Bar was disorganized as far as to ordering. Music was not good. Staff wasn t really welcoming. The balcony was small and had no seating. Bar downstairs was little better but not by much. Took them a total of 20 minutes just to order after being sat down. Don t waste your time checking it out you re not missing anything. Below average. Actually worst rooftop bar I ve ever been to,

Supposedly, according to Eater this is the best rooftop bar in downtown Houston. I was visiting the city from out of town for a work trip and decided to check it out on a Friday night, was pretty disappointed. This is not a luxury rooftop bar but prices are pretty low per drink. Quality- the quality of the drinks was the worst part about this bar and the reason I would not return. I ordered a classic dirty martini, not only was it served in plastic cups, all our cocktails came in plastic (yuck and totally unnecessary considering there is NO POOL on this rooftop) but the dirty martini was made using a little plastic baggy of pre-packaged olive juice instead of fresh olive juice. The cocktail was lukewarm. Pretty gross overall. However, only good thing was that drink prices were low, I think my martini was $12 which is pretty cheap for a downtown rooftop bar IMO. Service- the service was fine, it wasn t terrible and the bartenders were friendly but it seemed a little disorganized. There was a lot of confusion about where the line to the bar starts/should be and knowing this bar is a tourist spot they should probably get that figured out. One of the employees did get mad at me for putting my empty cocktail glass down on a table before leaving, which is the norm at most bars I believe. Kinda odd. Atmosphere- this is a very small rooftop bar without a lot going on. Even on a Friday night, the bar was not very crowded. The people at this bar were mostly either 40+ business attire or very young college aged kids. There is low seating with tables which is great if you want to lounge for a bit and order apps and a few high top table seats near the bar. Otherwise there isn t much going on in terms of ambiance other than the view of the Houston skyline which is the main attraction here. You just kinda stand around. After taking IG pictures which everyone was doing we left.

Visiting Houston for a night and this bar came highly recommended. It didn t disappoint!! The views were amazing! The music was sooooo good and the drinks and food were amazing. Crystal and Lexa were taking care of us and they were so attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

We asked for dinner and the answers were given without enthusiasm, the service was very bad, we ended up eating somewhere else. I used to like coming here way before it became so popular, Had not been here in about 3 years, when I came back last Saturday night they told me I couldn t sit anywhere unless I was spending $200 or more, so I had to stand I instantly left. Nice views and the staff is cool but these new rules and prices don t make it worth it. The bar was not even full, there was maybe around 15 people there.

I visited this place recently. I forgot my ID, so the security guy told us to pay him (have to mention that most likely he was high). There were a couple of people who were under 21 for sure. I can guess it s illegal. Also the service it self was awful.

One of the worst experiences I ever encountered over here due to unprofessional behavioral showcased by manager, he clearly doesn t know the meaning of customer service especially when you are in hospitality business. I bought 5 drinks where four of them were mocktail and one was cocktail for me, they didn t bother to check our id while buying the drink but after I paid for the drink the manger came to us very rudely and told my brother to leave the premises even though he was under the guidance of a guardian with an id of being 25 years old. I am surprised the top management even bothered to hire such an unprofessional, rude, egoistic persona holder as a manger.

Probably the best rooftop bar in Downtown Houston. Located on the 23rd floor of Le Meridien the atmosphere and music is just amazing. The drinks are a bit pricey compared to other bars I have been to but it is understandable considering the location of it. Highly Recommend for a nice and safe bar in Downtown Houston.

The view is interesting and the place has some potential but it is not exploited to its fullest, which is sad, and also it has no real identity or print! Not even talking about the nightmare to park around, basically, you ll have to pay 20USD whether you stay 1 hour or 10hours... but check it out by yourself for the view!

I loved this rooftop bar in downtown Houston! Music was great, a mix of hip hop and rnb, the crowd was also a good mix of diverse races and ages. It was easy to access the bar despite the crowd too. Not much dancing but that s okay it was more of a spot to sip and have a good conversation with friends. The music wasn t too loud either which I loved. Only thing was that parking across the street was over $20 for two hours. And there wasn t much seating so if you re wearing heels make sure they re comfy bc you will be standing! Vibe was great overall though.

Update 2024- amazing views, had chips with spinach dip and wings, really good. Come pre drunk cuz drinks are small and as one might expect from a place like this prices a little above average. Do yourself a favor and go EARLY. Very few tables. Small space in general. Standing room felt awkward. Bartenders seemed annoyed and not too personable. I was appreciative of our server downstairs allowing us to order before last call. We didn t realize what time the kitchen closed - we were there around 10 pm. We ordered promptly. Tipped 25%. Food was VERY salty. The appetizer saved the meal - arancini is spectacular! Overall, it really was OK. We went for the experience. Might be tempted to try again but of course arriving much earlier.

The experience was far from pleasant. We were continually overlooked at the bar by all 3 bartenders on staff this evening. At first I assumed it was because the rooftop was very busy and packed with people. But after several times of making direct eye contact with different bartenders and beginning to speak to order drinks, people around us were serviced first as if we were invisible. Completely unprofessional and when we spoke up about this, one bartender s response was well, I just get who I see as if we were not visible and had not been visible at the front of the bar for 10 minutes. Definitely don t recommend coming here we certainly won t patron again. Not a good look for our first time at this establishment.

Went out with my girlfriends this past weekend and had a wonderful time. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs, Zutros, before going up to the rooftop. The food, I thought was okay and our server could have been more attentive. There also seemed to be a lack of staff in the restaurant. The rooftop, though, was a blast. The ambiance, the views, the service, everything overall was such a great experience. The bartenders were super friendly and drinks were super tasty. This one bartender, specifically, had such great character. If I recall, his name is Matthew and he was such a hoot. Super social and interactive and very quick with our drinks. Got to chatting it up and it was one of the best conversations I ve had in a while. Made my night and had a wonderful experience altogether.

Lovely views! However, the elevator took so long to come down to the ground level. We waited for nearly 12 minutes and only one elevator was in operation on Saturday. The bartender tried to service me a martini in a plastic cup which was a no for me. It was very cold and slightly windy on Saturday and they did not have headlamps which was shocking.

The views of downtown from up there are amazing!!! I think that s what everyone goes for. In comparison with other places in the area, the prices of drinks are reasonable. For the girls, I recommend bringing a jacket. It was so cold haha. Also, no vaping out there, not sure of the reason.

So the bar itself is great. Beautiful little quaint spot in downtown Houston with awesome decor and a chill ambiance. The idea of a rooftop bar with nothing else like it nearby is awesome as well, but if youre not there early enough to grab a spot to sit or you dont reserve a table, theres not much of an option. Very minimal seating, so as great as the views are, youll be standing the entire time youre there, which isnt that fun considering the drinks should be placed on a $$$ level. The food menu is small although the food is not bad (sliders recommended). Service is also pretty good and the bartenders are extremely friendly, but if you dont speak up, youll have to accept whats offered. Its worth a visit for the views, but plan for a drink and out or plan your night accordingly AHEAD of time.

My partner wanted to treat me to a nice dinner last night, being that he s been out of town, so I decided to go to this establishment. My first experience was so great so I expected nothing short. Immediately walking in I walked up to the bar to get a reminder of the seating policy. There was a young man and a young woman standing there and the woman had just the rudest demeanor about her, she watched me me try to figure things out, yet still ignoring me. I asked the question again to the guy and mentioned that I was alone and was going to do some work but I would like to eat and order drinks. I proceeded to sit in the corner and of course she s my waitress. She walks up and says in slickest tone, you want a menu, or you just working. I requested the menu, she she tells me that she is going to grab me water, while I m waiting to be served and she s standing in the doorway of the kitchen talking. Someone else is walking around filling water glasses comes to serve me. I waited 5-7 minutes, she returns, still being a snob, and ask for my order. While ordering I m being cut off in the way that the person takes the order knows my answers before I can get it out. When I finish she snatches the menu with two of her fingers out of my hand. Immediately I left. She ruined such a moment that was really needed for me. And ruined a amazing memory at that. Certain people do not deserve to be in positions of sort.

So we went in to do the rooftop dining. These people do not take care of their cushions before the rain. They were all wet. There were tables without chairs and when we asked the bartender for a chair so we could eat outside what we have is what you get very rudely, the dining experience when you look up rooftop it s supposed to be a rooftop dining experience and it wasn t that way at all. We were treated very unprofessionally and honestly, this was our anniversary dinner and I felt like it was ruined. He was trying to surprise me with something nice and this is how we were treated , the rooftop was not maintenance. There was hardly any tables with chairs and frankly the staff was very rude. Nice place to enjoy a cocktail or beer in a rooftop on Houston Downtown. We were there on Sunday around 4 pm and was plenty of space to sit. But later more people arrived, so, my recommendation is to arrive early to get a nice spot. The system is: you arrive, go to the bar, order your beverages and snacks and pick a place to sit. They give you the option to pay there or leave an open account. I liked that music was not loud and I was able to talk. Definitely a nice place to visit before or after having an activity in downtown like a concert, game or teather.

After ordering drinks and waiting for 45 minutes, I had to chase the server for the order. Only then we told them they dont have wine and a bunch of other stuff to make the drinks. If I didnt chase the server, they would have never been going to tell me they are having a problem. What a waste of time.

Came here on a Thursday night after returning back to our room after our event. We went to get a drink, the bartender helped us right away and our drinks were made well. This night was pretty chilly outside and gloomy so it wasnt ideal to be on the roof, there was no music playing. Not sure what was up with that. But it seems that during the summer months it probably is a really lively spot.

Ahhhhh! Was this place amazing! There website list them as voted one of the top instagrammable bars in Houston. They weren t wrong! The skyscrapers and sky view were to die for. It really showcased how beautiful Houston can be. We didn t have to have a reservation. There were quite a few people there whenever we arrived, but it wasn t an overwhelming amount of people. The menu had a wide variety. I ordered a few drinks and was very pleased. My favorite that I had was the Watermelon Wave Margarita. It was def better than most margaritas I ve had before. I will be back for a rooftop party soon!

Awful service. Ordered several drinks. Staff had an attitude and refused to allow us to turn the heat on when it was cold. Seems like the only criteria required to work here is having a bad attitude. Stay away!

It was a great quiet spot downtown to grab a bite and drinks. Waitresses was nice, they close a bit early during the week. It was MLK day so maybe that was the reason. Price point is fair for the area. Overall, Id return again to this establishment to lounge

This ar is amazing! Located on the 23rd floor, it has gorgeous views of downtown. The staff is very friendly and efficient, making everyone feel welcome. Even the doormen downstairs are friendly! Highly recommended!

Came here in my last night in Houston. Views are good but nothing to die for. Wasn t busy and felt the staff could ve walked around and taken order. Could not do many cocktails which was a little disappointing. Also some of the patio heaters ran out of propane and were not replaced which was a little of a buzzkill for the girls that I was with as it was a little chilly that night. Overall I would do it again but only if they do better.

Atmosphere was nice other than they only had 2 heaters & it was chilly. Employees were rude and did not provide bottle service. One employee was talking bad about the spinach and artichoke dip even though i was enjoying it. They kicked everyone out at 10pm for bad weather but the weather was just fine. It was very frustrating tbh because we went here for a date thinking it was gonna be high class and it was honestly ghetto and disappointing. Also parking garage was closed, not sure why but had to park 2 blocks away and walk.
