This is 2 years long over due. But I absolutely love this place. Brew has been in my life for so long it s my home away from home. I started coming here back in November of 2022. I ve loved it every single time. Back when the OGs were still there, Nate, Sam, Amanda and Joe. Now I can say they are like family. Of course can t leave out Mary!! She is mom! Always will be!! But this place has seen me and my memories grow. Flourish. I fell in love in this bar. Next time, check out record #17. That s us. So many memories, laughs, tears and of course beers. Brew is awesome! Even through all the changes. Wouldn t want it any other way. The food is amazing. We still get pizza everytime we are there or the La Bamba or Tex Mex Bowl. From the bottom of my heart, I love you, Brew and all the amazing things that you have shown me and given me unapologetically.

Go for the beer, NOT the food!! Great tap selection with a point-earning brew club. Nice staff. Cool ambiance. Terrible food. My nacho were of the lowest possible quality with floury cheese sauce, ridiculously salty chips, canned toppings of little flavor, and the driest chicken chunks I can recall. I m not a mean reviewer and usually am vague about the bad stuff, but this has not left my mind. Vegetarian options: Build-your-own pizza. Salads, apps.

As a professional restaurant and hotel reviewer, I must highlight this review is based on 3 collective experiences over the course of a year. It is also based upon my own personal discussions with local folks who have visited The Brew Drinkery in Granbury TX. This place is definitely in a class of it s own and is located just a stone s throw from the famous downtown Granbury Square. You cannot compare it to anything else in the area!!! It has an eclectic vibe, with newly painted bright colors, fun decor and even a front yard patio complete with covered picnic tables where you can share a fresh baked pizza and a pint of your favorite craft beer with friends. This is not a restaurant where you are seated and served, but rather an authentic and fun drinkery where you can meander outside, sit at the bar and watch the game or simply hang out in a cozy place and sip on your favorite coffee drink. They have a succinct menu that pairs well will their craft beers as well as their non-alcoholic root beer (my favorite). The food was excellent all 3 times. I ve had their cauliflower crust pizza as well as their hand tossed pizza, elotes and southwestern style bowl. I ve had no complaints. The only potential issue I ve experienced was food availability during an unexpected crowd one evening. I cannot fault the venue for having an unexpected crowd. That was on one of the 3 visits. We hosted a birthday party here 6 months ago and the owners and staff were super attentive to our needs, requests and any potential issues we ran into. In light of staff issues, everyone we have encountered has been kind, helpful and professional. In over a decade of reviewing, I have to say ALL businesses have a lapse on occasion but we have yet to experience anything but quality customer service during our visits. This is neither a 5-star bougie dining establishment nor is it a bar environment. It has a craft brewhouse feel with a comfy pub community and outdoor beer garden area to boot. They offer live music indoors, fun events and specials on food and drink, so check their social media page for upcoming events. If good friends gathering to connect and sample some incredible craft beers and share a pizza (or not!) is your thing, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Brew Drinkery. Also come see the changes they have made and say hello to Ginger! I recommend the St Arnold s Rootbeer and the Prosciutto/Arugula pizza on cauliflower crust! Then again, I m always looking for the extra thing. They did not disappoint! Simple. Succinct. Eclectic.

My daughter and her husband were visiting from another country. They stopped in for brew and a bite and enjoyed it very much. They had an amazing attentive waiter who was very friendly. They enjoyed it so much we all decided to drop in for lunch. There were two waitresses there that day. No one acknowledged us when we came in and sat down. After about 10-15 minutes, (they were both standing behind the bar chatting.) Finally, my son-in-law went and stood at the bar. Still, no one acknowledged him. He eventually got her attention and told her we were ready to order. He asked her for a beer recommendation and she told him she didn t know as she had been on vacation for a week. ??? He had asked about an amber beer and she told him she liked the stout. Shouldn t she know at least what is a big seller? Long story shorter, he made his choice and when she delivered it, the beer was in a small glass. When he questioned that and told her when he ordered it the 1st time he was there it came in a tall glass. Her response was, No it doesn t . I was driving so I ordered a cappuccino. She had to go get fresh milk because it had spoiled. Our food was really good though! At the end of our meal when we were ready to pay, she told us to just go to the till and she would ring it up. My SIL told her he would prefer a ticket at the table. She said they don t do that. He said they did the first time they came in. As a result, she got no tip. The waiter who had waited on them the first time came in shortly before we left. He was friendly and even remembered them! He is a keeper! She is not! BTW, my SIL currently owns a restaurant and has owned several bars and restaurants.

Love Trivia Night, great and friendly crowd! Lots of regulars and they were very helpful. This was our second time to go to Trivia night. The first time we keep getting thrown off during the games but decided that we were not doing something correctly. Tonight, we thought we had the procedure down correctly but when we were into the 2nd game and had dropped from 7th place to 11th, we were thrown off again and unable to continue. As we were leaving, we were told not to use their internet as it could not handle all the people using it. Made sense but we were not aware that we were using their internet, thought it was the internet with our phone but perhaps when we scanned the code, it put us on theirs, not sure. However, no one else appeared to be thrown off, just us. ( not once but twice) We love Trivia and I have played for years here and overseas. This is the only time I have ever had issues with a Trivia game. Again, important to re-state, this is a great place, friendly service and great customers but a bit of help regarding why we had these difficulties would have been greatly appreciated. We probably wont return because we have had same issue with different phones. But please go.....other than these issues, I highly recommend. The pizza looked amazing!!!

The photos of the pizza are very misleading. It is frozen supermarket pizza that you will regret eating. Somehow staff doesn t think to bring napkins with the food, however the standard options for tipping are 20%, 25% or 30%. 1 star because I can t rate it any lower.

Brew Drinkery is a haven for the beer drinker in Granbury. The reason for the four star on atmosphere is that it needs more indoor seating especially during this time of the year when the Gates of Hell are open. Four stars for food is more items are needed on the menu. I really enjoy the great selection of craft beers. If you like to try new craft beers, this is the place. The servers are always competent and helpful making for a good vibe. Long live Brew Drinkery!

We attended comedy night at Brew Drinkery last night. It was a packed house. We had a great time and laughed until our sides were hurting. It was a great entertainment bargain at $20 for a table for four. (But a great deal of the entertainment at The Brew is free!) I had barista made coffee drinks while my husband enjoyed the large selection of beer. We ordered the chicken nachos to eat. They were delicious, a generous portion, and filling! Sam, Amanda, and the entire Brew staff are the best. The Brew is our favorite hangout in Granbury.

If you like beer, the selections here are great and change regularly. The staff is very informed about the beers. If you have a favorite, get a pint, if you are unsure or would like a variety, the flights are always a good choice. My wife is not a beer drinker and always gets a wine, the selection is good and they can also make recommendations based on your tastes. The menu is wide ranging and we always love getting one of the pizzas, The Janga is our go to and the Margarita is very good. Service is quick and the people watching is always fun. Entertainment schedule always something to check out. Inside and outside seating, also pet friendly and always enjoy watching the pups.

Great selection of high quality beers and lots of indoor and outdoor space to sit. Service was very good. Our favorites were Chimay Grande Réserve and 817 Blonde Revolver Brewing. Also, ordered Pretzel bites with Guinness beer cheese and it was yummmmmyyy. One of our friends is a teetotaler, and she wanted to have a diet-coke-float (vanilla ice cream in the diet coke) and luckily they had it; she was quite happy to have it on a sunny beach day. This was a great place to try while visiting Granbury TX on the Memorial day -- long weekend. Its located in the heart of Granbury downtown, near to the Historic Granbury square.

Brew Drinkery & Bistro is a great little place in the heart of Granbury. They have an amazing selection of beers to choose from. Their food is delicious! They have a large dog-friendly patio that had a fun polka band playing when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. The only downside is they were very understaffed when we were there. I believe it may have only been two workers as the lady taking the orders mentioned to another patron that there was only one kitchen guy there that day. Food took a little longer as a result, and the outdoor tables were not able to be cleared as folks were leaving. Perhaps they were unexpectedly busy when we were there? We still enjoyed our food and drinks, but one could easily see that they needed more hands on deck.

Good option with live music in Granbury. We enjoyed seating outside and listening to the Jazz band. Creative decor and menu. I like the food, I like the beer, but I absolutely LOVE the staff! Lets face it, this is Texas, you can get a beer (to be fair, perhaps not quite as much variety) and a pizza (try the French one) pretty much anywhere. What you cant get just anywhere is the absolutely wonderful staff that they have hired. Being VERY new to the area, I found it wonderful and comforting that, after a visit or two, the staff cared enough to call me by name. Hey Dorian, how have you been? means a lot when you are in a new town and know very few people. I have been back and forth to Tennessee during a move and when I walk in to Brew Drinkery its Hey Dorian, weve got a new IPA since you were last here. Brew is a wonderful, really neat place that is obviously designed to make both regulars, as well as visitors feel right at home. WHOEVER is in charge of hiring should just write a book, Everyone I have met has been so warm and friendly, exactly what you want in a pub.

The food started out fair months ago but as time went on its has gotten terrible and WAY overpriced for what it is. The staff also has no clue how anything works.. They basically were arguing with me about what was supposed to be on a bowl, but it was right on the gd menu!!? The last and final time I ate there was 11/28 and it was horrifying. The bowl was only 1/2 deep with rotten lettuce, noodles and store bought sauce for 13/14$!!! (Im not joking bc thats all that was on the bowl and Im now sick from something 11/28 right after eating it) Total robbery imo. Me and my wife are big foodies and bar people that have traveled the USA and this is by far the worst experience Ive had in a good while.... Maybe Im going on bad days or something but my God get it together!!

Brew s new International Fusion Bistro is one word - phenomenal! The food is fresh and tasty and the staff warm and welcoming. The chicken was smoked to perfection on my Cubano bowl. We will be back!

We had a total blast, and this place is awesome.. we came on BINGO night and had soooooo much fun. The food is really good and the cold beer is wonderful . They have soo many choices thats its hard to decide. I highly recommend that you stop by and give them a try. They are soo kind and gracious and the service is wonderful . I am always amazed at the places I get to go with my travels that are as wonderful as these folks.safe travels to all and be safe!! Thanks again Brew Drinkery!!

Didnt take any photos, but parking on a Friday afternoon was super easy. The place is easy to find and has a large outdoor area for people who want to bring dogs. Lots of local selection for beers. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I wasnt standing at the bar for more than a minute before I was greeted and served. Plenty of seating and there was live music! We had their Pizza, which was delicious and priced fairly. 5/5 would recommend for any local or somebody passing through. Thanks guys!

Beer Selection is diverse and had many Texas breweries featured! Pricing is MORE than fair! REALLY ENJOYED MY VISIT! My wife and I spent a quick 2 day/1 night trip to Granbury and tried to hit many places. We noticed Brew Drinkery right off the square while we walking around on our first day and thought we would add it to the list of things to do ( if we had time) while in town. We had just played Disc Golf and were looking to grab a bite and beer before we headed out on our 2nd day. Brew Drinkery ended up coming to the rescue! The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The design is an open/modern floor plan. There was more than enough seating on our visit. Most tables were still ready to serve and the entire patio out front was open during our visit. We chose the Shrimp Spring Rolls and Margherita Pizza to eat. Both were great but Im imagining will get even better once the full kitchen is open. Spoke with the owner and I believe it will be ready in early fall 2021. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Everything is good except the food. The food is wrapped and frozen or out of a can and you can taste it. The nachos are genuinely the worst in town, the pretzel flight is pretzel bites with the same cheese dip as the nachos. Their kitchen is right in the front of the building and consists of a couple of toaster ovens.

Staff is great and helpful. Great selection of beer. So many to choose from and you can sample to find the perfect beer. If you have commitment issues you can get the flight and try a few different ones. The nachos were just ok, but we were here for other reasons.

If you plan on having more than 2 beers, expect to be questioned if your driving home when you order your 3rd beer. After an awkward conversation with the bartender, we tabbed out because i had a feeling he was going to call the cops if i ordered my 3rd beer....very cliquish and awkward. Also pretty sure the pizza was Red Barron

Really enjoyed this place. Nice selection. Bartender was super friendly and offered us ample samples until we found something we loved. We only had time for one beer but will definitely be back. What a great addition to Granbury. Right next to the town square so it is super convenient. We went in for some great coffee in the morning and then came back for some tasty food and beers in the evening. The people were very friendly and had great beer knowledge to back up the awesome selection of forty taps and a bunch of canned and bottled beers. The pizza and sandwiches were on point. We will absolutely be coming back again on our next visit to Granbury.

The sangria was delicious. The live jazz was much needed in my life. The staff is super friendly and they will fill your own growler for cheap. Definitely a must go. I didnt try the food so I left a star off for that. Cant rate what you dont try.

We had an awesome time at this place. We met friends there and listened to jazz which was refreshing and had a few selections from the vast craft beer selection. We were so glad the owners adhere to the mask policy too because we felt so much better knowing germs weren t being spread everywhere. We can t wait to go back. Next time we ll try the coffee and some food . Go check it out-really a friendly place.

If you are looking for a relaxing place to listen to live music and have some food and drink THIS IS IT ! Band was outside and was great! Jazz group played lots of standards and all had a chance to solo. Wine was name brand and high quality. They have lots of different beers too. Im definitely coming back.
