First time at The Davenport Lounge and it did not disappoint from all the folks who recommended to go see Laken(the owner) and her wonderful establishment those folks were absolutely right with their recommendations. My wife and I have been looking for a place to call home and the Davenport Lounge did not disappoint. Drinks and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for .not pretentious or any of the such. Bar staff and patrons were regular everyday folk and we loved it. Look forward to meeting again .thank you for the hospitality Davenport Lounge.

The drinking is fine. The drinks are strong, not overpowering.Great cucumber martini. Decent beer. Great taste.Great ambiance. The food... Another story. They bring a taco guy in the back patio. 5.00 Tacos. Whyyyy? I asked him about the salsa. He said: It dont need any. Reallyyy? Like... really??? No other reason. No explanation. Big chunky onion. Big chunks of tomato. No avocado ; But it dont need any salsa. At 5.00 a taco. You can do better. Get a taco truck. Any taco truck.

Sooooo much liquor. And more liquor... Martini menu is awesome. Especially for coffee lovers aka espresso martinis. Open til 2am every single day of the week. Specials of course. Dim lights. Cozy little place. Definitely the best bar bar around. If you love martinis you need to go here!!! Side note, Ive been here three times and twice my credit card was charged for an extra drink. Both times the bartender fixed at least upon me bringing it up. But, please be more cautious with customers cards! Or I guess Ill just pay cash going forward...

Definitely not your average bar. The bartenders and owners here make drink making an art. Not only are the drinks delicious but, they absolutely have a kick! The crowd and staff is eclectic and accepting of everyone. Davs is a great date night for a couple and a fun place to go out with your friends from work or go stag and meet some new friends . The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. They have a variety of fun entertainment and parties with different themes! Just dont take the corner seat at the end of the bar, some grumpy bish regular lady thinks she owns it.

I love the Davenport crew. This place is so nice. I love coming almost every Wednesday. The bartenders are always incredibly sweet and make great drinks. I love that they sometimes have charity shots as well. Thats always amazing. Its such a loving and warming atmosphere. Im always there on Wednesdays where they have nice karaoke set up with Mama Cass and sometimes drag bingo Sometimes when it comes to bars, theres always trouble. But Ive never had a single issue at Davenport. Everyone has been so wonderful, and supportive. Its a very accepting and loving crowd. Yall should come on out and check it out if you wanna place the chill and have a great vibe all night.

Bartender literally said he couldn t serve me because i looked drunk I hadn t even had a drink at all. He actually appeared to be drunk himself. I was very offended by this because I had brought friends who were visiting from out of town and they were actually digging this place until this happened. I will never return there. We were ready to spend money but Davenports loss due to their prejudging bartender. I will never recommend this place to anyone or bring friends back. Don t go to this place, bartenders are prejudging customers. VERY OFFENDED by this whole incident smh.

This is a great, hidden little place. I went during the week and it was not crowded at all. I could see weekends filling the place up. The drinks are done well and there is plenty of variety for their signature drinks, or you can simply get one of the old staples. Seeing a bartender show genuine care for their craft is refreshing to watch. The was pleasant to interact with as well. If you want a cozy place to get a drink, this is it. The only beef I have is that there wasnt any sort of food or snack options, which would make me more inclined to stay longer.
