The food was so good!! We got a few different dishes. The mollejas were fire! Loved them. The two meat with brisket and sausage was very good. The sides we got were potato salad and macaroni. We got the burrito which was super huge so beware. It did have too much cheese. The saucy kind so of I had known it was that kind of cheese I would have asked not to have it. The dessert was banana pudding and it was the best!! The lemonade was not that great. The staff was ok. Nothing remarkable. The place is small and mostly high top tables. There is a-lot of fans so that bothered me as far as the temperature and drying out my contacts. But Im super picky. It s pretty loud in there if you re ok with that. The food did come out fast which was nice. And lastly the women s restroom was odd. There are no doors for the two stalls. Instead there s curtains to close like dressing rooms. Not very private.

Very good food. The pork ribs as well as the English cut ribs are incredible. Very large portions of food, great service, happy folks, and a cool place. If you are in the area, give it a try. You may need a power nap after your meal if you go with the 3 meat. It is awesome.

I just want to say that last Friday I went to get bar b que, and the manager told me that he running out of food... At 8:00 at night. Wow I cant believe it. And the place was full of customers. And why they run out of food. I was managing that place, I make sure that I dont run out of food. And keep the customers happy with the service we have. I was very upset with the service that Daves gave me I have been going about very Friday but now I dont know if I go back over there. I love the food. I going to try it one more time but if they tell me that they run out of food. Im not going back. Poor service and poor management

I can t believe this place has been here about 7 years and we just heard about it 2 days ago. The food is delicious , fresh and moist and tender brisket . The portions are great for the price, which the price is also great. They have brisket bombers and mollejas too ! The staff was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant, and my husband loved the fact that it was not hot at all , the AC was perfect especially in this heat . Definitely going back again as my to go place for bbq. I recommend this place.

Daves was an ok little Beer b Q. I ordered the 2 choice meat plate with brisket and sausage. I was not too impressed with the brisket due to it having an absurd amount of fat. I dont mind some but this was a lot. I posted some pics of the fat from my brisket. The sides were ok and the portions were not bad. I dont think I will be going back however.

One year update!!!! Weve been coming here often, and how can you not!!! Service is great, the food is delicious...and lets not forget the drinks are always cold! The first time I reviewed this place we didnt really eat, so I feel like my review was not fair enough. However, we have now tried just about everything on the menu, and I must say, this place doesnt get enough praise!!!! The food is amazing!!!! The brisket has such a good smokey flavor, the turkey legs are so good, the ribs are great!! The fajita never disappoints and their burgers are very tasty. Went to get lunch with my wife and a couple of friends. We were told the food was good but wasnt to impressed. They had a burger and wing combo which I decided to try. It was a frozen burger and I was expecting a nice smoked homemade burger patty. Then they bring you chips with your meal. Why not fries? The wing were the only item on my plate I enjoyed. A few hours later I didnt feel good and threw up the food and had to run to the restroom. Overall a bad experience and will not return.

Dont have a grill at home so I thought I would treat my family with some grilled chicken from Daves since I have been hearing good reviews. I called the order in and told them specifically about just wanting the meat. I ordered 4 sets of leg and thigh. No sides just the chicken. Ended up costing me 65.00. I was hesitant at first because of the cost. I figured they were gonna be large and come with onions and jalapenos and BBQ sauce. Got home and they were just bare grilled chicken pieces. This place is the Ultimate Locals Only Joint and had AMAZING food! I had the last Dino rib of the day and it was still perfectly juicy, tender, & delicious.....The Mac & Cheese was perfect, my buddys sweet back ribs looked even better than mine and he devoured those like a Rescue Dog having its first meal at home after being in the pound for 2 months. Prices were fantastic and the quality and atmosphere were wonderfully chill and friendly.. It was a Friday night and the other last customers were a couple in town from San Antonio celebrating their 15 yr anniversary & their best friends. Again, this place is Wonderful and the exact kind of place youre looking for anytime you go into a new city and want that Locals experience of Wheres the Best Food I can get and at the same time, Just Relax & watch the Astros, the Rangers, WWE, & MMA all at the same time, & have a beer or a giant Sprite, & maybe a butter pecan & bacon cupcake? 5 star all they way. Great service is number 1. The brisket sandwich is loaded, tender, moist and good potato salad. Yea. Cold ice tea to beat the Texas heat. Ahh. The carne guisado plate was excellent tender, lots of flavor, charro beans and rice , flour tortillas, salad oh man really delicious. Small comfort setting sports and news on tv make it a must got eat with family and friends. Young lady that was attending us was very nice and great customer service. Great job and this is a family favorite

First time going here and trust me it wont be the last I promise. It was just so delicious the bud burger is what I got. Its got sausage, brisket and there Angus beef pattie and melted cheese , strongly recommend you all to go by and try it. My wife got the half chicken which I to taste and the flavors on the chicken were just out of this world, potato salad and green beans were also so delicious, just a little disappointed with the Mac and cheese just needed that extra kick of cheesy flavor but still cant complain cause the rest of my meal made up for it. Cant wait to go back try something else on there menu. And there staff r so polite and very friendly environment and chilling.
