The most retro of dive bars. It has ALL the 80s airport bar vibes lol. Its a little dirty but the drinks are cold and the bartender kept them coming.

The time is around 5:20pm ish. I walked in not a soul inside besides the bartender. The atmosphere is more rock n roll vibe so if thats your vibe that will help win you over. I try to order food but was told that they are not serving food at all which is a big bummer. There is a 10 doller minimum if using credit or debit (so be warned). I started with a water which was about $2.50 and ordered a tequila sunrise which was about 9. My total bill with tab closed was $11.50. The drink was not flavorful. Tasted like ingredients where cut back. Overall I rate the experience a 2 out of 5

Weve lived in the neighborhood for many yrs and never visited this bar. Its nice, low key and never full, which we like. Very mellow in my opinion, the only thing I dont like is that as soon as its 2 am, your rushed out the door. I understand that its closing time but other bars will let you finish your drink at your own pace without having to chug it. Thats really my only complaint.

Had a rough day with flight cancelations and delays and when we got into Houston we decided to stop Im since it was the only place open late we could get food. Whenever I have to pick someone up from hobby, I stop off here before they arrive so I can chill and have a beer. Ted is awesome and the patrons are just as fun and friendly. Last night I came in and I was greeted with the pleasant sound of The Cramps, Bad Brains and the New York Dolls. It was punk / rockabilly all night and I couldnt get enough. They also have food now and I was completely blown away by my burger... It didnt need any condiments, it was so juicy and flavorful! Youre not going to find another bar with food this good.

Friendly place. The owners are putting an honest effort into keeping it friendly and offer great nightly deals on drinks -- even though the regular prices are quite good. This is OUR neighborhood bar! I may not come here very often but Charlie always makes me feel welcome. It is the kind of place where you can go with your friends or maybe just go and make a friend.
