Growing up in Fort Worth back in the 50s and 60s, we loved Pizza Inn. Seems like that s about the last time we ate at there. Passing through Mesquite one day, we saw this Pizza Inn at 3003 N Galloway. Decided to go retro and did a quick u turn. What a good idea it was! This place is a lovely trip back in time. The white stucco building doesn t look like much from the street. (It looks like the 50s and 60s!). But inside we found the place immaculate and decorated in vintage fashion. But there s more. We also found the nicest people you could meet. Everyone was so friendly and doing an excellent job. The owner is awesome! I m so sorry I didn t get his name but I will next time. He told me he s been the owner for 27 years. I was complimenting him on how wonderful his place is and he said they put a lot of love into everything they do there. It s obvious! About the food: A simple, attractive, delicious, spotless lunch buffet where neither a crumb nor a splash was left unattended to. If you live in Mesquite, you re lucky to have this special place. You should go there. If you live in Rockwall, like we do, or anywhere else east of Dallas, you should go too! You ll be happy you did. Vegetarian options: The buffet has a nice salad bar, pasta with marinara sauce.

We explored Pizza Inn from a coupon received in the ValuePak. The outside does not represent the inside at all. Inside was very clean, and the attention to detail we noticed to keep it clean was great. There was a huge variety in Pizza rotation, and it was kept fresh. Salad bar had fresh veggies, and quite the selection. The service was very inviting and friendly. The attendant to our table, Keda, was AMAZING! Empty plates were removed quickly, and our drinks were refilled before finishing the current one. Pizza quality was same as chain Pizza. I would recommend this location @ 3003 Gallaway, Mesquite TX.

Its been years since Ive done a pizza buffet, didnt know they still existed. The pizza was hot and fresh, they put out pizza consistently. There was a server for drinks and she walked around collecting dirty plates off the tables. There was no wait at all when we first arrived. The place itself is in need of some color and updates. Overall would plan to go back if Im in the area.

Paying 71 for 3 adults and 4 kids was a bit of a shock for what was offered. We came here because the menu and pictures showed a well stocked buffet with a variety of options. The buffet was extremely lacking in everything shown, from previous customers. Food was mediocre at best and the service from the cashier to the waitress was like they hated life and didnt want to be there. I am extremely disappointed and definitely wont be coming back.

Went on a very busy Saturday. Due to staff shortages they were not taking requests. They had no chicken pizza options the entire time I was there. Beef, sausage, and pepperoni kept coming out. I finally got a spinich pizza and salad. A true buffet should have chicken and veggie options. Not everyone likes the unhealthier options. The service was sub-par. I had to fill my own tea. One waitress did finally end up bringing a refill. On a positive note, the salad bar has a lot of options (but most people go for the pizza). The Sherman location always offers to make me any customized pizza I want; I got spoiled there.

Went today for the first time in a few years, it was still great. Things were a little different, you pay before you eat now instead of after, and as others have said in their reviews, only 1 specialty pizza request per table. The only thing I thought was strange is that if you only have a debit card to pay with, and no cash, you tip before being served when you pay, so if you have an exceptional experience with your server, how could you give them a better tip?

Food was delish as always but the service suffered bigtime. You pay first now when you enter and are expected to tip before you receive service, which we did. Not ONE time did our waitress check on our drinks, not once. Then when my husband went to the drink station and asked for a lid, the blonde older waitress seemed VERY put out. But immediately was nice, sweet, and bubbly to other customers right in front of us. We have never received poor service like this. We will think twice before going back.

Very disappointing. The employees are distant and bordering on rude, especially the manager. The pizza (sauce) was too salty to eat and getting a drink is a weird process. They force you to use a waitress to get a drink. Its like they are forcing you to tip at an all-you-can-eat buffet. I wont be back to this location, however, the other locations I have been to have always been really good. They always have a soup option and are generally much cleaner. Ill continue to eat at Pizza Inn, just not at this location.

We paid for buffet and we were told pick any table but when we settled in the waitress asked us to move. We were also told only one pizza request per table. I am disabled but agreed to move to another table. Weve been coming a long distance to this store for years but this was the first time Ive been asked to move and one request per table. Fresh pizza, baked spaghetti, the way it used to be made in buffets before buffets were ruined. Not penne pasta not some secondary pasta. They have really good spaghetti with options of marinara and meat sauce. Old-school salad bar with many options. Wonderful, Customer Service. This is the way buffets used to be and this is what Made buffets so great before saturation in the markets. Must give this place your business. We need to keep businesses like this around that really care about catering to the customer and providing a quality experience.

Drove all the way from Denton to have the Cheeseburger pizza. It was delicious!! Service was on top of everything. Dirty plates didnt stay in our table for very long. Fresh pizzas were brought out often. I would choose this over any other pizza buffet!! Definitely worth the drive for us!!!

Pizza Buffet Served Everyday. Thats what the marquee says in front of this place. Weve been here a lot, but today it was off. Like big time. The owner/ manager was a disappointment. I asked him for a custom pizza for the buffet, and his response ask your server maam. No problem right cool. I then observe this guy chatting with my server. Server walks up and I ask her about getting the pizza I want. Like I thought, he told her my table was cut off from custom orders. Now I had already approached this guy but he used my server as a buffer putting her in the middle. I approached him again after this and his response was we changed the policy to one custom order per table. Heres the thing each person pays for a buffet, and we didnt even order a whole pizza at our table. But keep your new policy its your establishment!!

We went on Father s Day for a nostalgic pizza buffet. The restaurant was busy but there were still one or two tables available. We got to the register to prepay for the buffet but were told we can t eat there. When asked why they said they were out of dishes when we were looking at a stack of clean dishes on the buffet. It genuinely appeared as if the manager didn t want to serve us and the others behind us in line because it would be too much work. Also the manager was having a poor teenage girl at the register passing this message along and no where to be seen. If it were me I would be front of house profusely apologizing for whatever the reason for denying service and offering coupons or to wait. None of this happened. We will not be returning.

Food was good when it was fresh but hardly anything was put out on the buffet. we arrived around 7 hardly anything was on the buffet. we asked for a special that wasnt on the buffet and was told that the kitchen was too busy even though there was no orders. i personally sat there for 20 mins waiting on a refill of my drink and during that 20 mins maybe 3 new pizzas had come out but were quickly gone because of the 4 other groups of people who were there. i had one salad and about 6 slices of pizza and left hungry because when i went back for more the pizza was cold.

Ive been coming to this Pizza Inn for at least 10 yrs. Its a great place to get a quick bite to eat. I dont remember them ever being out of anything it was just a matter of asking. Can be slow at times depending on how many waitresses there are but Ive never had a rude waitress. I do wish they still had what I used to call the Old Man discount but COVID put an end to that.

Always a good selection on the buffet. Salad options are really great, too. Pizzas were hot and just kept coming. Kind of chilly inside, be sure to wear a sweater. Service was very attentive. The only place I know that still has a buffet for pizza. Wish they had women and mens restrooms separately instead of co-ed restrooms. Parking: Has smaller parking lot with few spaces, may have some in the back/side not sure.

I have been enjoying this pizza for over 40yrs. This is the only restaurant that still offers a buffet. I drive over 30 miles for the pleasure. The staff is friendly. The dining room clean. Went with a friend, arrived at 7:30 for the All you can eat buffet, food wasnt great but I dont expect great at a buffet but I was surprised that at 8 pm. one hour before closing time the server began taking down the buffet table. This place is an absolute hidden gem in plain sight. Buffet is absolutely awesome. I have been to CiCis Pizza in the past and this place is a billion times better than that place. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is great. The restaurant is clean. The last but not least the food is absolutely excellent. The price is awesome. And its very family friendly atmosphere. I ordered two pepperoni pizzas with a Stromboli and Cheese sticks, and I wanted the Stromboli to have extra ham whenever I got my food the Stromboli Did not have extra ham And they charged me for extra ham, then they gave me garlic pizza instead of cheese, sticks and While I was on the phone with them to make a complaint about my order being wrong and messed up. I found a piece of blonde hair in my pizza and nobody in my house has blonde hair because we re black. Then, when I wanted my refund, they tried to say that they Would just remake the pizza.

I have just started eating at the restaurant at Pizza Inn after many years of living in the neighborhood. I usually just get pizza delivered. Several meat options such as Pepperoni, sausage, chicken, veggie pizzas, and even a Taco Pizza which I love! I have also enjoyed their pasta options. The salad ingredients are plentiful. The staff is professional, very friendly and helpful. I love the atmosphere and I have started craving Pizza Inn at least once a week!!

I had a disappointing dining experience with my wife and two kids today at Pizza Inn in Mesquite, TX. While the restaurant looks fancy from the outside, the experience inside was far from what I expected. I paid for the pizza buffet before entering the dining area, but to my dismay, there was a very limited selection of food available. There were only 3-4 types of pizzas, all with beef toppings, and no options for cheese or chicken pizzas. Additionally, other selections like chicken and noodles were completely out. I tried to address this issue with a staff member, but unfortunately, she was extremely rude and did not pay attention to our concerns. My hungry kids were asking for pizza, but due to the lack of options and unclear ingredient information, I couldnt serve them anything satisfying. I even requested a chicken pizza, but it took a whopping 45 minutes for it to be prepared. At that point, I had had enough and asked for a refund. To my surprise, they informed me that the chicken pizza had been ready but not delivered to our table. I had expected the pizza buffet to offer a wide variety of choices for both us and the kids, but this place was severely lacking in terms of food options and customer care. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was also concerning, as we observed children around us licking their hands and serving themselves in an unhygienic manner. It was an unhealthy environment that left us deeply disappointed. I wont be returning to this establishment, and I strongly advise anyone who doesnt consume beef to think twice before considering dining here. The experience was far from what we had hoped for. Vegetarian options: No Label on any food. All choices was random. Kid-friendliness: No Option for kids

Small buffet area hasn t changed since 1985 when it opened. Pizza s ok but uninspired and limited choices are put out. Pizza area can only hold 6 pizzas max. More expensive than the other pizza buffet down the road.

No birthday special... My first bite of pizza was cold, restaurant was almost half full, it was a Monday. Dr pepper was out. I said Ill have water, was told ok, wasnt offered a refund for a drink. Employees were dancing outside of restrooms waiting to go, only 1 worked cuz both men and women were waiting. I was not pleased at all for a birthday lunch. I will not be going back...

Found this little gem looking for a pizza buffet. The salad bar was small, but had all the good favorites and fresh and cold!!! The pizza choices were small, but was some of the best pizza we have ever eaten. Cheese was off the hook, as well as Pepperoni... small place, but well worth it. Enjoying the SUPER yummy buffet with excellent tunes playing, & I heard a very familiar classic arcade jingle. Looked around to see if it was real; or a flash sideways from those shrooms in 96 . [blissfully twas very REAL: 2 new arcade games!!] Now we come to this guy [pictured] Mr. Abdul Hemani, the BEST & most personable manager this place has ever known.
