I used Mary for some headshots and was very pleased with the results. She used a variety of backgrounds and poses to give me multiple options, some more formal than others. She helped me feel relaxed and fabulous. Her pricing is both transparent and fair. Ive received many compliments on the photos, and highly recommend her work.

Earlier this year (2022) I decided I needed new business headshots as I was retiring from my current career and looking to embark in a different direction. I wanted to update my online business profile photos as well. I searched online for someone with good reviews, that showed they worked with all ages, and was fairly near me. I found Mary Barnett. Mary was incredible! Very professional, friendly, open to questions and suggestions, and extremely creative. She has a very good eye for composition. While I wasnt looking to have her make me look 20 again, I did need a photo that didnt broadcast me as an older worker. Well, she delivered above and beyond. She took a very good number of photos to select from which made it difficult to just chose a couple. Making Marys job even easier was Eliza Pooler, hair & makeup artist. I was hesitant to add this service to my session because Ive never found a makeup artist that doesnt want to just treat me as an older woman who should not wear much makeup. I always end up looking older. Well, Eliza turned out to be just the opposite. She listened to everything I wanted, took my suggestions and she is a huge part of the success of this photo shoot. Mary and Eliza make a great team! If I ever need makeup and hair for a special event, Im calling Eliza. I believe I got what I paid for and more. I will be 70 in less than a year and I feel these photos do not show that at all yet they look like me.

Mary Barnett is one of the best photographers around! Shes creative, super fun & professional. Ive purchased many products from her and they are all top quality! She took my sons senior pictures, my daughters senior pictures and our family pictures. Ive been thrilled with every session! Mary Barnett has taken many truly amazing photos of our family over the years. Most recently, she took Graduation photos of our youngest daughter and she truly captured her youth and spirit. Mary is wonderful to work with, creative with settings and truly listened to our vision of the output. For any major family photo shoot, Mary is the ONLY photographer we will use. I wish there were 6 Stars, because 5 Stars isnt good enough to show what an awesome job she does. Then again, if you look at the collection of her work, it speaks for itself. Mary Barnett is hands down the best photographer in Round Rock. I am so thankful we decided to make the investment in senior photos with her as we got more than we could have imagined. I am very picky about photography. Does it look natural but not cheap? Do the locations and backgrounds look unique? Do the subjects look their best while still looking like themselves? I think Mary has a very unique talent to select locations that represent the individual style of the subject and coordinate them with the outfits of the subject s choice. She is very fun to work with and makes you feel comfortable in what is a typically awkward situation. Her end result are photos that capture not just the beauty of the person/people in the photograph but that also show off their unique personalities as well. She photographed our senior a few times over the course of the year and I was blown away every time. The quality of her prints is top notch as is her personal packaging and presentation of everything she does. I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for the best of the best in personal photography.

There is simply no better photographer in the Greater Austin area. Mary has photographed all three of my seniors (two boys and girl) and she has exceeded my expectations every time!
