The venue was such a nice place had outdoor and indoor layout. The parking was very secure and easy to find. Only issue is the coordinater/owner for this venue Paula. She is very unorganized and uncoordinated. My fiance and I tried to contact her so many times with no respond then I had my wedding planner contact her only for her to say she doesnt want to speak to her that she will get back to me. I understand venues may get hectic but if you are so busy hire an extra person to have as POC people are trying to contact you to plan their important events that cost a lot of money.

We adored The Gallery for our wedding a true diamond in the rough. While the neighborhood may not align with the venues aesthetic, stepping inside was a revelation. The interior is incredibly beautiful and proved to be the perfect setting for our guest count of 90. Paula, the owner, is exceptionally sweet, genuinely invested, and excited for the couples celebrating their weddings at The Gallery. The perk of having access to the venue all day made the setup and the convenience of handling hair and makeup a breeze. Dont be deterred by the location; it turned out to be a fantastic venue for our Houston wedding!

After searching multiple Houston venues, we finally found the one. It was such a perfect intimate vibe for our family and friends. It was wonderful touring this unique space with multiple levels and learning about the history of The Gallery. We fell in love with the charming architecture and what stood out to us most was the antique bar! Paula and the Gallery staff were so great to work with. They really care about every couple s vision and will work with your vendors to create the best day. Highly recommend choosing this venue for your wedding!

Very happy we chose The Gallery as our wedding venue! It was perfect for our needs, and our guests loved it as well. The ceremony space was gorgeous, and the reception space was a ton of fun. We went with an inclusive package with The Gallery and had a great experience with all of the vendors. Communication was smooth, even with a staff change during the time of our contract. I was a guest at a wedding in this venue. There wasn t an elevator. Many stairs. Usually at a wedding there are older people and handicapped people are not rare. Definitely very difficult and partially impossible to navigate. This should have been pointed out to the young healthy bride and groom prior to booking.

When we started searching for our perfect wedding venue, I looked at dozens of web sites and fell in love with The Gallery. It ended up being the only venue we looked at because it exceeded our expectations on first sight! The venue is GORGEOUS and the staff was so pleasant and easy to work with. The venue has such Mediterranean charm and rich history. Our guests had been to many weddings in Houston and were shocked this gem was right in the city. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. The multi level aspect of The Gallery was so fun and made fora. Unique experience. The bride and grooms suits were large and we never felt crammed with 9 bridesmaids and lots of family getting ready. 10/10 recommend!

It was very nice but the side that had a ramp did not have enough parking for the handicapped. All the stairs were steep and very high which would be alright for young people but not for older and/or handicapped adults.

We had our daughters wedding at The Gallery Houston with over 200 guests. I cannot say enough about this place. They were so helpful throughout the entire process. Not only was the venue gorgeous with ample space, but extremely affordable. The wedding reception was perfection - flowers, food, dj, bar and staff. Everyone was so helpful throughout the year and through the event. Even the little things that did not go as planned (we forgot table numbers day of etc) were handled by the staff with minimum stress on us. This is the perfect venue for any celebration.

I actually live a few blocks from the Galleria so Im at the Galleria several times a month. Most people may only think of the Galleria as a place for retail shopping but theres so much more that the Galleria can offer. For example, my barber shop is located in the Galleria and also the nail salon that I use. Theres something at the Galleria for everyone so take the time to visit and explore.

Words cannot describe how amazing eboni and paula was with the planning of getting to our wedding. They were amazing at communicating with us and also did an amazing job the day of our wedding with our cocktail tables needing to be moved due to it raining. From the little details of our layout to working with our wedding planner I have absolutely nothing but thanks to give them for helping us on our special day.

What a shame that such a beautiful mall has bathrooms that are so sad, neglected and devoid of minimal issues, forget about the disposable paper to cover the toilet, because they dont even have a hook to hang the bags. Too bad!!!

Its something about this place that really comes to life at nighttime. So happy to have hosted my wedding at such a beautiful venue! Not to mention, the process of booking the venue and setting up everything was incredibly smooth. The venue manager Eboni was the most professional and delightful person to work with! Even more, after some trouble we experienced with our wedding planner (during the week of our wedding), Eboni graciously stepped up and took her place to make sure our wedding went according to plan. I cant imagine what we would have done without Eboni! Thank you to the Gallery for making our dreams come true!

We recently had our daughters wedding at The Gallery. They were completely inflexible during covid refusing to change the date without a huge charge. Beware, whatever number of people you give them initially is what you will pay for. They ask for a final count but still charge you full amount for bar and food. They replaced the the dollars charged for 45 extra people with a cookie and milk and a breakfast taco. Both worth about $2.00 total. The wedding planner wasnt great and downright rude at the end of wedding. We made it a beautiful wedding in spite of the management. Also charged for two officers and never saw one the entire day or evening. Its a beautiful venue but I would definitely have an attorney review your contract before you sign it. Even a covid shutdown didnt make them work with us. Barb Moody

The Gallery is such a beautiful venue and we had the most amazing experience with them! The whole team is so great to work with and was so flexible with us with everything related to COVID and made the process so much smoother when there were alot of stressful details to work out. While our wedding didnt go the way we originally planned as we decided to significantly reduce our guestlist, it turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined! We originally were expecting 200+ guests and ended up with only around 75 people and the space still was perfect. I feel like the venue is really flexible for accommodating a smaller or larger group and there are so many different ways that you can set up with the venue which they will help with. I was worried that it would feel too big but it really was the perfect size with us using the downstairs for the reception and the upstairs for the cocktail hour and some extra tables upstairs in case anyone wanted to social distance. The team had everything set up exactly how we requested and made the day so much easier. They were also VERY accommodating on us dropping off all of our stuff and getting everything to the venue (since it is alot more than you think). While we were unloading, we realized that my Mom had a flat tire which is not what you need when you are worrying about a wedding. The owner was so gracious and helpful and sent one of the team members to help my Dad change the tire when it was VERY hot outside. They really cared and went above and beyond the services they were contracted to make our experience stress free throughout the whole process. Eboni answered so many questions for me and they were always very prompt to follow up either via email or getting on a phone call. From a decoration perspective, the venue is so beautiful on its own that you really dont need to add too much which makes it more cost effective and easier to plan. They have great vendor suggestions and I highly recommend using these vendors that have worked with the venue over and over because they know what will look great and know the team at the Gallery and help make the process even smoother as well. Overall, I would highly recommend the Gallery if you are looking for a beautiful venue that is centrally located and affordable.

Alright. Trigger word. Covid-19. All I have to stay is that the staff at The Gallery went above and beyond to take care of us. Paula, the owner, specifically went out of her way to help us feel safe and comfortable while planning a wedding during this crisis. Her staff has always been kind and welcoming, but they really blew us out of the water with how attentive they were to our needs and how committed they were to our love story. On top of their personable staff, their facilities are phenomenal and are a perfect backdrop for romance and fun. We are so pleased with our choice of wedding venue. I had my February wedding at the Gallery, and I couldnt be happier with the experience! My husband and I wanted something stress-free, and that was exactly what we got: the Gallery offers a package that takes care of so many details. It was such a relief! Not only was the venue absolutely beautiful, but we had it all to ourselves on the day of the wedding. I loved that our guests got to wander the stunning grounds during cocktail hour and the reception. My favorite part was having photos taken in front of the ivy wall. Its a timeless backdrop! Every single person who works at the Gallery is kind and professional. They truly want you to have the perfect wedding. Came here for a friends wedding. The venue is very intimate and the outdoor balcony was very spacious for the smaller size wedding of 90. The place is tucked away from big roads, and keep your eyes peeled for the sign as it can be easily missed.

I just had my wedding there two weeks ago and WOW! When I was looking at venues in Houston I almost gave up hope to try to find a venue that was in our budget that was relatively close to downtown. I was about to give up hope until I stumbled upon the Gallery and it was a miracle that I did! Eboni was AMAZING to work with. Always there and available to answer any questions. I loved the fact that whenever you sign a contract you can always visit the property unannounced as long as there is not an event. We had our dancing part of the reception outside which was BEAUTIFUL! I don t know why people don t do that honestly! It was beautiful and beyond my expectations. Cafe Natalie was fantastic! Everyone is still talking about the food and our Dj (Manny DaSilva) went above and beyond! I ve been to many weddings and have been dissapointed with the music but he delivered. Literally I can t think of a better way I could have had my wedding. Love these people and you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I looked at a lot of venues, but knew immediately that The Gallery was THE ONE. Beautiful architecture, spacious grounds, and amazing staff all make The Gallery phenomenal. We loved the roomy and comfortable bride and groom suites and the extended access to the venue. Plus they provided tables and chairs for the wedding! With the capability of both indoor and outdoor ceremonies it was nice to know there was a contingent plan for poor weather. Great experience and I highly recommend The Gallery!

I have to write a review and give The Gallery some love! I had my wedding here last month and I am so sad that I do not get to visit anymore for planning. None of the pictures online do this place justice, it is absolutely stunning!! So many beautiful spots to take photos as well, our guest could not get enough of it. The staff is awesome!! Paula is fantastic and very accommodating. She really wants your wedding day to be spectacular! She goes above and beyond to make it happen. I read a few reviews saying that she is hard to get a hold of. I did not experience this at all. I always emailed The Gallery and received a response within 24 hours Tuesday - Thursday, when most wedding venue offices are opened. We used most of the The Gallerys vendor preferences and we were NOT disappointed! If you are seeking the perfect wedding venue, make sure to visit The Gallery :)

Not sure if I get the permission to use the pics of the bride and the groom lol, but anyways its a nice, quaint place to hold your wedding. The wedding was held outdoors, which is quite atypical in such H town climate. The corner can hold 200+ people, but people at the back roll can barely hear anything. So I wont compliment there acoustics. Inside the house has two stories, the first floor can hold 20 big round tables with a decent dancing space, and the upstairs is a bar. The Gallery has a vendor list, so u cant pick whichever vendor you like. In general, the Gallery is able to give u a memorable wedding!

Paula & Eboni were great! As a man, I had no desire to be involved in the wedding planning process. But these 2 made it fun and easy. The venue speaks for itself - so much character, super classy and built for social interaction. We really didnt need to decorate much at all! I was invited to a friends wedding. The structure was like a classic movie set. I couldnt believe I was actually in Houston. If I had enough time, Id take a tour of this place. Parking tips: guest lot is in the rear. The sign is kind of hard to see, especially at night. Drive slowly until you see the end of iron fence and the beginning of commercial area.

If youre interested in The Gallery, I would walk on. I signed and cancelled my contract within 24 hours. After some delay in contacting me, I was replied to with a no refund policy and receipt dated after my cancellation date. Paula read my request to cancel then charged my card and lied to me, saying it had been run when my contract was submitted. This was a lie and also illegal. They are practically impossible to contact. They are always out of town or away from the office. Myself and my fiancees mother tried to contact them daily for two weeks while she was in town to see the venue we thought we were stuck with. Rather than call anyone who tried to contact them by phone, they emailed my fiancee to tell him we can see it anytime. This was after she finally showed up uninvited to see someone. The only man there knew nothing about anything but let her view the place. This was November. My wedding date was in January. My frustration to speak to anyone regarding my day was growing with every unanswered call and email. I finally got a call from Kim while I was viewing another venue. When confronted about the validity of my contract, Kim offered me a full refund and requested a termination of contract notice. I received a delivery receipt for the email I sent with my notice on 12/31/14. It is now, 1/15/15 and no one has contacted me. Their automated reply has changed since so it is obvious they have been back to the office. My booked date has been made available on their website but no refund has been made. I dont trust these people as they have given me no reason to. I am furious. I had to re-plan my entire wedding and move it to March. On top of that, I am having to chase down my money that was never rightfully theirs. I am not cancelling a contract because the contract was never valid. Therefore, my money is due to me and has been due to me since the time they charged my credit card. If you work for The Gallery and have read this review, know that I am trying to contact you. I suggest you contact me in regard to this, ASAP. If you are a bride, find another venue. You wont want to deal with this mess.
