Mr.Tanaka is a true professional. From the consultation through the hearing you could tell he truly cares about his clients and their unique situations. I never felt pressured to hire him in fact he gave me allot of advise despite not being a client. After consulting with other lawyers in the area I knew he was the right fit. He got working right away and kept me updated and informed every step of the way. The client portal is easy to use and a great way to keep track of all the moving parts. With only a few days to prepare he was ready for our first hearing. His strategy is considerate, straight forward, and honest through and through. Mr. Tanaka has been an amazing man throughout my divorce process. I m military and stationed overseas. I contacted him while I was deployed, had our initial meeting over zoom and it s been smooth sailing from there. The online portal he uses was simple to navigate and made communication easy with him. The whole divorce process is stressful enough and he explained everything and kept the stress at bay even with a difficult spouse. He reassured me that I am doing what I need to do and is working with me with a payment plan. He waived the 150 consulte fee, as a mother of 4 and I pay for all my bills, he understands that not everyone has all the money upfront and is willing to help me out. Thank you. I can not express my gratitude with Mr. Tanaka. Going through a divorce is not an easy thing to deal with, and as it being my first experience, I was lost. I hired the first firm with good reviews, and I was not happy with the lack of empathy they had. You were treated like a number, not a person. Midway through, I was given less than three weeks to come up with a large sum of money or threaten to be released if I wasnt able to come up with the funds. I decided to do some shopping around at that point and found Jonathan. From the first 45 minutes of conversing, he was able to give me a plan on where and what his time was going to be dedicated on. More information than what the other firm gave me in over four months! I felt he listened to me and gave me the assurance that he was there to work with me, and after a long dragged out divorce process, Jonathan was able to get me what I wanted. I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Tanaka. My wife and I have never been sued before so this was definitely a new experience. Over the last year we worked with Mr. Tanaka regarding a Landlord/tenant dispute. He was nothing but a professional the whole time and was always there if we needed him. Jonathan represented the opposing party at my hearing and he was incredible to watch. My attorney assured me Jonathan was too new to do a competent job but my attorney was both wrong and unprofessional. Even though Mr. Tanaka was technically against me, I have to give credit where it is due. Based on what I saw, I would have retained him in an instant and for a higher price than what I paid.
