My daughter and I had a wonderfully relaxing day floating along the lazy river. We spent almost the entire day just drifting and enjoying the serene atmosphere. We even decided to splurge on a cabana, despite the fact that there weren t many people around, and I have to say, it was worth every penny. The service at the cabana was absolutely top-notch probably the most attentive service I ve experienced in recent memory. The food was delicious and, surprisingly, pretty decently priced, which was a nice bonus. Now, I do have two minor complaints, though one might be a bit out of anyone s control. First, the wasps. Unfortunately, I got stung twice and my wife once while we were just floating along. I guess the wasps were just as keen on enjoying the lazy river as we were. As much as I d love to see them ejected for loitering, I realize that they re not exactly responsive to customer service requests, so I ll chalk it up to nature doing its thing. My second complaint is about the tubes in the river. The park was far from busy, but I still found myself bumping into what felt like 200 empty tubes just hanging out. I get that the tubes are part of the charm, but when there s more empty ones than people, it starts to feel like a tube traffic jam. I think the experience would ve been even more enjoyable if I wasn t constantly dodging them like I was in some kind of slow-motion bumper car game. All in all, it was a great day, and I would definitely come back maybe next time with a wasp repellent and a plan to navigate the tube obstacle course!

It is a very enjoyable Water park. When staying at Gaylord, you can take the shuttle and a simple baggage inspection will be conducted. Tubes for the lazy river are provided inside. Four hours with the kids passed by so quickly. Water slides are fun, zip lines, lazy river, etc. There are many colorful things to enjoy. While staying at Gaylord, come here and beat the heat. It would be nice if you blew it away.

This place is tiny. The pictures online make it seem huge, but its extremely small. The zip line online looks like it goes way out, but its actually about 8-10 feet in total travel distance! We went on a not very busy day and sat/ordered from multiple areas, and the service is vastly different depending on where you sit. I was really discouraged after walking to the bar to order a drink, only to watch the staff chit chat for a few minutes before someone finally acknowledged me, just to let me know I had to be seated and wait for a server to take my order. Then, 10 minutes later, I watched someone else walk right to the bar and order, no issues. The staff are not on the same page with how this place is run.

We do an annual staycation at the Gaylord and paradise springs and usually love it! However, still time we noticed a significant change. Usually, only hotel guests were able to use to water park but now ANYONE can get daily passes without staying at the Gaylord. We were extremely disappointed with the absurd amount of people, the wait, etc. simply gross! Hotel guests should receive some sort of priory over daily admissions. (Similar to a fast pass).

Waterpark it fine but the staff is hardcore level or I should say the lifeguards are brutal. My daughter is 10 but short for her age and is literally less than a quarter inch too short for the big slide and zip line to not have to wear a life jacket and they wouldn t make any exceptions! I get they don t know that she s been swimming since she was 2 and better than most adults but give me a break! It s embarrassing enough that she gets picked on allot for being short but to not let her on here just made the experience really bad!

We stayed at the Gaylord for one night with the purpose of taking our son to this water park for his birthday. We checked in, got dressed, and took the trolley to Paradise Springs. It was easy peasy to do that. There s the area for kids with plenty seating even though it was moderately packed. Someone s always leaving. We eventually moved by the lazy river area and there were still places to sit. We stayed from 3:30-7 and it was more than enough time to enjoy it. Our room was ready early. Our kids enjoyed every single area of the water park, but their favorite was the lazy river. Only thing we didn t do was eat there. We ate right before arriving to the hotel to save some money. If you re debating, don t. Our kids range in age from 8-12. If you have littles, the kids area is perfect for them. The whole place is very spacious. They have towels and dressing areas there. Have fun!!

The water park was very nice and so were the greeters. The serving staff were a bit different. We rented one of the private gazebos and wait staff never came. We saw one guy dressed in black standing at a small desk on our walk to order and get our food who stared but didnt offer any assistance or tell anyone we didnt have a server. It was weird. There were like 4 people standing behind the bar at any given time but they werent very warm. They were the ones who informed us that we should have been waited on having paid all of the extras to have the private space and talked amongst themselves about a girl who should have been there. It was one of those conversations that sounded like they may have been irritated with the girl already. We told them it was fine since we didnt see anyone over there maybe no one knew we were there. We went over to the lazy river to live our best resort lives where a lady was standing and what looked like organizing something and waited until she was done to ask her a question about the donut floats. She kind of ignored us, but if youre busy, its fine. The reason I mentioned her is that hours later we noticed that a few people were by the pool and she apparently was also the server for our area. We were hoping to get drinks but she ignored our attempts to get her attention then went the opposite way which kind of made me think that she was upset when the servers were talking about how she was supposed to wait on us and they possibly confronted her. So we walked back across to order drinks. While we are standing patiently waiting (remember it was not busy) but the serving staff were always looking busy which was weird. Anyway, in walks idk a 5th staff member complaining about the a****** family at which point the entire staff engages. We did not interrupt and after they were done we got our drinks. I have no desire to get extra special sauce in any of my drinks or food and it was a resort day so no one in my group whined cried or complained. This is just what it was. We go back over to our private area and enjoy. A while later a lady shows up and said oh my I just came on shift and no one told me we had a private gazebo today. Can I get you anything. She was so nice even though we didnt need anything so Im guessing their A staff worked the later shift. Oh and the shuttle drivers, the people at the entrance, just inside the entrance and I believe I saw a person or two cleaning and changing towels but they were all warm, inviting and just so nice. I dont even think some of the entrance people spoke a lot of English, but even their mannerisms were just delightful.

Resort prices without the resort experience. Bought a resort pass. Drinks are over priced and gross. Not a lot of adult/ quiet places. Honestly picked this since it was associated with the Gaylord I thought it would be high end but it was just expensive. Not great service. The bartender was watching the football game while mixing my drink. Also expect up charges. First row of lounge chairs by the pool are reserved and available for an extra fee. Nothing special about the other than they are the first row. Ridiculous. Would not recommend especially for the price. Go to hurricane harbor. Or your local municipal water park.

A very nice option that came with the hotel package we booked. Unfortunately for us our two toddlers couldnt use the slides or Zipline (under 42 inch height limits)... But we still made the most of this experience. The lazy River was a huge hit for my family - Every day we visited. The water was refreshing and bathrooms were closed by. Food and drinks could be delivered to your chair ... Pretty nice touch they have here at this park. Kona Ice was a huge hit for my girls until the bees came flying by. The shuttle drivers from the hotel made us smile. We enjoyed this every day we stayed. Hopefully we get to return again. Thank you for the hospitality! Respectfully, A satisfied bonvoy member. I purchased a resort pass to the pool. Get there early as parking takes time. You need to park in the garage and then go to the lobby then the to the end of the hotel to wait for the pool shuttle to come and pick you up to take you to the pool. All the lounge chairs along the front of the pool are reserved for an additional cost. I liked that there are plenty of shaded areas with umbrellas. Food was good and reasonably priced. Pool staff was very friendly and helpful.

We used resort pass, it was not crowded, but school had just started back. Its not exactly a water park, certainly much more than a resort pool. Mix of people with young kids, teenagers and a few groups/ adult couples. Vegas style pool party no, college 1st weekend back blow out, no. A nice place with some slides, food, great attentive staff yes. Not sure why a cabana is $400. Unless it includes private dances and consensual adult contact, what it the $400 for? A curtain?

Paradise Springs is a great place to go and is free for overnight guests to the Gaylord Texan. The shuttle bus runs back and forth all day and is even wheelchair accessible with a ramp. During the week (even in high summer), its not necessary to reserve a lounge chair if you get there within the first hour or two that it opens, however as the day progresses, there are less of the first come first served chairs available. Im not sure about weekends. Theres plenty here to keep the kids entertained for hours, although we wished there werent rules about not bringing coolers and food in. Youre forced to try and sneak snacks in or pay the exorbitant prices at the cantina. We opted to sneak stuff in. All in all, a fun way to spend the day.

We rode our bikes a short distance from the hotel to get here. It was fun. This is definitely a place to bring the kids to tire them out. There are shaded areas for relaxing. Too many children for us to stay very long as we had left our girls at home. We preferred the hotel pool for relaxing. The lazy river is fairly small with lots of water features to avoid if you are floating with a beverage. The food was good poolside fare, but you have the full hotel kitchen at your disposal at the hotel poolside. There are plenty of lifeguards and everyone seemed to be having a blast there. Many locals. I had a good sandwich and a good beer here and we stayed an hour or so and continued on to Grapevine.

When I brough it up to our server And concierge they basically said doesnt matter. I ask if I could move to that section since I am a paying guest for the Deck lounge seats they say NO! MY SECTION HAD NO UMBRELLA WHEN I was told it should be, but the white folks without paying had a shaded area then we did. Sorry for being Latinx family and paying to receive a better service. Busy day nice area though, we enjoyed the lazy river the most. I did think there were a lot of beach chairs that were blocked off as reserved which was frustrating but if you can do that, it would be smart to make sure you have a good spot to lay out. We went as guests of the resort hotel and got 4 passes per room.

Even though it smaller, I prefer this water park over great wolf lodge. All outdoor only open through the summer, but much more relaxing. Not only young kid focused, but inclusive to all ages.

It was pretty small but it was fun and very intimate. I didnt understand why there was so many people behind the counter doing nothing and took a while to get all the way in. But it was ok. Also they didnt serve food unless it was room service from the hotel.

Booked the water park day package at the Gaylord which advertised as Paradise Springs only to arrive and find out 70% of the slides were not open and the side that is Paradise springs were completely closed. We were left with a Lazy River, kids pool and 1 small slide. Lunch was limited with only 4 items on the menu (chicken nuggets, hot dog, chicken taco or Caesar salad. They were out of Tea and 4 chicken nuggets, 3 hot dogs cost over $100. We had to pick up our own food and bus our own table but the bar was adamant about a tip. Parking was a challenge and additional cost of $25 which is par the course with this experience.
