If you want have a good racing experience at a karting place, head to SpeedSportz at 23050 speed st. If you took your bike to Houston GP you d set a faster lap than if you drove a kart here. If you re looking for a place for your toddler to be able to floor the pedal, Houston GP is the place for you. Or it would be, if children under a certain age could drive here. The age limit to drive a 50mph kart at SpeedSportz is lower than the one to drive a 15 mph kart at Houston GP. If you re looking for a place to play arcade games, Houston GP is the place for you! Do not waste your money here, check out a karting place instead of a lawnmower place.

Had a party here for my boys 16th. It was fine but wouldn t go back. Many go carts are slow, some of the workers are busy on their phones so lines take longer. Inside it was warm/ I think they were having AC issues. Staff was easy to work with. It was fine- just not that memorable or exciting.

Slowest go karts Ive ever been on in a public go-kart track in my life. Reading reviews about how they say the karts are slow because theyre older but they were governed to basically nothing. Do not waste your money here! The description online says that its a competitive karting experience thats absolutely not possible in this scenario theres zero competition some of the carts are so slow I could get out and walk the track faster. This go kart track is an absolute rip off.

The price and ride time was very fair for what they charged. The go-karts themselves seemed to be governed way down compared to other places and to individually owned carts. The speed seemed excessively slow. When I asked staff, the response was that the carts are older and the engines are worn, and thats just as fast as they can go.

I m extremely disappointed with my visit tonight. My family and I visited & noticed that the go carts were extremely slow. We saw that they had 2 go cart tracks. So we went in and asked if there was a reason why one track was slow and the other was faster. He asked us if we wanted a faster one just to ride the other track. It was never once mentioned that the other track that we were told was closed at a certain time (this should be mentioned before purchasing along with the no Refund Policy So we paid for an hour wristband and went to the other track, and they were closed. I was upset at the fact that it wasn t mentioned to me, so I went inside and asked for a refund, because that was the only reason why we paid me and my group, otherwise we would have left. As I was talking to the manager and expressing my concern, I got laughed at and told that I was crying over $$. I asked her how about shes gives me $$ nobody is crying, but anybody would be upset about any hard working money they ve earned. She told me I m an old a** b**** and I have kids her age. Which is (4 & 10) I guess that s how old she was? Which btw but I m in my 20s, since we want to call people old! But to be yelled at and cursed at in front of other guests is so uncalled-for. What does my age and kids have anything to do with me wanting my money back or money worth? Please explain I wasn t even talking to her. I was kindly / respectfully speaking with the manager about the situation. This girl jumped into attacking me & was talking to me like she knew me or had some sort of anger built up in her. What kind of employees do you hire that cuss at paying customers? My 2 little girls heard the employees speaking to me that way. I was so shocked that the manger just stood there allowing employees to yell at paying customers and sit there and laugh thinking it was funny the customers weren t happy with their experience. Let s see what the owner has to say about this. Look at the cameras all you want. I hope they have audio too which I was told they don t let s see if they lie and say they do. The employee already had an attitude when we first walked in. While we were trying to enjoy the money I had spent, despite how I was being treated, me and my group were being stared at out the window, ugly faces being made at us made us feel extremely uncomfortable!! Never will I come back again!!! Also, if you want to stand in line for 30 minutes to ride the wristband it is a waste of money as well. All they did for us was offer to trade in all our wristbands (3 of them) for 7 tickets just to go 2 rounds each for $30. What a joke since they have a No Refund Policy , so be prepared to be cussed out and be disrespected infront of your children and other guest!!! Don t say I didn t warn you that the reviews were true!!! Don t bother with this place. Please take your business elsewhere !!!!!! I ll be leaving my 10k + social media followers aware of the customer service and experience. Please don t reply with lies or excuses. My experience was witnessed by a crowd of people listening. Thank you for a horrible experience! At this point, a refund should have been issued that to me after being cursed out in front of everybody that was there. What a horrible business to run with kids attacking the paying customers that bring the business money.Of course they are going to deny the fact I was being treated this way what business will admit at fault in treating a customer this way ? I wasn t going to make this review but after seeing the managements reply I decided to go ahead, I visited this establishment with my family, we purchased 3 wrist bands under the impression we would be able to go on the other track (we were told by YOUR employees the other track is faster because the other carts are used more so they become slow) right after we purchased our 1hr wrist bands we walked over to the track which was now closed, I understand you close different tracks at different times but that should have been communicated. the only thing we were told about the faster track was that it was open on weekends which we were there on a Saturday around 10-11, nonetheless we immediately tried to get refunds ofc there is a no refund policy, which i understand, so we just asked for our moneys worth, we spent $90 you gave us $60 dollars worth of tickets so yes we were upset, but to have your employees call my family member an old a** b**** and to say that we re really complaining over $90 and also have two of your female employees giving us stank faces and making snarky remarks the entire time is absurd. After reading the managements reply you are trying to make it seem as if we are liars, if you really checked the footage and heard the audio you would have seen YOUR employees being EXTREMELY disrespectful I have never in my entire life experienced such bad customer service, I too have a job that requires me to deal with customers and i understand sometimes customers can become overwhelming or frustrating but never in my life would I act the way those two girls acted that night. And for the manager to just stand there and watch all this happen is actually crazy to me. (This is to the management yet again. You replied to my review and you were open and honest about your facilities mistake, and yes you did give us proper credit AFTER your employees were disrespectful to my family, and wasted our time to actually ride the carts. we were left only able to ride the carts 2x. Yes us wasting our hard earned money was unfortunate. It is also unfortunate that you are claiming I am a false customer. I would love to see this escalate into a bigger situation if you feel need be. Because in that case you will see just how stupid you and your facility really is. Being truthful and honest about an experience had at your facility is not considered bashing and if you think that an honest opinion is bashing maybe you should check your staff and your equipment . I inserted a photo I took that night just to prove I was indeed there. And if you need more proof go ahead and check the cameras I have long dark hair and a pale complexion and I was with the rest of my family. To think just because there are multiple reviews about this situation makes it false just doesn t make sense if anything it s the opposite. 1 star because I had to for my review, but it should be zero!! I was very hesitant about leaving a review but after reading what the owner responded to that lady I felt I should since I was there so I m leaving this review based on what I witnessed. First to the owner of this establishment, now you are making the customer sound like a liar. The employees were loud and ghetto. You failed that customer and now you re backing up your employees by saying you heard nothing on audio/camera that leads me to believe you support your employees behavior last night. Take her review and this one to see how your business is being managed your employees need some serious customer service training. That lady deserves for you to make it right, not you calling her basically a liar. I was seriously left speechless on how your management and employees treated a customer. They honestly did not care who heard and who was there. I heard the entirety of the customers complaint to the manager in which she was calmly explaining. The customer had valid reasons to request a full refund. TRUST ME I would ve too, if that was me. In my honest opinion they robbed that lady! The manager was rude and disrespectful. A female employee stepped in the conversation while the customer and manager were talking and started just cursing the lady out, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, she was insulting, laughing and making faces at her and her family! The manager did absolutely nothing, he allowed the employee to be disrespectful to the customer and in front of her children. That s insane!! No way, I could support a business like that, we left. Had a blast racing here. Stopped in on a whim, track was empty. Very affordable, $7 for standard cart and $9 for faster kart. Can race the standard and faster cart simultaneously. Had na unlimited hour option as well. Highly recommended. And open late.

Overpriced in my opinion. The game cards are not unlimited hourly such as the ones at other places like Chuck E Cheese, etc. Its really pointless because if you get a $10 card you just play very few games like 3 and your cards empty in less than 20 minutes. The kids had fun on go carts but again, too high priced for three laps and get off.

This park has a ton of potential. It s clear that the raceway had its heyday in the 80s. The park is reasonably priced and the cars are maintained though the performance of the cars individually is hit or miss. Tough position for the owners, invest to modernize or continue maximizing returns. No refund policy, observe car performance prior to paying.

Got a $25 unlimited ride pass but it is only for 1 hour. So the first 30 minutes was spent waiting in line for first ride. Then after that found out there was another track to ride on with no wait but half his time gone so he only got to ride a total of 4 times. Not much of a deal when the individiual ticket are $7. Guy said he suggest when they busy to just get single ride passes so whats the point of having unlimited rides then if thats the case. It was my kids birthday and he did have fun. So will give it 4 stars for entertainment.

On one hand, the place is highly affordable. However, you get what you pay for. This is a great place to bring young kids, but beyond that it s not up to par with other places. The super karts would be lucky to clock in at 15!mph and even that s a stretch. Additionally, the karts were pretty beat up at least on the longer track. My kart had a high pitch squealing sound and the seat/safety belt was beat up due to old age. My buddies was in the same condition with similar complications. For a 12yo and below s birthday or a cheap family outing then this place would suffice. From a teen to an adult standpoint, spend the extra cash and go elsewhere.

We stop for the first time with my out of town nieces. (3) people $50 for (2) rides each which is 8 mins ..and the fast kart was slow. The regular was super slow! Pass and go there, Way better value for the money., One shorter than 54 inches. So I gotta pass for 2 people and a single rider pass we took turns. Waste of time and money for me and my family. We were told there were not enough go karts after we paid for single rides. Some groups were allowed to ride longer than others, and I felt my family was being racially profiled the whole time. The facility is primarily Hispanic and we did not feel welcomed as African Americans. Also, we saw a $100 package online for 16 go kart rides. But we were never given that option. I don t think we will be returning.

Well 1st off the place is completely dated, Parking is super tight Go Karts definitely in bad condition I mean tore up seriously I couldnt stand it. No bumping rule definitely not inforced the other guest were super annoying. Not worth returning but the prices werent bad at all and the guy that checked us out was super nice he may be the owner thats where the 2 stars come in

Very slow karts, and no bumping policy. Bumping is all you can do to make it fun. We were asked to leave before time was up. Probably a good call because I almost died from boredom. I paid extra for the fast car which you had to be 15 years old to drive and it MAYBE went 1/2 MPH faster than one my son was in. Total rip off. ... We left and went to New Caney and had a BLAST in 45mph cars ...that you ONLY HAD TO BE 14 to drive. The kids were describing them as SpEd...which I dont think is a compliment.

Quite affordable karting place. $30 for all you can ride in 1 hour is pretty cheap. Plus and arcade inside. Plenty of parking. Will say the restroom definitely need remodeling. The walls are carpet and some stains. Toilet was quite dirty as well. For the price its worth it though

Went here today for birthday because its her fav place to be! incredibly fun. Affordable. The employees are nice. Safety is #1. Go carts are in great condition. They have 1 and 2-seater go-carts. Bring your need for speed and your family!

Staff is rude & tried telling me the age of my daughter when I clearly said she was 15 and my other child was under age! (12) We came here a few times and they really sat here and argued with me and wouldn t let my oldest (15) ride with my 3rd youngest who s (3) get ready to be questioned how old your kids are and if they believe you or not on how old your child is this place is a joke! Take your business somewhere else! Never had this issue until tonight.
