I found this place driving by and needing to do my homework to study. And let me tell you! Bay baaayyy this place is EVERYTHING!! I have officially added coming to this place at least once a week to study and chill. So, I stop in the first night and was like ok this is a vibe, so I decided to come back again the next night. Why not? Right! Anywho, I come back the second night and its even better. They have live music and the lead singer is sanging like the rent is due yall! I mean I had to stop what I was doing to pay attention to this man sing and then he made his own trumpet sounds during the jazz break of this particular song and I mean phenomenal. They have other nights like latin night and stuff, but if you want a chill place with GREAT drinks and good food this is the place. I love the grilled artichoke and charred lemons and the calamari.

We went for Drag Bingo and the brunch was phenomenal! We werent expecting to be outside but they do a really good job in the peak heat of Houston with industrial fans all around. Super fun show. If you are shy.... Dont win bingo! Lol

My boyfriend and I went for drag bingo and it was an amazing time. First things first, the buffet was so good. Literally everything I tried was absolutely delicious and I tried everything. The queens who hosted and performed were phenomenal. They kept the energy up for three hours and never let it get dull or boring. I cant say enough good things about the experience except I cant wait to do it again.

Happy to review as a supporter of local drag. This drag show will get you in a good mood. My review is drag brunch focused. The quality of the buffet food is nothing compared to what they have on their other menus. Also the cost is $39 per person plus a 20% gratuity included. That s the downfall as your service could be hit or miss depending on your sever. Expect scrambled eggs with potatoes, cold cut fruit, cold bacon and some more variety. The food is not up to par for the cost (strictly brunch buffet). On the other hand the drag show is A1. I d recommend coming to eat here for dinner as their fries to share are staple here. i recommend ordering frozen mojito carafes to share for large groups.

Its a very nice place, I would definitely recommend it for late-night drinks in a relaxed environment. I was not amused by the automatic 20% upcharge for service... just raise the prices! Its so much less shady that way. I dont think the difference between a 10$ and 12$ drink is going to scare anyone away. No one likes to be surprised by a bill that is higher than what they thought it would be.

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! I have attended Boheme several times and decided to celebrate my 30th birthday there this past Sunday for their drag brunch. I went to the restroom and was walking back to my table when i bumped into friends and said hi. As i was chatting, a security guard came up behind me rather aggressively yelling to get out so i turned to figure out what was going on and he yelled at me more not to come near him or touch him when he was the one in my personal space. So as I m trying to figure out what s going on he just kept yelling that the bartender wanted us out and i kept trying to say i have a table but he kept pushing us out to the exit. We asked for the manger several times and were met with hostility. I never got to finish my food, see the full show, or get my things that were at the table. Luckily my full party was there to get them for me but definitely do not recommend going here at all! It was such an awful experience and so embarrassing, i have never in my life been escorted out of an establishment and especially on my birthday celebration, it was handled so disgustingly!!

The entertainment did NOT disappoint. The paying process was a disaster however. Our server kept trying to charge us for extra items and the food was very disappointing. Cold and bleh. The French toast tasted like a sweet potato as did the carrots. There were only 2 items that were hot and good.

It is very disappointing this establishment forces their tip for service on every transaction. No choice No option. Especially at night when the bar is going they try to tell you but only after you have given them your card and ran the transaction. Poor sad way to do business, it appears this is how they pay for labor costs. The owner responds below . They miss the point! outrageous pricing. my bill came out to almost $200 for two people including a mandatory tip of 20%. i was charged twice on my card. once for the bill and another for $20 which i wasn t aware of since we didn t order anything else. we were told by our waiter that the second charge of $20 would be refunded to us that same day. it still hasn t been refunded and i myself have tried calling this place and no response. extremely upset at all the ridiculous charges. i don t mind tipping but a 20% gratuity charge without my consent is not okay.

BEWARE. This was one of the worst brunch experiences of my life- as an actual group of gay men (and trust me, we were one of the only groups of gay men at this establishment), and from out of town, we had high expectations for Boheme on our last day in Houston which was recommended by several friends. We attended the Sunday Brunch for a birthday party. Unfortunately as the gays do, several of our group of 10 were too hungover to join, but we mustered 6 to attend. Slightly weary of the buffet breakfast idea, we assumed at $50 after tax and forced gratuity, the cost of a filet mignon at a nice restaurant, it would be an upscale buffet? We arrived to everyone lining up as soon as they arrived to a huge snaking buffet line, but figured we d wait until the line dies down. Surely at $50 a pop, they d have plenty of good food to go around? NOPE! After getting in line with our first drink, we arrived to the front of the buffet line to find empty bins full of unwanted food. They were completely out of the biscuits and gravy we d all said we most wanted. The rest of the food was ill presented, cold, and something out of a continental breakfast at a Day s Inn. The pictures speak for themselves. I guess this explains the mad rush of the locals for the buffet line, but as out of towners with no warning, we were left to the scrapyard. Upon asking if the biscuits and other food would be restocked (sorry, they re out! Shoulda got in line sooner), they brought out a few extra unwanted dishes and made special appetizers just for us (fries with sriracha squirted on top and what appeared to be a sub from White Castle - see pictures). At $50 a pop we were all left feeling completely taken for, and it ruined our morning. We decided to close out early and head elsewhere as the drag brunch was not really for gay men (we felt like the only group there), it was more of a bachelorette party kind of place. Upon closing out, (and mind you we also spent about $200-300 additional in drinks and pitchers), we were informed that they would be charging us another $200 ($50 each) for the 4 people that didn t show up!!! OUTRAGEOUS. We had tried to change the reservation earlier but they wouldn t let us within 24 hours, but figured with the buffet running out of food they couldn t possibly charge us for people that didn t even attend it. The manager Saylie came over after asking to speak with her, and she was downright rude and condescending to us, refusing to not charge for the 4 people that didn t show up even after our experience and how much we d spent on drinks. Her words? If we do it for you, we d have to do it for everyone - yes Saylie! I would expect good food and if expectations aren t met for you to make up for that, for everyone. After persistence she only charged us for two additional people, but we still left feeling swindled and she glared at us menacingly until we left the brunch, we did not feel welcome. Don t forget service is not optional and brunch ended up costing close to $150 each. Sad that we have to give at least one star, but I ll say it was for the Frozen Mojito pitchers which were great, but not worth stomaching any of this food or the service. If you re a group looking for your fun delicious Sunday Brunch, AVOID! Be aware that if you book this place on a whim, you re locked into $50 a person no matter how many you show up with 24 hours before. Go patronize one of the many actual gay establishments in Montrose that isn t using drag queens as bait to take advantage of unsuspecting customers with a cheap hotel breakfast.

Went to Brunch and had a great time. The only drawback was having to stand in line so long to get to the buffet. It was possibly that I waited so long for the line to die down and the food was subpar, but admittedly I am very picky about my food, but there was very nice assortment of melons, which were delicious. And I did think the brisket was very good as well. Other than that, they kept the flights of Mimosa, and there was a good assortment, filled and everyone was working hard to bus tables and keep things clean. It was my first time attending a drag show, and it did not disappoint! Friendly, funny, and the costumes were excellent.

Well what can I say ! A lot I went last Sunday for brunch to celebrate my friend s birthday, it was my first time at this place and OMG what I was missing. They have a super drag show that I loved it, food was amazing ( didn t expect it ) to be honest but it was delicious. Service was great, sadly I don t remember my waitress s name. But I want to give a big shut up to the Manager Saily !!! I hope I spelled it right, excellent service girl, I really appreciated the fact that you let us use the wine room to cut the cake. Horrible experience !! Poor service, we asked more than 5 times for basic condiments - chili flakes and aioli to 3 different staff members plus our server. Imagine we got these condiments almost after 20 minutes, will my flat bread stay warm till then - No!! I was left with last slice of flat bread and even then I got mayo not a aioli dip as I asked for. About this 20% service I only came to know when I calculated in my mind after PAYING how the bill was so much and then I asked the server to give me itemized receipt , reviewing same I was like seriously 20% gratuity without my consent you sneaked from me !! On top of all this when I expressed the manager about service level and uninformed 20% gratuity ( who was our server as well), she was not at all apologetic- even after taking gratuity, for me she was a CHEAT!! As we only came to know about this 20% gratuity only when I asked for a receipt after paying the check, so this place manager misleads and not at warm enough on her behavior. Yes, I am talking about this curly/ noodle hair women, watch her out when she hand you the swipe machine to pay with her fraud smile!! A very good place to dance and have a good time with friends. We went on a Friday Latin night. It was a group of 7 people. We were having a great time, but when I went to get a drink a got profiled by the bartender. Without knowing us, he was stating that one of us was drunk. I asked for the manager and he did the same and also assumed that we were bar hoping and that we were probably drinking in another places. That he served us before, and that couldnt be possible because we just got there. He was rude so was the bartender. We were a group with ages ranging from 45 to 53, and responsible. To make long story short, we will never go back and I suggest to everyone reading this to not go there. Was a really bad experience

Ooofff. Car window got broken into literally around the corner of front door across street! EVEN THOUGH I KEEP MOST OF THE CAR EMPTY... they broke the window, moved my towel over to find.... my straw hat for work. Yeah they left it. If you go anywhere, and see glass on the floor or gutter, move to another spot. Not worth 237 dollars to replace window. As for the bar, the drinks were great! Service was amazing. Normally I love this place and today I decided to give drag brunch a try. The charge to see the show is $35 and you get the show and buffet brunch. Great deal no problem. I came with a group of 3 and NO ONE wanted to eat unfortunately. I asked how that would work and the manager told me that if I wasn t going to eat I could sit in the bar area next to the designated party area. We ordered from the front bar a bottle of wine , 2 espresso martinis and 2 margaritas . Well over $100. 20 minutes into the show the manager comes over and requests $10 per person that wants to see the show?!!!!! We refused to pay that simply because we felt discriminated and never informed. Then she proceeded to tell us that we had to take our wine and drinks inside because the show isn t free. Wow! If this would have been stated in the beginning it wouldn t have been an issue. $10 per person to support my queens, no problem!!! I feel like there should have been communication of this at the front door. Kinda seemed like she just wanted money from us since we declined brunch. Very unprofessional! Maybe she was tired because she looked it, but that s no reason to take it out on a patron! Money is never the problem is it s communicated period. Not sure I would go back If I do please have some kind of organization with this. The prices you charge aren t cheap! Let s not act that way. Manager claims we were rude! Yes we were after we were harassed for $10. If you re going to truly want our patronage an apology would be nice instead of blaming us for your miscommunication.

Atmosphere 7/10 Nice atmosphere - nothing was really outstanding inside Drinks 7/10 Solid cocktails. Had Blizz and Old fashioned. Again - had better, but good enough to have one if you re in the area Service 5/10 Friendly bartender but the paper menu was soaked in water (?) and not really pleasant to read or touch Price 9/10 $14 for a good cocktail is almost unbeatable

Even though the place was a nice outing I was disappointed with a few things. We were under the impression that the live band was going to start after 7 me thinking shortly there after but not 2 -1/2 hours later. I had a nice seat indoors not knowing that they would put a speaker just over my head for the music, it got real tight and loud so we moved outside and didn t know the the outside speakers weren t connected to the band. So it was hear it loud or at a distance. This is s cashless place and I don t like that I m forced to give a automatically added 20%. Luckily the service was worth that plus the additional I gave.

Excellent time! Came here for Saturday brunch with Loteria for my sisters birthday and it was so much fun. Great food, host was funny and entertaining and kept the crowd engaged. Drinks were also really good. Moms day out- don t being the kiddies because this is for the adults only.

I recently went to Boheme with my friend . This isn t my first time going and each time I have an amazing experience. However I never use this but I feel like I have to I was racially discriminated against and it sucks because this is a place I take my friends but the male bartender was so rude and also unpleasant even my friend said what s wrong with that guy . I am a food blogger and I normally go to this place with my friends and coworkers but after this weird interaction i had Sunday i am not sure i will be back. There was a vendor in the establishment selling delta/ thc a products which are legal here like pre rolls, gummies, and seltzers. Assuming that there is a vendor selling this things you would think you are able to open the things you buy and smoke outside. We were respectful because we know people don t like smoke so we sat far from people. A lady that worked there came up to us with a stuck up face and said we couldn t smoke outside when there was other people smoking outside and we were like okay and didn t give any pushback. I feel as if she assumed how our response would be because of how we looked and the fact that it was different she was acting weird the rest of the time we were there.Even when we went to close our tab the bartender was very nice but he took our seltzer and then gave it back when we told him we brought it from the vendor. He apologized so that s why my review isn t about him but the lady with the bun in her head. Basically the moral of this is maybe y all should double check the vendors you allow to be at your establishment and what they sell because y all acted like we just made our owns rules when that wasn t the case, we brought these things from a vendor in your establishment. If you don t like it, don t have people at your place selling those type of products

Downside: the brunch food was honestly really disappointing. It looked like it would be yummy but the chicken was dry, biscuits dry, carrots undercooked, brisket was dry.. nothing was great. The service was pretty slow. I think the servers were all working really hard but there just werent enough of them. Had to wait forever anytime we wanted to order a drink, but then werent allowed to go up to the bar to order? That was frustrating. Upside: most of the queens were very entertaining! One of them was just ehh, didnt feel like she cared to do much besides walk around and grab money. For the most part, the show was great. The atmosphere in general was very fun and they did a great job involving the crowd and everyone celebrating a special event. All in all, the only thing that would keep me from coming back is the amount of money spent vs the quality of service and food. Definitely never doing brunch again.

Ordered a simple scotch and water only to find out it was $17! Added to the bill was a credit card fee, a 20% tip which I had no choice in, so a couple of drinks and an appetizer ended up being nearly $100 for two people. No wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night.
