gave a solution, they charged too much money for 3 years to end up just continuing asking for money without resolving absolutely anything. Im about to call the television feeling a big scam.

***BUYER BEWARE!!!!*** They asked for my Review so here it is & maybe it was just my luck. I can only say that this was not the best experience when it comes down to dealing with a law firm. The staff was very polite, courteous & seemed professional enough, But they will keep their hands in your pocket!! I kept feeling the sense of being Over Billed even though I stressed, on day one, that I wanted to keep things extremely simple, with as little communication as possibly needed, for the sake of minimizing my billing. I noticed that they billed me for absolutely EVERYTHING! If they looked something up online-CHARGE, if they moved my folder from the blue folder to the yellow folder-CHARGE, if they called & left a message-CHARGE, creating a witness list, when theres no witnesses to the hearing but my ex wife & I, $100 charge, if my attorney orders coffee while on the way back to the parking lot after the hearing-CHARGE-CHARGE-&-CHARGE. They even billed me, every month, for verifying that they were billing me correctly! Never saw that before for sure. I thank God I didnt let them handle my divorce! I would have had to move into my car or beg my ex wife to take me back! Gheeeze!! & all I had was an enforcement hearing concerning the divorce decree that my ex was, abundantly clear, in violating. I say all this to say, scrutinize EVERY invoice you receive and question ANY charges that doesnt feel right. Mind you, they can bill for as much time (Creative billing), on any particular item, as they want as long as its not apparently gross to the point of you noticing it. I called to enquire about my billing a few times, only to be told that they will check into it & call me back shortly but never receive the call. On my Final bill, never received the final invoice though, was billed nearly $300 additional dollars. Without the invoice I had no way of knowing what the charge was for. I called, once again, to inquire and was told that someone would call me back, once the young lady I was speaking with couldnt figure it out. No one returned my call after a week. So I called back and was connected to this obnoxious para legal. He tells me that the additional charge was for the closing of my case. So, for the nearly $7000 in attorney fees I was suing my Ex for, my defense managed to only include $4000, leaving the rest on the table buy charging me nearly $3000 more after the fact. Either neglect, incapable, or incompetent. You decide... Final point, if theyre going to bill you like theyre top tier, they need to represent like theyre top tier. You want top tier results for those top tier charges. PERIOD!!!

Do not recommend their services. Gonzalez Law Group took a simple three month case and prolonged it to a year. Anytime I would ask for an update they would say they are working on it, but have not shown results. They charged an absurd amount of ridiculous fees and did not do their due diligence to follow up on the case if current address or locations were correct. Also the assigned three different lawyers within González Law Group, as those other lawyers left. They were unable to find to documents that they claimed they worked on and sent and proceed to redo the same paperwork multiple times and charge you. I would recommend anyone reading this to look for another law firm to save you the money and headache having to deal with the unprofessionalism.

I went to this law firm looking for help and answers, well i got answers for sure, and the lady attorney was very informative, knowledgeable and engaging.. but she made me feel like she was acting as a prosecutor against me at times.. My wife and I could perceive her passive aggressive attitude aimed at me during our conversation with my wife.. I would not recommend this law firm for certain cases but many others they are probably better at but i will definitely not be back for anything in the foreseeable future . (side note: she said she would call me back by Friday and she herself never called me back, I received a few calls asking if I was still interested and I was still waiting for my promised call, but they did not reach out to me until the next following Monday after, a week after when she said that SHE would call.. They might have attorneys who are better at attracting new clients but my experience with her was very poor and uncomfortable, wish it would have been more positive for my wife and I.

He was due to arrive at 8:30 and arrived after 9. She seemed like my husbands lawyer and not mine. He didnt defend me at all, he wasnt clear, he didnt fight for me. I had asked someone with experience, the girl is new. She didnt advise me on anything, I wasnt prepared at all. After the hearing I called for information and for things that were left that were not fulfilled and her response was to try to communicate with the other lawyer but he does not respond. Or hell just call you back and never call. The truth is, what a disappointment, I worked very hard to pay the deposit of 3,500 and I received an invoice for 6,000 dollars that I will not pay because they did nothing at all. She had things to defend me but I preferred to remain silent and simply work for the other side. A good lawyer defends you and fights for you, he does not leave you alone in the den of the wolf.
