I am very thankful Aaron could get all of my charges, including a weapons charge dismissed in a matter of a few weeks. I got my firearm back too and Im still waiting to receive my LTC back. It was not a no refusal weekend (happened on a Thursday) yet the Constables got a warrant anyway. It didnt matter whether I said yes or no, they were going to take blood and they did. If I were you, Id assume it is no refusal period (advice but not legal advice). My BAC was multiple times lower than the legal limit and I was the only vehicle involved in my accident. Aaron did a fantastic job.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to make the decision to hire an attorney for a DWI case. I did my research, but there were few to choose from that were available in the area where the incident occurred. I decided to roll the dice and find one in the downtown Houston area. I feel very fortunate to have selected Greg Houlton to represent me in my two DUI cases. My arrests occurred within three months of each other and I was sure Id be facing jailtime, considering the circumstances of my arrests. It was a very difficult time and I was obviously struggling in my personal life. But within the first few minutes of meeting Greg, he made me feel very comfortable and insisted that I take care of myself, first and foremost, and let him deal with the legal proceedings. I cannot express how grateful and appreciative I am for Trichter and LeGrand. You cannot find a better team to represent you in a DWI case. If I didn t hire Aaron, I would not be where I am today and would have ended up in a worse position. I was arrested on the night of my birthday late at night and the cops pulled me over for a broken license plate light then went overboard saying that I was slurring my words and requested a sobriety test. I am a disabled veteran and have issues with physical tasks alone as it is and because of that they failed me and sent me straight to the slammer. This is my first offense ever and it was a bad charge. I was distraught and felt the world was against me. I was researching and looking for someone to clear my name and that s when I found Tricther and LeGrand and met Aaron. When we first met, he radiated confidence and professionalism. He reassured me that there was nothing to worry about. Hearing those words gave me a sense of extreme relief and took my stress away. I will start by admitting that I do not write reviews, but Gary Trichter has saved me in a way I cannot nor could I have ever expected. 5 stars do not do justice to the care and work Gary Trichter and his associates Frank, Kristy, and Tracy have put in for me. People make mistakes and he does understand that. I am a Husband, Father, and Business professional that was on the verge of losing ALL when I received a Felony 3rd DWI along with an unlawful carrying charge. In March of 2019 I was pulled over while driving 93 mph in a 65. Per reports, my blood alcohol was high, and my field sobriety video was not favorable. This all happened in Comal county which is one of the strictest counties in Texas. From the very first time I spoke with Gary he was kind and understanding of my situation and committed to doing everything possible to fight for me, however I would need to commit to following his guidance in order for us to be successful. He was upfront and honest with me about my case including the possibility of prison time. I followed his instruction and direction to a t. From this my mitigation book for my defense was created. Through faith, hard work, and Garys guidance we went from a 10 year prison sentence to 4 years probation with some other requirements which are keeping me out of prison and saving my family and life! Since the charge I have found sobriety and my bond with God and family is now stronger than ever. We have been given another chance and truly understand how easily things can be taken for granted and lost. Gary truly put his heart into my case and I am grateful for that. They say a man is only as good as his word. Gary Trichter is true example of that. I was charged with 2 DWIs about a month apart. I am a veteran with multiple deployments and HAD substance abuse issues with alcohol. Ill skip the details because I finally got the help that I never wanted to seek. Hiring Gary Trichter to represent me was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I was arrested for DWI in Ft Worth after I allegedly failed field tests and a warrant was taken for my blood. I spoke with Gary and told him that I wanted to see the evidence in my case before deciding whether it was worth it to pay him $21k nonrefundable, because if it was a likely plea deal, that expense made no sense. Gary assured me that wed be going to trial no matter what, and then pressured me to decide whether Id hire him. I gave in and decided to do so based on his online reputation. After the evidence comes in, Gary now advises me that we couldnt possibly win at trial. He is somewhat rude to me, and scolds me for my own rude behavior towards the arresting officer. That really didnt sit well with me. He advises that we should try a motion to suppress, and if that fails, plead guilty. Gary performed reasonably well at the hearing, but we lost, and I pled guilty. I paid Gary $21k to only attended the motion to suppress hearing. He was not involved in the plea negotiations; instead he hired a local attorney to represent me. I didnt get much advice at all about what to negotiate for, and feel I did not get the best possible deal. After I won my first appeal, which I handled myself (and which was later reversed), the trial court set a hearing. Gary informed me that he wouldnt be appearing for this, based on our contract specifying that his representation was limited to the dwi case in the trial court. I pointed out that this was still the same dwi case in the trial court, and asked for an explanation as to why this hearing was not part of his representation. I received no response. During my appeal, it was discovered that there was an error in the courts paperwork that indicated I had no right to appeal. I contacted Gary about this, and he refused to take any responsibility for this or help me in any way to get it resolved. I generally found Gary difficult to communicate with. I would caution anyone considering his services to reconsider.

Yesterday my DWI case was DISMISSED by my Lawyer Chris Denuna, No Breathalyzer ever, No probation, No nothing. I had searched online for a good lawyer and I came across Tichter & LeGrand, I seen that they are open 24 hours, I read the reviews I read a lot of good/positive reviews on Chris Denuna. I called it was past 12 a.m. sure enough I was able to talk to him, that made me feel like I was at the right place. The day I went to the meeting, Chris was very confident and very knowledgeable. When I was accused of a DWI I couldnt think of another law firm I wanted to try. I had heard a lot of good things about this firm and their treatment of me and handling of my case exceeded my expectations by far. When I had my accident in February of 2015, my getting away with it had come to an end after 30 plus years of getting away with drinking and driving. After getting out of the hospital the next morning, I immediately contacted Trichter & Murphy. To be blunt, I was very scared but I had not been arrested. I still had my license. I was very confused. It was one of the most difficult calls I have ever made. Like I said, I was scared beyond belief. I had no idea of what expect. During that initial call, I was told exactly what to do. Immediately I felt part of the weight lift off my shoulders. I felt a small spark of this is going to be okay. But I knew I was in for quite a haul. After the phone call and weekend, we then we set up a meeting. Gary and his team calmly explained to me what was about to happen over the course of the next 12-18 months. And they could not have been more accurate. They informed me as to what I needed to start accumulating document wise. They explained all of the situations, restrictions, and expectations I was going to be involved with and at every stage of this nightmare. Everything from posting bond, to getting the interlock system, to getting a temp license, to navigating the court system, to the community service, to what I was looking at financially from the city, county, and state...all of which amounted to one of the biggest hassles of my life...was made that much easier with Trichter & Murphy. They walked me through each phase, each step, the entire way. I know how serious this was and how much more serious and tragic it could have been, but having them on my side, on my team, made the whole dreadful experience a lot easier to deal with. When I would go down to the courthouse, all I could ever think of was, my God how many criminals are there in this city...and I am one of them! But Gary and his team (my attorney was Leslie) helped me to understand that Yes I had made a mistake, but We were going to get through this together! As cliche as it sounds, Bad things can happen to Good people. Gary Trichter helped me to see that in me. He believed it. I began to believe it too. My circumstances did not indicate that I was going to elude the consequences of my actions. Maybe for they will. Trichter & Murphy made me no false promises. They did not provide me with a false hope of acquittal. They did provide me with assurance that by following their instructions and directions that I was going to come out of this. I could not have asked for anyone better to represent me in my legal issues other than Chris Denuna. He was very thorough and helpful throughout the entire process. He explained the trial procedure and clearly presented my options. I was impressed by his availability. He would answer my questions regardless of the time of day. Additionally, his professional knowledge and understanding was evident in his handling of my case. In the end, my case was dismissed. I know this was due to Chris diligence and expertise. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal counsel.

I used this law firm for a DWI I was accused of. I was pulled over on the 2014 News Year no refusal weekend and accused of driving drunk. Not only was I arrested but I was asked to give a breath test in which I refused. So the officers actually took me to the hospital and took a blood specimen from me. Usually when you refuse to blow its automatic drivers license suspension for a year I believe. Well, 2 months into my case my drivers license portion of the case was not suspended and that part of the case was dropped. Next thing I know about two months later my criminal charges of DWI was dropped as well. This is not no plea deal or nothing like that. This is case closed, no fines, no fees, no nothing. He is now helping me with the paperwork to file to expunge this charge is off my record. When you first meet with the law firm you will about pass out when they say there retainer fee is about $8,000. TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!!!!!! This has been the best $8,000 I have ever spent. I highly recommend this law firm and ask for Wes Rucker as your attorney. If you go onto their website and read his bio, you will understand this guy is definitely no fly by night lawyer. He is very educated and very very good as what he does. They handle everything and make this very uncomfortable situation very very bearable. I hope this review was helpful
