My partner & I are in town for the holidays from Salt Lake City & were told about Time Out Tavern. Everything that was mentioned by the Uber driver was on point. The atmosphere was chill AF, theres a male bartender with braids who gave exceptional customer service not to mention the door guy was down to earth with a lot of knowledge & that bearded. WOOF! With that said there was a female bartender who could use A LOT of coaching conversations by management as her rudeness was never asked for & customer service lacked. I still give this bar five stars & will recommend it to others.

The lady bartender with the black hair was perhaps the most inconsiderate bartender I have ever met. When we came in we met some friends at a table, after which we went to the bar to order drinks. When we got to the bar, we got the attention of the bartender, who immediately asked us where we were sitting. We were confused, since you only order drinks at the bar, but showed her where our table was. Immediately she told us we were cut off, which confused us as no one had even ordered yet and no one had even had a drink that day. She proceeded to tell us that we didn t match their vibe and would need to move. As we protested, she said our pleas would only be held against us and we needed to move. Confused and upset we left, determined to demonstrate our distaste for this place to which we had been going for years. We witnessed her cut off the two tables next to us as well, a few minutes after taking shots with frat boys. Avoid this place at ALL cost.

This is our go to place. We always come when we get together for holidays. They cut us off after 2 drinks and when we asked why they just said we like to be careful. Think they just wanted us to leave. Won t come back and not happy about it. You can t cut people off because you want to go home early.

Love this place and the atmosphere is great, bartenders are fun and friendly! But wasn t expecting a Michelob Ultra to be $12.00 a bottle given the dive bar hole in the wall vibe. Otherwise I recommend.

Best experience I ve ever had at a bar full stop. If you ve seen cheers, imagine that level of familiarity and appreciation. Super relaxed atmosphere. Sound system is amazing, there s pool, and shuffleboard! and tvs to watch sports. Danny is The Man, Brittany is a badass, and cackie is an under-appreciated entrepreneur. 10/10

Amazing service from the bar team. Very friendly and welcoming. I have been here only a few times and they recongnize me with open arms. A lot of tvs to watch games and great music system. They have a nice pool table as well. Great variety in drinks.

Starting off by saying its all negative, roaches in the bathroom, a rat crawling from their backdoor, and no Employees must wash their hands signage in the bathroom. The bar staff is improperly trained by the TABC, unable to recognize neighboring states identification. Would like to state the bar has been reported to the TABC for confiscating and destroying a valid federal ID. Reflecting a destruction of personal property and vandalism. To be followed by legal action. Highly recommend choosing a cleaner more informed bar.

I loved this place! Everything was great form the atmosphere, to the service. The prices were very affordable and they had a terrific selection. Great family-owned feel among the staff and customers. Our bartender (Aaron) was super knowledgeable and friendly without coming off too pushy. He had great drink suggestions and everything he made was awesome. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a quick drink or wants to hang with their friends at the bar.

Gross, moldy, leftover smoke smell Old, and not maintained to preserve its history nicely Extremely dusty--Like caked up dust hanging from the ceiling and vents A plus is they have reverse Happy Hour. But I think its a place others really like to hang out. Its just not at all for me.

This place has great vibes! Came down after work on a Wednesday - bartender was super kind and attentive. Definitely got the vibe that this is where the locals go to hang out. Not packed, but a great mix of people - everyone brought something different to the table! Clearly all ages, races, and sexual orientations welcome. I can see me making this my new local haunt. Parking is directly out front and extends next door after 6pm.

Its a nice small bar with a good vibe and feeling to the old things. The price is moderate and there are some nice games available if you want to enjoy some gaming while drinking and chatting. It seems to be also a nice place for lovebirds xD

Being a person with a Service Animal, which I know most people don t see often out at bars but we like to have fun too lol I gotta day this bar was sweet. No hassle in regards to my Service Animal. Quite the opposite actually! The staff here were constantly bringing a little bucket filled with water for him since it was so hot. Great service, liked the environment and we had a good time. So thank you for your great service Time Out I appreciate it.

I love this bar! I m a fan of dive bars around the country. I look for them wherever I travel. This place is unique, comfortable, homey, and fun. I met the owner, Aaron, and he was super cool. Turns out we had some mutual friends in the area. I think I ve found my new Dallas home base.
