They have some of the best French toast Ive ever eaten. I ordered food to go and everything was in the bag all condiments were just the way I asked for them. My food was still hot when I got home.

Been here several times. However, this last time was the last time. The server was sweet but brought my drink wrong twice. Two of us ordered the chicken fried steak and it was horrible. The sides tasted like cleaner or something old. I dont know. Anyway, we didnt complain since all of it was gross. We paid and left. Left all our food too.

Always looked forward to Friday to go there and have the fish and chips. Was looking forward to getting those two large pieces of fish cooked in a light beer batter. What happened? I got a fish and chips and the fish looked like two stripes of thin bacon, catfish I guess. Ask why it was so different but they didnt want to talk about it. Dont know how you can go from a wonderful meal to a poor meal like that. Last time I am eating there.

The diner was busy but accommodating. The music was absolutely fitting and I couldnt help singing along while dining. The service was great and the people in the diner were friendly and kind. I got the waffle plater, the waffle was tasty - the perfect balance of sweet and crispy. I love crispy bacon and it was perfect! I even enjoyed the sausage. Now... the coffee was great and I loved that my cup was never empty. I was impressed that they offered me a coffee to go. Cant wait to try other menu items!

When I place an order and go over each item specifically, I expect that order to be complete especially when they re receiving the full cost for the product that they re selling. Food quality isn t as good for some reason. It was mentioned to me they ve changed ownership. Will not return.

The food was good and the prices were fair. Personally, the coffee was light. I asked the waiter for a strong coffee, and she said yes but brought me a poor coffee( in my opinion). She never refilled our drinks until we asked for the ticket, I came back again, another day for lunch, and to my surprise, the waiter ( a different one), never refilled our drinks either. We had to ask when we were about to finish our lunch.

Ordered two Denver omelets through door dash. Only received one. Called Dalrock Diner to resolve the situation and she admitted to it being Dalrock fault, then said they only showed one omelette on the order, hung up on me twice. I offered to show the diner my receipt showing the date, time, and full order and offered no way for me to provide the receipt. I asked her to provide me proof they only showed 1 omelet and she wouldn t. We eat here often, but no longer will they receive our business.

We didnt even sit down. We asked for a 4 top table and the hostess very abruptly responded with youre gonna have to wait. Our 4 top turned into a 2 top so I let the hostess know, she didnt respond. I figured she hasnt heard me so I repeated it. I was quickly hushed by the hostess and she put her index finger up to her face to ensure I stopped talking to her. That was enough for me. I know this is a small business and customers should be welcomed to their establishment. This woman was extremely rude. No thank you, there are plenty of other establishments to spend my money.

Have been here several times and everything has been delicious. Today opted for grilled smothered pork chop. Definitely nothing grilled about the chop it was pasty gray and super tough and hidden underneath gravy with an overload of onions. Friend had fried pork chop. It was just ok. Maybe its just the pork entrees? All the breakfasts have been super good.

Wanted to love it but just didnt... Wasnt bad for say and I might enjoy the lunch/dinner menu better & probably definitely if pie was involved but we went for breakfast. Table had the Country Skillet & the Jalapeño Sausage Skillet. Both came with toast, biscuit with gravy or a pancake, we opted for the biscuit with gravy and added a waffle to share on the side. Tbh the eggs were bland and the sausage in the Jalapeño Sausage Skillet tasted like store bought Eckrich Sausage tossed in with eggs without even a hint of Jalapeño. The food overall was meh, especially with several close competitors with similar menus that we have enjoyed more. Except for the waffle it was a real treat! But it is a cute throw back diner feel and service was good and prompt. Definitely look forward to trying the lunch/dinner but not gonna be our breakfast go to.

Dalrock Diner is such a great spot. I regularly meet people here for buisness networking and everyone always comments on how adorable it is and think it must have been here a long time because of the 1950s charm. The hot chocolate comes with whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup and the omlettes are outstanding. Diner appears new but provides a 50s/60s feel. The diner was busy at 2:00 PM on a Friday. Fresh food prepared on order. Mashed potatoes were creamy buttery and maybe a hint of sour cream. Chicken Fried Steak was an actual breaded and seasoned steak. It was great. Pinto beans needed salt. The meal came with a yeast role and a cornbread muffin. Great experience.

This diner is excellent! We discovered this place when deciding where to eat dinner. Im so glad we did! The menu has many great options, and the atmosphere is a retro 1950s-era diner vibe. The food is delicious, and the owner is friendly and welcoming. I love the Mediterranean Chicken and Rowlett Breakfast, and my husband loves the gyro sandwich. Visited for the 1st time on New Year s Eve for breakfast. Both my wife and I had an excellent breakfast. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and love the old-school diner, decor, as well as the old-school Coca-Cola small items at the tables. Both my wife and I enjoyed a hearty breakfast of two eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, and a delicious Belgian waffle in the shape of Texas Will definitely come back. I called in an order for a grill cheese sandwich and a coke. I requested my sandwich to be crispy with no pickle and light ham. Sandwich came out wet and soggy with a pickle on top of it. I pulled the waitress to the side and advised, look at my sandwich and explained. She takes the sandwich and come back with an attitude we cant give you a refund we can give you a store credit. Worst place to go to if you have a party of 8 they said the wait would be 30 minutes after waiting for 52 minutes I had to go inside and get an update, then they said it would be another 45 minutes due to a chair missing from the table which means they miscounted once I complained they had to give us separate booths to sit in so we were not able to even share a meal with our family that came from out of town then we order and it took them another 47 minutes to serve us I will never come back to this place

I placed an order for pickup. When I arrived, my order was not ready, which was ok. However, the lady at the cash register was very RUDE and unprofessional. She accused me of not actually placing an order. I had to ask her to look at least twice and she did do grudgingly. OMG!! I tried the Dalrock skillet-my husband tried the Boarder skillet Talk about delicious this is our first time trying DD, and we are very pleased with service and food. Our waiter Alexandra was amazing and very attentive. The staff was friendly as well! We will make this our go to breakfast when in the area. This is a must try for oneself, you be the judge. They last two times I have dined here the food has came out wrong.Order a burger with mayo and mustard NO onions burger comes out with mustard and onions ,today i ordered the same thing and told waitress about previous experience and she said she would check order before bringing it out. Order come out loaded with onions. I did not touch food but still was on my bill. Needless to say I dont intened to go back. The cook needs to pay attention to orders.

Not great not bad. Gyro meat was dry, Greek salad was good, eggs and hash browns okay but basic. Jalapeno sausage awful, worse than ekrich. Dry too dense didnt eat much of it. Bout what Id expect from Dennys TBH. Not worth 13$
