This is my favorite spot in downtown but I can t find the days when the red room is open? Can anyone tell me what days the red room is open? I went last Friday night and it was closed thanks.

Tonight, me and my friends stood at the bar for approximately 15 minutes. Both of the bartenders completely ignored us, and when we questioned about us being skipped over, both of the bartenders shrugged their shoulders and proceeded to help out the others who clearly came in after us. I couldn t help but notice the other customers looked differently than us and it s quite obvious why they were showed favoritism. I will never return to this establishment and I encouraged any minorities to stay clear of this place.

The entrance is nice but it was very empty and dull. The drinks are cute but expensive. Like several others mentioned, theres a step in one of the back rooms that isnt obvious, especially since its so dim. Unfortunately, it was my first time and I tripped and fell. I hurt my hand. At least one of the workers checked on me. Def ruined my night a little. Not the vibe I was going for.

Applause to the person who took the videos and photos of this place. They make it look too cool. Its actually quite normal. There are two rooms and a secret door. Nothing out of the ordinary. You really have to be careful where you walk, there are steps that arent visible. I tripped and hurt myself on a light switch. The atmosphere doesnt invite you to have a good time at all. I didnt get what I expected. I had high expectations. Im not from Houston, and for my first time, I was quite disappointed. I dont recommend it.

Great little speakeasy in downtown. While visiting with a friend, we did notice that the security prevented some people that had had way too many drinks from coming back in so that made us feel confident and safe, knowing that they do monitor that kind of thing and it keeps the environment pretty friendly. Their drinks are very high class with unique ingredients and are very flavorful. However, if you re planning on having more than one drink, this might not be the spot as they are very pricey, but worth the price for at least one. Will be coming back for sure.

We were roaming around and exploring Houston Downtown when we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a bar. It is a very unique bar. The entrance, adorned with a mesmerizing spiral of lights, instantly caught our attention. Stepped inside to discover and we were pleasantly surprised by the uniquely designed bar. The ambiance is captivating with a cool vibe.

Super cool bar with secret rooms. It s like a 3-4 bar in room. All the rooms have different DJs so you can find what ambience you like the most. Lighting is pretty lit and it s a great option for bar hopping downtown.

Dont even waste your time by going here. First of all, the decor is lame and could really use a bit of a touch-up. It just feels empty and bland. Second, the drinks are as expensive as super fancy cocktail bar drinks but youre getting dive bar-quality cocktails - its just not worth the price. Finally, the bartenders here are some of the rudest I have ever experienced. Overall a terrible experience and wont be going back - go somewhere else.

Total disappointment. Came to celebrate my wifes birthday and aside from the main bartenders assistance (very helpful), the bar tender in the gold room was rude. We came in and sat for almost 10 minutes and werent greeted or even acknowledged. There was only one other customer in the room. Then another customer came in and the bar tender stopped what he was doing, started a conversation with him and made a comment, lpud enough for us to hear, that he didnt want everybody coming in asking for the mistery drink. We kindly simply got up and left. There was no greeting as we left either. On our way out we mentioned the experience to the bartender in the main area and he apologized but considering we came in from out of town and chose this establishment and were treated like this, its simply unexceptable. Additionally, the step when you first walk into the gold room has to be against code, my wife almost fell. We wont return.

I visited BCD a few weeks ago for a friends Birthday celebration. Super cool venue with a nice audio system and lights. Dress code is pretty laxed, which is nice if you dont want to get all dressed up for a night out. Bartenders were friendly and prompt. Ill definitely go back again.

Awesome bar in the heart of downtown! This place has 3 unique rooms with completely different vibe. Many people just stay in the main room and don t even know there is an additional speakeasy room (gold room) and a club floor (red room). Also - there is even a fourth secret room between the 2 floors. Definitely recommend to stop by and explore! Cocktails are great and music is good too!

This Lounge is amazing. Definitely a must try either with someone or solo, but I recommend with someone. As you walk to the different levels, push on some discreet looking doors along the wall, and Im not referring to bathroom doors, lol. ***Dress Casual for a night on the town*** Parking: You will have to pay for parking just about everywhere in downtown Houston. Paying for parking is way cheaper than a citation.

Went for an afternoon cocktail around 4 PM on a Tuesday and was impressed by the really good happy hour deal. My date and I got the Burn After Reading and Under the Table and both cocktails were top notch and my total tab was under $13 (which included an automatic 20 percent gratuity which I encourage to tip on top). Eric told us it was his first day, but you wouldn t know as he handled the mixology perfectly and was extremely hospitable, BCD was lucky to snag him for their business. Really great music in the main room, lots of cool details and features that didn t feel gimmicky, just felt comfy and cool.

BamBam went out of his way to leave the speakeasy bar and go get the ingredients to make an espresso martini for me. It was an incredibly kind gesture and he even though he was busy with other customers, he made the time to gather the ingredients and make me one of the best espresso martinis I ve ever had! I appreciate a mixologist who takes the time to create an experience for each customer even when they don t have to!

Was excited to visit this bar I saw it on instagram the atmosphere looks really cool n hip, the entrance reminds of a Star Wars ship definitely was a conversation starter , my only issue was I got 2 drinks one was burn after reading and the other was (tbh I don t remember the exact drink it had tequila and it tasted fresh ) drinks were honestly delicious! The issue was I paid 30 for both drinks (again totally cool ) but this week I had 2 charges from this bar one for 30 (for the actual drinks I bought )and a completed unrelated 40 charge! I ve only ever gone once and I only bought 2 drinks! I never signed anything or got a receipt I only got my card back so I don t understand what could ve happened Atmosphere: 9/10
