Tried the buffet, which was good. The service wasnt. Being able to speak Spanish, which to be fair I should, would probably have helped a bit. Id also recommend taking cash. The food was good enough that Ill do that in the future.

This is some good food. Is it the best in the RGV? Nah, but it s definitely worth the time and the money. I would not hesitate to eat there again when in town. Everything had really good flavor. It was all a little too greasy but it wasn t so greasy that I couldn t eat it. The chips and salsa were excellent. My associate says the food truck is better than this sit-down restaurant. IDK but it s still good stuff.

It was my family and Is first time here, we had heard some good things about it from other people but its like the saying goes its not everyones cup of tea. The sweet tea was too sweet, the lonches were not up to my mothers standards, and the monterrey chicken is just broiled with spices, not something I was too happy with. The service was good but it was not a place we would try again. Everyone has different taste buds but if youre just curious about the place, just check it out to satisfy your curiosity.

This place used to be our favorite number one spot for tacos. What happened?? Our papa was hard and just be steak thrown on top no sides no toppings, no cheese. The hard beans were totally not up to par and my french fries were soggy and cold. No salsa for our order to go. No lemons and two napkins out aguas had a little to no ice. Totally dissatisfied. I don t know what happened to management but something needs to be done. My feelings are honestly hurt. I am with prices going up I think I m gonna spend my hard earned money somewhere else for a while.

I really enjoyed the food here. Some of the meat on one dish was a bit chewy and full of grizzle so we didn t eat much of it, flavorful but very difficult to chew. The waitress didn t speak any English, but also didn t try. We were pointing at the menu and trying our hardest to order but she kept speaking fast and faster in Spanish. She did get our orders right, but it was a bit frustrating. Overall, if I lived in Texas I would return but being that I live out of state, I likely wouldn t seek it out again. Parking: You have to park on the street around the side of the building.

They dont have those bench seats like in the photo. I asked for guacamole & they brought me each ingredient separated on a plate....and it was $7.99...all that and I still had to mix it all up....what the heck. I expected a bowl of whipped up guacamole. Never have I had it served with each ingredient separate and with barely half of a small avocado. I had to ask our waiter & a different waiter & it took like 20 mins just to get what i didnt want.. The main dish was great thou, just couldnt finish because the service just put me out of the mood to eat & my food end getting cold, I was upset. I was visiting family in town, last time I come to this restaurant

This is the best place for tacos! My husband and I really enjoy it there. Other Mexican dishes are great as well. The only reason why I gave 4 stars on Service is because every time weve gone, its very short staffed so tables are often needing to get cleared for customers to sit. Youll get what you need to start but refills may take a while. If youre in no rush for lunch then you wont have a problem. Nonetheless the food is awesome!

My toddler ate her tacos, shes a picky eater. Only reason service isnt 5 stars is there is a little wait. Nothing like super long, they do get to you as soon as they can. I think its more staff storage. If you dont mind waiting this place has good tacos. And I saw they serve some panchos to the table next to me, definitely need to try those next time!!
