I forgot to take pictures of the awesome drinks we had but this place is my favorite! I love the atmosphere both inside and upstairs. The staff are beyond awesome and welcoming. I have not had any issues here since I found this gem. I would recommend to anyone if they want great food and great drinks! Thanks for always being the best in EaDo!

I was at this place once by invitation. My friend was celebrating her birthday here. Well, this is a bar, so you cant expect a vast variety of food choices. However, the food they have is pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty the tacos were. The drinks are multiple and pretty good, too. The place is quite small. It seems to be pretty popular because a lot of people come here, even with kids. Hence, parking can be a headache. The service is quite speedy, and all the staff are very attentive and polite. Overall, I can recommend this place if you like a noisy bar atmosphere and love drinking :).

A great bar with a laid-back atmosphere, the terrasse is quite enjoyable at the end of a hot day to enjoy the sunset. The drinks are tasty, the beer is cold and the music is good. What more can you ask for? The food is not too pricy and looks delicious, but I didnt get to try it.

The cocktails were very good. The atmosphere and music were good. It s also a dog-friendly place! They have a nice terrace which is nice when you want to enjoy the sunset. Good evening my name is Basilio. I faced discrimination visiting this property. A man told me I was speaking chinese then laughed about it and walked out a restroom. A witness walked up to me noticing this malicious behavior. The witness was one of few black visitors. I am Mediterranean and speak a Mediterranean language. Manager savanaah subjected me to being refused to stay here after making a purchase. Savannah accused me of making people uncomfortable. How do i know savannah and this other man that mocked me dont know eachother. Despicable and spiteful behavior was observed

Wasnt aware of this place until recently. Pleasantly surprised with it. Local to the heights area. Local ambiance and fits the decor and style. I think the location was likely an old garage/gas station because of the location and feel. The drinks are spot on. The atmosphere fits the intent of the pace. Parking fairly good but can be busy. Outdoor seating is pretty good as well. There is limited food option but what they service is pretty good. Definitely recommended and good local area establishment to have happy hours.

The wife and I love this place but the down side is that they had a change in staff an interaction w a bartender was off putting totally dismissive stood on the side by the food door and she waited on 2 others to order when they told her to tend to us she said aloud they can wait as my buddy tried to get her attention again he so subtlety cross a line on the floor and told him with a smug smile to to wait behind the line she must have been having a bad day but seriously the smugness of her was caca bartender has rainbow frame glasses we will continue going but might avoid if we see her working the shift

First time I tried this place. Guy at the bar was so dead not very friendly. I was hoping to eat and have a drink here but their inside space is limited the menu is small and if you sit outside there are a ton of heaters but I guess they don t want to turn them on. I freezed my butt off so I just had a seltzer and left. Small bar like place , won t be back .

Been here a while back and recently read they had one of the best burgers in Houston. Being born and raised in Houston and a burger lover I had to come check it out. I went with the happy hour beer and good old fashioned cheeseburger with extra patty. Hands down the burger was fire and along with the beer a perfect afternoon combo. Definitely recommend the burger and beer plus everything else was stellar. Chris was great and all staff in kit hen did amazing.

First time to stop in, but it certainly wont be my last. The toco I had was really very good, and the coffee was fresh. Our server was very pleasant, and what to me is a rarity, seemed guinely happy to serve us. This is a great plus in getting return business. We truely were made to feel welcomed as people. A chill spot to come grab drinks or small bites. We set on the roof top which was nice as you can see the skyline of Houston. The waiters provide great service and give good recommendations. The old fashion was decent. Would have preferred one block of ice. The margarita with Tajin around the rim was really good! I highly recommend the Brussel Sprout taco ! It was different and surprisingly good! I do feel for the price you are paying for the taco it should ve been bigger than a street taco or given two for the price.

Met some friends for holiday happy hour visit. Great party atmosphere. Hard to visit on the outdoor patio, a bit noisy (where we were sitting maybe)? Great nachos with added Brussel Sprouts! Not too impressed with the drink sizes for the price. Lots of ICE in the drinks. Small glass size for a beer that was not quite cold enough to serve. Give it a try though!

A great little bar with a fun food truck menu! If youre into whiskey, then this is definitely the place to visit! They have a huge selection of different alcohol, but their whiskey selection is truly the star of this bar. #JoeFoodTour After a last-minute meeting cancellation, called a client to have lunch. His criteria was for an outdoor dining experience on a day when the weather was fantastic. Oddly enough I ran into you a good friend in our business networking group who just finished lunch across the way. Great laid back bar but DO NOT park across Yale, EVER. You will get towed. Lesson learned. The tow sign is poorly placed and not immediately visible. There is a spotter that watches the lot. If you park across Yale and walk across to Eight Row, you will 100% get towed. Be warned, dont make the mistake I did. The No Parking sign is not obvious when you enter the lot. Its posted on the side as you exit.

First time and most likely my last. First, the location is nice, the indoor/outdoor space is large and welcoming, and they have a great selection of spirits. The reason I most likely will not return and the reason for only 3 stars is that I ordered two Happy Hour Margaritas at the bar when there were only 3 other customers; both drinks were very well made. After meeting a friend and staying a little longer, I eventually cashed out and left. The next day I noticed that I was charged $27 for the two Happy Hour Margaritas instead of $14. I doubt it was an oversight considering it was early in the day and only a few customers were present. For me, its less of a monetary issue and more so about business practices. Too bad, as we enjoyed ourselves. Update . . . management reached out shortly after I posted this review, explained the misunderstanding, and resolved the situation. I have changed my overall review from 3 -5 s as a result.

Im into bourbon and tequila myself so Ive always been able to enjoy one of my faves or something new. They also have drinking games if youre nice and toasty and feeling lucky! For $5 you can win an expensive/excellent pour, a terrible pour(campari...ugh), or nothing! LOL, but its all in good fun.

They have a long list of drink options ranging from beer, whiskey, tequila, etc! The food here is also fantastic. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the elote! The service was also great. If you like margaritas, I suggest trying the West Texas Sotol one, it s unique with a smoky flavor (due to it being Sotol).

Ok I need to start this with Sorry Mom Ok this Bar is amaze balls! They have everything buuut if you are a Scotch Bourbon or Whiskey drinker, Boy howdy is this the place for you! I ended up here in search of lunch which yes they have it and it is not to be played with! Someone in the back knows what they are doing! I had pork skins (which were fresh) and tacos no sauces needed everything was delicious! Oh get Five bucks ready for the ring toss! What s that you ask? I d love to tell you lol! So get a ring and toss it, if it goes on a bottle you get a shot if not there is a surprise I ll let the bartenders tell you about! Great place, great people, great food, great service, wicked great drinks!

You aren t allowed to park your own car and have to pay to valet to drive your car 10 feet into a parking spot and if you try parking anywhere near by they will tow your car.

Tried this place out because was visiting a friend nearby , all the brunch places were full so thought why not. Got our order wrong making one of the group wait an extra 15mins for thier meal, no substitute for how eggs are cooked. Not actually authentic food, their twist on the genre strayed from traditional in the ways its actually made. Tamales are not warmed properly felt like it was an icebrick. Flies swarming the air. I know this is a bar but it shouldnt have this high of a rating. Temper your expectations if you are thinking it cant be that bad.
