The food is okay. Ordering drinks is always weird. Like if youre not a regular, they always seem bothered. But they try to make it an enjoyable atmosphere with loteria nights, dj, and hosting sports.

They don t have NFL Sunday ticket, it is community seating - no booths, the server didn t come to take our order, I had to walk up to the bar to order food. I m sure it s a better atmosphere at night especially for any Houston teams.. the food options are limited but it s regular bar food so that s not necessarily a bad thing. The food was pretty good. My husband was impressed with the fries. My nachos were good but I would likely order a deep fried plate next time instead. Overall average quality but nice little hole in the wall spot!

Had to wait to be served and the regulars came in after us and were served in a timely manner. No frozen drinks . Salad was missing onions and the eggs were undercooked. I would nØt recommend this place because of the lack of professionalism/ waiters and the ranch was watered down

This is like a hidden gem type bar. It wasnt busy yet they had a great bartenders and drinks were good. I didnt order any food here just 2 drinks. Theyre pool tables inside with TVs and great music. The best thing about this place is it was the cheapest drinks I had the entire time in Houston! Great prices and service again wasnt busy during the day when I went cant speak for night time but its a cool bar with plenty of seating, TVs, and pool tables.

Want to re-word my review, lastnight me and a group of friends came to play pool and listen to music, was having a great time, service was decent, until about 1:15am when songs on the Jukebox that we were paying for were cut off early, was not even close to 2:00 yet, and other music from a phone connected to a speaker I m guessing was turned on instead, really feel like that was just unprofessional,I wouldn t have wasted my credits knowing it would be cut off early. Also heard a gentleman from the bar say last one a couple times so not sure if that was to us or not buy yea, normally love this place been going here for years but lastnight the music thing just really was not ok being cut off to play something different

Male bar staff was rude. A group of us were playing music from the Touch Tunes app, when the male bartender turned off the Touch Tunes Machine, turning off our music. Male bartender then proceeded to say, That s the last one. . Mind you this all occurred an hour prior to closing time. Usually a great atmosphere, but not at all on our visit on 2/5/24.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. They are racist, they lie, and they will steal from you. The manager is a snake. My ex boyfriend (Mexican) showed me this place. Didn t have an issue until I came in on my own (I m white) and played the slots a couple nights in a row. I won $350 (no idea how much I put into the machines but it was definitely more than $100. I talk to the bartender and she says come back when the manager is here. I come back and talk to him. He gives me some excuse and tells me to come back. I come back. He says he needs to check the cameras for whatever reason. I come back to the third time he gave some other ridiculous excuse. Finally, I come back the fourth time only for him to tell me that he s not going to pay me out or give me my money back that I put it in the machine. Fast-forward a couple days and my ex-boyfriend comes in and gets his money no problem. This man took my money, wasted my time, and played games. I can only assume it s a race thing. I wouldn t play the machines here and I wouldn t go here in general. There s nothing special about this place and food is basic but who knows what kind of corners they cut, since they obviously have no integrity. Edit: nice reply, but too little too late because after you refused me the $350, I had a hispanic friend go in and he got video footage of you paying out. I will be turning it in to the police. You can review it with them.

Its the best bar I ever been to in the northwest.. Great deals on food n drinks .like badaas deals. Different deals everyday my favorite is 2 for one wings on Monday. . Good music good place. they took our money, we were waiting for our drinks and did not receive them after 1hour. we ask to speak to the manager Paul . The bartender were upset the manager didnt want to talk with us , the door lady Got really aggressive with us because the bartender was related to her. So they kick us out and police said they do this all the time he was sorry but nothing he could do, again that would have been our 1st drinks. Just wanted to see the the band play. I have more to say but the other customer has nothing to do with this. Guns were displayed not the safest place to be. if you dont believe me just go. and we still didnt not get our money back they said our drinks were at the table but we wouldnt be able to drink them. plus our door fee we paid to get in. We were with a group of people when they were kick out so we all had to leave when we requested our money back.

My wife and I came to Houston from Detroit to visit our daughter and cousin. We went to The Zone just to have drinks after we had dinner. They welcomed us with open arms. The owner came by our table and talked with us on several occasions, the wait staff to extremely good care of us(I feel that it was not about the money but more of Southwest hospitality!)!!! The DJ played requested songs that we danced to and even others joined us to dance. The patrons in the bar came to our table and was talking with us, dancing with us, we had a BLAST!!! Hats off not only to the owner and staff but, to ALL who made us feel right at home!!! We will definitely come back and have food!!!

Had lots of 10 yr and younger children running around and on they were playing on the stage... You go to the Customer Service station and wait in a long time to order your drinks and food... you then bring your order to your table. Tables are the high ones. The low tables are inconvenient at near the pool table (so the players azzes are in your face, and their cue stick is too).. the children are playing inches from your table.. and they are a foot from the door... very inconveniently placed. You are not offered a menu. 10 (?) Very Loud TVs and music playing... We did have to shout to hear and huddle close to each other..... I left after my first and only drink... I wouldnt return.

For Saturday night would have been dead, except for a birthday party, one female bartender, never smiled and looked up. The male bartender was doing the best he can, but was also bar backing at the same time. Hard to tell where to order a drink, and never was under 10 minutes to just get a simple beer Bartenders do not have any experience measure everything even on a simple Jack and Coke. The place overall is nice and the food is good. I probably would not go back unless they got experienced bartenders and a lot quicker service.

I went in last night around 9pm. It was completely dead (good for me) but the bartender was amazing! She talked with me while I waited for my laundry to be done. Treated me like a friend and not just some customer. I was dreading getting out but her kindness made my night so much better. Thank you for making my not so happy night into a happy night! They advertise artists such as David Olivares and/or DJ Kane to attract people/make money off the public only to not have the artist show up at the last minute and they lie about the artists absence. This is not the first time they ve advertised big names to attract people only for them to not show up while they already pocketed the public s money. Horrible experience! Went there for a date night, got there at 8:01 literally.. We walked in and the place was empty, no big deal it s a Wednesday so I expected the service to be great as we were the only ones there besides a few people sitting at the bar that have been served already. We ordered some drinks, a basket of fries and got some change to play pool. 20 minutes passed and my husband asked about the fries, the bartenders exact words were.. I don t even know if she s started .. 20 minutes for fries? Seriously? We told her never mind, paid our tab and left. Will not be returning.

This bar is phenomenal. The service is exceptional the food is good and the drinks are cold . Make sure when you all visit you ask for Celeste !!! She s my favorite bartender, full of life and so refreshing to be around . So go have a good time at the Zone and don t forget ask for CELESTE !!!

Dropped in for a salad @5 on Sunday. Oh my it was fabulous!!! Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is it seemed a little slow getting the food seeing as we were the only people there. Also, there was no ambiance music so it was just the two of us talking. We will definately be back for the food!!!

Food was awful. Took 30 minutes to serve burnt burgers with stale buns, and two out of the 3 orders were wrong we were the only ones there, and it took that long. Terrible.

Had a few drinks, listened to some good music. Looks like its a local hang out. Bartenders did suggest a few house drinks and also what was good on the menu. Come by, bring some friends and have a few drinks.
