Cowboy Surfer Kingwood is an awesome place for many occasions. A great place for a simple spur of the moment happy hour or an evening out with that special someone. They have live music and a great dance floor along with pool, darts and shuffle board. It really is the perfect place for any occasion. They have a great drink menu, like the Felony Melanie. I highly recommend checking out Cowboy Surfer. We will definitely go back a lot! Cheers!!

My favorite Establishment in Houston. We live and work close by, and would much rather come here than go into the city. I had my 40th Birthday there with 100 people, and we had such a great time. They treated us so well and will be a returning customer for the years ahead. They have treated us like Family since we met them as business neighbors in 2021

Loved it. Great atmosphere, good, friendly service, decor is fun and unique. Music stage - think small Mucky Duck! Darts. Be advised: is a $10.00 membership is required. Odd for our area, as its not a dry part if town, byt I understand it. Ut isnt a large space.. we will definitely be going back! We are again guving this place a 5 star review. Today is 5/10/2024

There is no way to tell from the outside how incredible this place is!!! The LIVE BAND on Thursdays is INCREDIBLE!!! Pack of Strays just brings the house down! The burgers, the drinks, are 5/5 stars Holy cow this place is so neat and tidy that you forget its a bar. I think this might be the cleanest bar establishment Ive ever been to. Its an undercover great time!!

Had a great time listening to great music by Mike Stinson. The waitstaff was courteous and attentive. It s a listening room and the sound engineer was great! Lovely bathrooms but it s a bit chilly inside. I always bring a jacket!

New favorite place to! I needed a place to have a drink and catch up with a friend. PERFECT place! Small and unassuming secret place in a busy area. We were a bit nervous before we walked in because of the window paintings and the fact it was in a strip center. Soo glad we gave it a try! Attentive bartender. Drinks served in nice glassware. Great live music (Magnolia Brothers.) We didn t try the food, but it looked good, served in the red picnic baskets to other patrons.

Love this place the staff is friendly. You do need to become a member before being served it doesnt cost anything they just do it because its a neighborhood bar but they have shows almost every day of the week and GREAT drinks. Very lay back cocktail bar. Service

We caught a live music act, great sounds, and a cute stage. We didnt order food but several people around us did, smelled tasty. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. Be prepared to show your ID and sign up for a free membership. They require you to be a member in order to operate, I believe its their proximity to certain businesses and schools. Im looking forward to going back.

Love the Cowboy Surfer, but it portrays itself as a music venue, and it s too long and skinny and small to seat people in a proper manner, and upon which to watch music. The bands coming through are few and far between. They obviously did the best they can with what they were given, which is a very skinny spot in a strip mall. The atmosphere is great, the customers are great as it is a local bar for the memorial area. Of course I keep going back.

Great hidden gem, the store front is very deceptive . Amazing staff, great liquor selection, short-order bar bites, and a quality micro sound stage for the music aficionados. Best open mic in the area hands down. Ask for John, he never fails.

Definitely unexpected. The drinks were great, the customer service was enthusiastic, and the customers were much younger than I anticipated. I honestly thought it would be a crowd of older people that were trying to recreate their younger years in a bar they created, based on their website. But apparently its their 22-29 yr old children they opened this bar for. My daughters (27 &28) loved it! NOTE: live music is only Monday -Thursday. I wish they had an interactive jukebox but we will be back. I didnt try the food, so thats next one list.

I didnt like the layout of this bar. You have the bar and some seating if you are with people. If youre alone and dont find a spot at the bar, well I guess you can stand around or sit at a table by yourself. The location is strange. Its clean though.

We had hummus & chips + pretzel sticks with some sort of sauce (see picture). Both were delicious! My friend had a frou frou drink and liked it. The dart board area could use some love (lighting & better quality scoreboards, in particular), but the game was playable there. I really like the place and will be back!

My husband and I stumbled into this little bar after a concert last Friday night! It was lively and had a great vibe. Definitely a casual but fun place! The staff was friendly and attentive. We just had drinks but they did have a menu for food. It was mostly bar type food but looked good! There was a setup for a band but there wasn t any live music playing but it was pretty late. However, I loved the music they were playing! Had a great 80 s playlist on! This is a great spot for people watching! Definitely looking forward to returning!

The drinks were delicious and the food, while simple and of somewhat limited variety, was very tasty. Unfortunately the service was horrendously slow. It even took a good 10 minutes once they brought us our bill to come back to pick it up. If they can improve their service, this would be a super cool place to come hang out. The vibe is fun and funky and the drinks really are delicious.

Cool little treasure in 77024. Located directly across the street from the professional buildings near the hospital. This bar is friendly and fun! The happy hour prices are reasonable, Keith & Maggie are very attentive and the space is cozy. The walls are filled with nostalgic photos, there are TVs throughout to watch the Astros (or whatever), there is a small stage for the live music & open mic nights and 2 dart boards in the back portion of the bar with extra seating. This review cant be complete without mentioning the great mix of music. Its a good spot to sit and Shazam tunes to add to your music library. In the couple hours I was there, I heard CCR, Waylon Jennings, Cody Jinks, George Jones and Chris Stapleton. 70s, true country and Texas country all mixed together. I did not try any of the food, so I will have to return to check that out along with open mic night on Wednesdays. One more thing I typically dont mention in my reviews: toilet paper. They have great toilet paper! Well done, guys! I will return.
