It was my first time at the color factory today, and let me just say, I had an AWESOME time! The staff were super duper friendly, and I think the experience was definitely unique. I came with my boyfriend this afternoon, and we both absolutely adored the girl working there? I think her name was Amber? She was super polite and personable, and she recommended a few places in town for me and my boyfriend to try after we finished up! Definitely had a great time, will definitely be coming again.

Great experience! We went while on vacation with 4 kids ages 1-11 and all of us had a blast here. Its pricey, but its a lot for your money. Multiple rooms, treats, souvenirs and the best part is the picture stands that take your picture. The whole experience is about an hour maybe a little more. No parking is included for the price though. All employees were nice and helpful. Highly recommend

The color factory needs to do better as far as the parking is concerned! My vehicle was towed 10mins before coming outside front the color factory. Mind you when you come in they stop you at the door to ask where u park. According to the tow company workers are usually outside to direct people where to park. Well not today and my car was towed! I am SUPER upset! It s raining and I have my 5yr old. What was a great fun day for us had turned into a $350 nightmare !! Do something about that parking !!!

Me and my fiancé bought tickets on the website the day of and was overall satisfied with the experience! Parking is a bit small and parking around the building was a risk of being towed. Upon walking in, a staff member asked where we parked and warned us that there s a chance that we d get towed in the spot that we parked and that if we wanted to repark the car, then we could as we were already checked in. At first, everyone was in a room going through the rundown of rules and how everything was going to work and then after that, it was practically just at your own pace. There were some sweets and treats (candy, macaroons, and ice cream) that were complimentary. We also received this QR code on a little piece of paper and we were able to take pictures in every room. Overall it was a great experience and I would say worth the money

Pricey, esp for spending just a couple of hours. However, the kids had a great time and looked forward to seeing what the next room held. Celebrating a birthday there was fun for them. They give treats along the way that helped explain the cost, but overall I think it was expensive for the amount of time you spend there.

I went in skeptical because of the price of the ticket but left feeling like it was worth the experience, photos, and memories! We got really lucky with the crowd on a Thursday afternoon and could take our time in each room and with taking pics as we were usually the only ones there. I enjoyed the sweet treats along the way, but was most impressed with the photo booths provided at each display. You receive a personal QR code at the entrance and scan it at each booth. You receive your digital photos for free download at the end! I would still take pictures with your own phone/camera just in case, but the photo booths make taking pics easy and fun, and they have the angles and lighting down in flattering ways too so thats one thing less to worry about. In regards to hygiene, the reusable interactive things (headphones, rose-tinted glasses) are collected and sanitized. Also, loads of hand sanitizer stations around! Parking: we originally parked at the mall close by but upon entry, the staff recommended parking in front of the building for free to avoid getting towed. I would recommend wearing colorful outfits, going with friends or family for fun photo ops, and aiming for non-peak hours. I only had such a great time because we got lucky with the crowd!

Really interesting place with integration of colors and art with interactive exhibits that adults and kids can enjoy. You are provided with a QR code that you scan before a selfie opp area. At the end of your visit, you receive an email with your photos attached. Tickets are a bit pricey, and there is limited parking so I would suggest going on a weekday in the middle of the day to ensure a reasonably secure parking spot and limit the crowd. The light bright, disco, and balloon areas were our favorites and the free macaroon at the start was a nice addition too! You also receive some brown/black ice cream at the end (pic below).

I came to color factory for my first time ever yesterday. They didn t allow you to bring your stroller along your experience. They made us place our stroller with them in their back room with a ticket number for our stroller. I had shopped at Sephora before going to our 2:00 time for color factory. I brought in my Sephora bag to keep my makeup stuff cool inside the stroller. By the end of our experience, we were on our way out to pick up our stroller from the front desk. The girl who went to get our stroller was a little suspicious when returning our stroller, she kept looking at me when she saw me looking to check up on makeup bag if it was there. When I came home to find out one of the items I had went missing. Just a lesson learn to myself & for others to be aware that there are always thefts everywhere you go. Anything valuable to you or something you wouldn t want to be stolen, don t leave it in your stroller with them, ever.

It s always fun coming but there is a HUGE issue with lack of parking. I also feel that they overbook. There were almost 30 people in one group which was extremely difficult- people cutting in front and that kinda made it difficult to enjoy everything. The parking is little to none with lots of parking spaces near by but you aren t able to even park because they re private property. There is only like 20 parking spots so expect to drive around a lot searching for one. I won t come again after today.

The facility was very ADA friendly allowing our service animal full access to the facility, with the limit of staying to the side in only 2 exhibit areas. She was allowed to sit where she could still access my son without barrier if he needed her. I would recommend for everyone including those with disability requiring access to accomodations including a service animal. Great fun experience and a very kind place.

If you re into art, and like a place that is interactive, a good choice of places to visit is the Color Factory. It s cool for kids and adults alike, all of whom will find its different rooms and colorful interactions fun and memorable. The Color Factory is focused on art and upon entering, you will join with other people first, in an open space, before entering through a door and beginning the immersive experience. You need to purchase your tickets in advance and have everything ready to go when you arrive. If you haven t already purchased your tickets, you will have to pull out your cell phone and make the purchase before you can continue. There is no ticket office to walk up to, for purchasing the old- fashioned way. Once you re ready, you will be guided with your group through a series of rooms, each of them colorful and dedicated to art in some sort of fashion. Everyone will have their personal favorites, but there is much to enjoy in each of them. The room that mimics the old lite- bright toys brought back childhood memories for me. The room where you look at the person across from you and draw their image was interesting. Young people often like the confetti room best. And for some, the ball pit at the end is their favorite because they can dive into the pit and have a little fun. They even serve you small treats along the way, all included in the ticket price. There is no rush as you go from room to room, which is good. You don t have to stay with the same group of people you started with. The one thing to remember, however, is that once you exit a room, you cannot go back. You need to keep moving forward. So, if there is an installation that clearly resonates with you and really gets your creative juices flowing, be sure to devote a little more time to that room before you exit. Once you finish going through the rooms, you will exit through the gift shop, a good place to get a souvenir or two, books, etc. It makes for a good day of fun and colors at the Color Factory, a good place for artistic minds, young and old, to experience color in all its glory.

It was fun taking silly photos and doing a scavenger hunt and also getting little treats through some rooms and at the end! Highly recommend for those who have a silly side and admire each room of art.

This was a fun date night excursion. Booked in advance. Parking is the only tricky issue, make sure you budget for the parking garage. Pinstripes is across the steer and is a good place to eat before or gather. Also, they validate Valet parking.

Amazing place to visit in Houston. I had so much fun! There s a lot to see and enjoy. I loved the ball pit, but be careful not to lose your phone there. I really liked that they take pictures in each installation and then they send it to your email for free. The pictures are high quality and the lighting is beautiful. They also give you treats, ice cream and souvenirs. I ordered the tickets online to arrive at 3 pm but I had to reschedule for 6 pm and it was easy to do it. I recommend going there later during the day because it wasn t very crowded and we were able to park in front for free.

An assault on your color senses... in a good way . Color factory, as the name suggests, is an explosion of colors blended with art. We visited as a family on a Friday. The place was not too packed. They admit crowds in groups so its best to book your tickets ahead of time. In short, good to visit this place once. Nothing about it that I would want to keep coming back to visit. Pros: 1. A new concept to see. 2. The staff is friendly. 3. Each room has a different theme so it keeps things interesting. 4. Sweet treats as part of the tour. 5. The exhibits interests kids and adults alike. So everyone has fun in their own way. Cons: 1. Parking - Its best to park in the parking garage right opposite the color factory. Street parking is very limited. And you cant tell if your vehicle will get towed away. 2. Expensive - the price difference between weekday and Friday/weekends is quite a bit, especially if you go as a group. I dont know what extra value you get for the higher price on Fridays and weekends. 3. Ive seen pictures of friends who visited a year ago and the exhibits havent changed. So if youve been there once, youve seen it all.

It was perfect for my busy six-year-old. It was a bit expensive, but it was still fun and good for a quick rainy day activity. The only problem was the parking. The lot is really small, so I would definitely suggest getting a ticket ahead of time for a certain time period. It will help with the overcrowding and make sure you can park.

The snacks were great and how they were incorporated to the rooms and activities was so cool. The staff was phenomenal and friendly. I LOVED the picture areas with the QR codes! Amazing idea and leaves so many fun memories. The LightBrite was 100% nostalgia. I dont want to give away more of the areas so go check it out!! Absolutely want to go back with the kids again !

The man who led our tour never smiled and spoke gruffly to get in a straight line and don t do this don t do that. $150 for my two kids and I to get spoken down to is too much. When I shared the pictures with family and friends they wanted to know what filter app I was using. You mean I can get these pictures for a 99 cent app? The artistry is neat and a lot of creativity went into the displays. Charge less and hire fewer grumpy people and I would be more complimentary. For us way more than an hour was needed and we had to skip through some exhibits to make our next appointment which also annoyed the staff.
