Love it personal is very friendly and there food is very delicious . One of are favorite to go places Vegetarian options: My niece is a vegetarian, she really likes that they had some things she liked. Parking: We like that theres more parking. Makes it easier for Disabled people to get out. Kid-friendliness: We have taken our niece and nephew over the age of 6 they both enjoy going. They are treated very Nice and really enjoy eating there . Wheelchair accessibility: Im in a wheelchair and have no problem. the out side is flat so you dont have an problem getting in or out. This restaurant is very spacious and the interior decor is very inviting. Clean and excellent atmosphere and service. This restaurant is seriously a great spot to eat for any time of the day. Seafood and Mexican/American Food is available but a bit pricey but its worth it. Excellent place to unwind with friends and family Parking: The parking lot has a lot of space so bringing many guests wont be an issue. This Botana grill doesnt compare to the original at all. Server was nice. Food took awhile to come out , plates brought out one by one. Meat burned , cold tortillas. Owner / Manager just sitting while her staff struggled. This botana grill is dragging the name of the OG in Brownsville through the dirt. Very disappointing. Changing locations wont fix the issues this place has.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Harlingen, this is the place. The ingredients were fresh and served hot. This family run restaurant is tucked in a small strip mall. They only spoke Spanish. I enjoyed a sampler platter of beef short ribs, pork ribs, sausage, guacamole, rice, and home made tortillas. It was all delicious!

Everytime I ask for sugar for my tea the server looks at me like she dont know what Im talking about. Just that straight rude stare. So I just say forget it everytime. Idk y Ive gotten that treatment the various times Ive been here. And its the same girl! U would think she would notice me and greet me in a polite manner after seeing me a few times. But I guess regular customers dont get greeted like normals.

Really disappointed in their food. I order the beef soup vegetable we re over cook and the beef tasted like plastic. The tea unsweet tea was horrible. Disliked more than ever. Weve been here a couple of times and this time sealed the deal. We visited in Tuesday of this week. No more La Botana Grill #2. We ordered a fajita Botana for 4 and queso flameado with chorizo. The meat smelled like it had been defrosted and had a bad flavor. The chorizo on the cheese wasnt fully cooked. Their tortillas were too thick for my liking. The green salsa tasted old, as if the tomato was going bad. Charro beans had the same flavor almost rancid, as if everything was on the brink of going bad. Im thinking either its leftovers from the weekend or their refrigerators are not cooling. Really, not so good food. Im not sure whats going on in the kitchen, but its not up to par. As for the service, its not the best, the waitress was very transactional and not a single smile, very long face. She wasnt rude, but wasnt happy to be there either. She was just there to do her thing, you know. This same waitress, in a previous experience when we I had placed a to-go order, we placed a large order and I asked to have an extra pint of rice instead of charro beans because we had beans at home. When I went to pick up the order, she handed me beans and I reminded her that I requested rice instead and she said, oh yeah and she let the kitchen know but they were having a back and forth conversation about the order and what it comes with. She was telling them through the window from the counter to the kitchen that I ordered rice instead of beans and they took half an hour to get that pint of rice for me. The waitress seemed frustrated and seemed like the kitchen staff and her were not getting along.

I just started living in Harlingen and was looking for a place that sold botana sand I Saw this place on Door Dash and it had good reviews so I decided to order the botana for 3. It looked delicious through the pictures but it was a BIG Disappointment when I received it. For $31 this must be a joke. The ribs were over cooked and super old and dry, the avocado was black and old, the chicken was super dry and had a weird taste, the sausage tasted nothing like a sausage more like a hot dog weenier that s has been boiled in water, the beans had no taste, and lastly the fajita was super cold. The only good thing about all this was the corn tortillas. Everything was so nasty and had to throw it away. I do not recommend ordering from this place. I m sure there are way better restaurants that sell botanas that are way more better.

Our waitress was polite and pretty. The food was good. The rice and beans were the tortillas were big soft and hot. Thats what Im talking about. A restaurant that can serve tortillas like that!. Good all the way. We were satisfied with our dinner plates

Very disappointed with my meal. I sent my wife to pick up a rib plate. It was cold, dry and tough. Very little food on the plate. Not even a styrofoam plate to keep the food warm. Definitely not worth $9.73. At times like this you would think theyd be eager to provide good food and goods service. No plastic ware, sad, sad.

I ordered a botana for 8 from here and it came with ONE platter which had not enough fajita, 2 chicken legs and two chicken thighs, ONE sausage, 5 ribs, 1 small bag of tortilla chips, 2 cups of beans, and just 1 small bag of salsa. The avocado amount was just 1 cups worth served in a fried tortilla. When I called to complain, there was no manager or anyone to speak to about this, the only compensation offered was 4 more pieces of chicken and 3 ribs. I will never order from here again

VERY Unhappy with my decision for this place. I got take out for a parilla for 2 and $20 bought me meat and tortillas. oh, and very little grilled onions and charro beans. I asked the lady if it didnt come with salsa or chips and she said no. It had the little tiny salsa.. for 2! I asked if i could get chios and she said no. I told her I was disappointed because there was so little and she said there was nothing she could do abou it. I even told her I was going to putnegative comments on facebook because thats ridiculous...so here it is. Truth be tokd, this is not a business I will ever go to again.
