About the Company

rating: 4.6

Manufacturers of auto toys, many of which you will find on this site, are listed below. Having the museum is the best way to share the toys. When I began collecting toys, I was already in love with Mercedes, and other fine European marques. I decided then that I would aspire to own every Mercedes toy made. I was naive. It didn’t take me long to realize that buying new toys was like pitching an ice cube into the ocean in the hopes of cooling it down. I began to buy strictly antique toys. Over the years, my focus narrowed even more to specific manufacturers like Tippco, and models that were interesting, like race-cars or open cars, or those steeped in history or loaded with provenance. Today the collection is approaching 3,000 pieces.

Its a well camouflaged museum in an auto-industrial area. But since its free, its well worth the price. Its not big, but one can easily spend 35-45 minutes browsing, more if you take the time to look at the books and magazines that are available. Sad part for me, is I actually remember playing with some of the toys on display...I must be old! lol. I even currently have one of them..the dog coin bank.. if youre a fan of old cars(and 3 newer ones) youll like this place.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem and so glad we went in!! It looks confusing when you arrive - but just go in and you wont be disappointed! One of the coolest collections ever - my 12 year old daughter and I had a fantastic time looking around at all the amazing cars, vintage toys and the extensive collection of miniature salemans samples was by far my favorite! Go!

Wow, what a neat place. Antique toys guaranteed to make you reminisce about Christmases and birthdays long gone. Take your time as there is plenty to see. Toy cars, robots, and a plethora of other interesting items. Just walk in the front door of the business and someone will direct you to the museum area. This is definitely worth the trip.

When pulling up to the building you may question if youre in the right locations, lol, I did! I took my 9yr old son and he enjoyed it. Its very small but he loved looking at all the old vehicles. Were not car enthusiast but it was still very enjoyable. All the small old toys were really awesome to see as well.

The museum had a few interesting pieces, mostly model cars and antique salesmans samples. It was mainly one room and it said under construction. We were able to go into a garage which held a Ferrari, a Bentley, a McClaren and other exotic cars as well.

Its FREE! This place is a really cool place to check out some really old toys. Mainly cars and samples/salesman models. Also they have some cool dogs in art. There were some real cars that were beautiful to look at. If you have a car lover or just like looking at things from before you were born, Id highly recommend. Plus its free. You have nothing to lose. Check it out.

This is a unique little museum inside of Elite Auto Detailing. Park in front of the building with the Ferrari sign and Auto Detailing. There s a plaque indicating you re at the right place. It s like a private collection of all kinds of toys - mostly car toys. Vintage fire engines and police cars. Salesman s samples/ models of all kinds of things - mini bathtubs, toilets, saloon bar, coffee bar, ladders, etc. Also there s dolls, animal toys and a whole room dedicated to dog themed toys and paintings. There s also really, super sweet, awesome luxury cars!

Located along an industrial park, inside an investment firm. Self-touring, when you walk in to the right is an enclosed dog art gallery with paintings from the Victorian era to modern art highlighting the joy of four legged friends. The main hall had an ecclectic array of amazing model car toys ranging from the 1800s until current with also other interesting antiques and interesting pieces. It was so fun, and dog friendly!! Pics dont do it justice. Interactive speakerphones available to explain everything youre seeing. It was an eye candy event. The last room was super special, especially for my 10 year old and wife; the space held 3 phenomenal vehicles, a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti. Absolutely stunning! Pretty sure we say Ron Sturgeon (owner) there. Blown away by this amazing collection. ONLY drawback was it needed a bit of cleaning on a few items and better air flow. Other then that it was an amazing time, definitely worth the visit.

Not so much a toy museum as a collection of boy/man toys, still it was a lot of fun. However, how can one set out expensive cars, leave them unlocked, be unavailable while we are on our self guided tour, then be irritated when we are opening the unlocked cars. A Lamborghini. Unlocked in a museum. In a room where you can touch other things and no host available? Oh hell yes Im gonna touch all over that baby like shes mine for a few seconds. Be grateful I didnt start it as the keys were in it (or another one we saw which was just as beautiful) and take tf off. Im that kind of crazy just not that kind of stupid. Over all, lots of neat and nifty little and large things for ones visual perusal. Please be mindful of what one is and is unable to touch. The curator is civil when relaying the info, but the distaste is quite obvious. (Suggestion: make your signs more outstanding. Average little do not touch signs amongst a litany of other signs and things filling most of the available space on the wall are unlikely to stand out to people who happen to see the exhibits before they see the signs. Thank you for the availability of the museum.)

This place blew my mind. In the middle of an industrial area surrounded by salvage yards, you would never know that this place existed. There are over 3000 vintage toy and/or scale model cars including a fabulous Batmobile and some meticulously designed Rolls Royces. A number of preWWII vintage toy cars too. Well worth a visit!
