Im a regular at the Thursday buffet. Love the food and the variety. Wait staff is friendly and makes sure I get refills on my tea. Have enjoyed the food on non-buffet days as well. Vegetarian options: The buffet has a salad bar, and theres a vegetable dish with the main course options. Their charro beans are great, although thats not a vegetarian option with pork mixed in.

This place has gone down about 80% of customer service food quality staff since the day open this establishment I do not recommend the buffet for being a seafood place. They only have shrimp and fish and I just had a bad experience today. I got up to get my second serving of food and clean my table like five hours if I was already leaving for the day. I do not recommend this place anymore

This restaurant was good last year, but tonight (2/23/2024) the 6 of us waited over 1.5 hours before the food arrived. There are enough good places to eat in Harlingen that we will not go back. Unfortunately, other folks in the restaurant were having the same experience as we did, while others got their food long before we ever got ours.

Ordered a seafood botana, 3lb fish, 1 lb shrimp, 1 lbs oysters. Female employee said it included 12 pieces of fish, 16 shrimp and 10 oysters, and if I wanted I could switch out the oysters for more shrimp. I decided on getting the extra shrimp. Got home with my order which only had 5 pieces of fish and 20 shrimp. Place is not worth your money....go somewhere else. Place is operated by crooks.

We had such a nice time there! The food was good, a little too salty for me personally but still tasty. The salsa & shrimp & fried fish was good. Pretty cute inside too! The service was amazing. The food was pretty good, however the shrimp had no flavor. I had to add the salsa to the shrimp tacos to give it flavor. They were not busy when we arrived at about 4:45pm. They floor was still dirty from previous dinners. The waitress was a little lost and could not remember our order, she also didnt know what was not available and had to come back to table a few times.

Very bad experience here. Food was very bad and service was bad also. I ordered a very common mexican dish like you literally cant mess it up and nope i was the last one to get a plate after they cleaned up everyone elses plate on my table of 10 ppl and by the time they brought it i had to take it to go because i was literally eating by myself. They told me they ran out of chicken as they already finished my dish so they gave it to me with cheese only and g it tasted like plastic i didnt bother taking it to go and just left the full plate there. These ppl were not helpful at all so my partner had to tell them himself because they expected us to pay for a plate that was horrible. My plate was the only one that this happened to.

The food was delicious. We came with a group of family and friends,so our waiter took a little while to get to us, but when he did,he was very prompt and attentive. The fish was crispy on the outside, but very moist inside. Hush puppies were good as well. This was the first time I visited with my husband. But this restaurant has been recommended by many family members. The building does need an upgrade and maybe a more thorough cleaning,as the floors seemed sticky. But otherwise, food did not disappoint.

I would have loved to have given this restaurant a 5-star review because the seafood was delicious!! They almost got a 3, but food saved them. The buffet is worth the $$, the fish, shrimp, ceviche and shrimp with nopales were super tasty only thing we had to wait a long time for a table to be cleaned and it took longer for it to be wiped down and thats because it was in front. I think it was the owner who finally got up and told staff we had been sitting at a dirty table for a long time, and then we were attended to. We did have to wait for buffet items, but at the end, you know its fresh. The food will definitely have me come back, but maybe not at lunchtime. Parking: Parking is limited

I really love this place. Every time we go the food is delicious. The prices are a little pricey but I dont mind spending a little more for good food and service. This was a very disappointing experience. The waitresses were distracted with personal chats and we had to get their attention more than once for service. The oyster plate was sorely lacking in flavor. There was too much crust and salt and we could not taste the oysters at all. The shrimp cocktail was outstanding. We used to visit the Sabores Del Golfo on Zillock Rd over 2 years ago and the food was outstanding. We will not be back.

I don t do this often and the staff was very sweet but it was the worst seafood I ve ever had. I ordered the 1lbs shrimp. They were massive shrimp. But I noticed right away they had no color or smell of seasoning. I took one bite and almost had to spit it out. Tasted horrible. They gave my what was supposed to be cocktail sauce but it tasted like ketchup, I think they did not put any of the horseradish in it or not near enough. I really hate leaving these reviews and maybe it was just the shrimp. I try to be honest in these.

Enjoyed the food. The fried shrimp and fish was perfect not overly salty which happens sometimes due to the batter. Arriving around 7pm on a Tuesday, I expected it to be busier based on the recommendation I was given. It turns out its much busier during lunch hours. We visited this place for their buffet. Price was WAY worth what we were able to enjoy. Although the buffet is small, everything was awesome and fresh. We hadnt been to this place in about 2 years. We were happy to find that the food was tastier than ever. Fried fish nuggets and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and battered. I particularly enjoyed their buffet, it was priced reasonably, everything looked and tasted fresh and it simply did not disappoint. Service was friendly and very prompt. I was pleased that even though we arrived well over the lunch hour, they continued to refill the buffet table with hot fish and shrimp out of the kitchen. Great lunch!

I ordered their seafood platter and it was very very good. The seafood soup is a little bit lacking. Seafood cocktail was superb plentiful seafood there. Great place overall for seafood

Great Service and very clean in side.. The food was fresh and plentiful. We ordered the Shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms for a appetizer, it was almost a meal itself. Then my wife ordered the beer battered fish plate which came with a big piece of sea bass, light and fluffy melt in your mouth good. I ordered the shrimp plate w3hich was a great portion. Overall we would recommend this place for sure. Its added to our list of places to go.
