My family took me to celebrate my birthday!! We had great service, the server informed us that as of Monday they would be closing their doors. The establishment had been sold to another company. This was my second time visiting here, but I am sorry to see it go. If you want to visit a Brick House Tavern in Fort Worth I am told.

I really want to like this place a lot but the service is terrible. They are so short-staffed and work their staff to the point where they are frustrated and take it out on us. Drinks took forever and the food was lukewarm. So that said, the waitress really tried her best and the food tasted good. Ill try it again.

we had reservations and attended 3 tables before us, we waited more 25 minutes and never came the waitress to take the order or at least ask for the order to drink. talk to the restaurant manager and he didnt even apologize. i dont really recommend this place

Went with a party of 9 people just after 5 pm on Saturday. They were quick to accommodate all of us. Our server was wonderful! She kept our drinks filled and checked on us often. The food was good. We started out with the Mozzarella Bricks, and the marinara was tasty! I had the Lobster Mac-n-Cheese. It was a white cheese that reminded me of Panera Breads Mac-n-Cheese, which I enjoy. My husband had the Drunken Pork Chops with Tator Tots. He said the chops were tasty, but the tots were slightly overdone for his liking, which means they were perfect to me. I almost wish we had gotten a dessert, because there were a couple on the menu that sounded delicious, but the dinner portions were big enough that I would have been miserable if we had. I look forward to eating there again next time were in town.

Ate at bar last night and like other reviewers seats were in bad shape. Ordered wine and wasnt asked if I wanted 6/9 oz. Wasnt given options of happy hour drinks. Bartender just assumed I wanted the larger size wine and each glass I ordered was same. Needless to say she also could have suggested a bottle as being cheaper than 13$ a glass. This is decoy wine and shouldnt even be that expensive by the glass. Wasnt until I got bill that I realized I had been charged so much for wine. Disappointing for sure.

First and last visit. Here on a Saturday morning and theres no champagne for the mimosas. The breakfast board is not listed on the brunch menu nor was there a suggestion from our waitress to try it. She seemed more concerned with taking care of other tables No jam or jelly for the English muffins. The maple candied slab bacon was nothing as described. And $6 for 2 pieces of basic bacon when it should have been mapled and candied is too expensive. Hash browns were overly burnt. Bathroom was mood lighting dark. Our waitress was not attentive... We had to flag her down and she didnt check on us during the meal.

Do NOT go to this restaurant. This was such a disappointing experience. We sat on the patio for lunch and that was such a mistake. The waitress (who I believe was named Torel) was so rude and did not hide the fact that she did NOT want to be on the patio. In fact, one of the first thing she said to us was I don t want to be out here more than I have to because I m hot and I have a sunburn. Every time we asked her for something, we were met with moaning, groaning, and sighs of exasperation. She was boarder-line disrespectful. We were in the shade and it was only about 89 degrees so I would hate to see this woman waiting tables in the middle of the summer. She rushed us throughout the entire visit and she rarely visited the table to top off drinks/check on us/etc. because she obviously didn t want to be out there. Not only was the service terrible, but the food was disappointing as well. I ordered the Bacon Mac Burger and it was not good. The hamburger patty was super flat and dry and the macaroni and cheese had little to no cheese. I ended up just scraping the mac and cheese off because it tasted like I was just eating pasta noodles on a burger. To top things off, at the end, our waitress brought one receipt and was then upset when we wanted separate ones. She didn t even bother to ask us before she brought the one ? I tried to help her out by writing out who ordered what, but she still gave me attitude and stormed off to go run the tickets. It was all so unnecessary. I have never been so bothered by someone s attitude in my whole life! Service was bad food was bad just don t waist your time!

A pretty long drive from my house so we probably wont go often, but my experience at Brick House was great. Weve been to other locations before but were told that this location isnt affiliated with them. Some of the menu items are the same, but not all of them. That being said, the fish and chips was excellent. I would definitely get it again. We also had the Bleu and White chips and my husband got a bison burger. He said it was delicious. We went for lunch so it wasnt super busy. Our waitress was very attentive and personable. Well definitely be back.

When we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night, they say our party of 5 right away. They even let us pick our table. This seemed like an effort at good customer service, but to me it said they werent very busy on a night thats usually pretty packed. There were mixed reviews on the food. The sandwich I got was great, but the fries were just okay. A friend ordered a drink and it wasnt very good. Everyone at the table ordered something different and it was all middle of the road.

Great place to eat, drink and enjoy friends. Food was great with the menu variety different than the one in Galvaston, TX but still on point. Drinks were better and margaritas were outstanding as always. Really enjoy the atmosphere here and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Saturday night and its empty. French onion soup was canned and not very good. Mac n cheese was dry and bland. Salmon was pretty good but mashed potatoes were gross. Flatbread pizza wasnt great. Asked for silverware... got 3 forks and no napkins. Not impressed, Applebees is much better and thats saying lot.

Very pricey for what you get. No nachos or chips and caso/salsa major negative in my book. The white and blue chips are ridiculously over priced. $9.50 for a very small portion of over cooked potato chips is a terrible deal. The chicken strips were good but the whiskey BBQ sauce was not.

I like this place. I had the salmon the last time. It was good. But I kind of wish I had had the lamb burger. (I was trying to be healthy). Next time I go, Im having the lamb burger........ Well, actually, NO IM NOT, because it isnt on the menu anymore. In fact, it looks like they changed the menu (I remember a brown paper menu, now its a slick, glossy, laminated menu). I didnt have the old menu memorized, but it seems to me like they removed some of the more interesting stuff. It feels like a much more pedestrian menu. (Id love to know what the changes were). Frankly, I had a hard time finding anything I wanted on the menu. And in addition, it looks like they slapped a bunch of big screen TVs up (all of which were playing golf). I dont recall all those TVs in the dining area on previous visits. What once felt like a (slightly) upscale tavern now feels like another sports bar (as if there werent enough of those already). FWIW, the burger I SETTLED ON wasnt bad. But it wasnt any better than a dozen other places (Bottle Cap Alley, Red Robin, Peace Burger, to name three) that are serving burgers. In fact, it wasnt anything I couldnt make at home for 1/3 the price. I am lowering my rating from four stars to three stars. And frankly, I doubt I will ever go back. 2022-02-13 Well I did go back and Im sorry I did. I liked the original Brick House a few years back. But it was sold and now its basically a sports bar with a sports bar menu. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It wasnt hot. It actually didnt have that much flavor. The first thing I asked when it arrived was Wheres the hot sauce? I didnt see any indication of hot sauce on the sadwich (intended). The waitress brought some extra hot sauce which was a nasty oily mess (I didnt use it). I also commented to the waitress that the fries order looked a little skimpy. She went to the kitchen and returned to inform me that that was the standard order. Really, you cant bring out a few extra fries on a $13.50 sandwich (sadwich)? The fries really did look like a half order on the platter they brought out. And the service was not very good either. I only went back to this place because my food buddy kept asking me if I would try it again. He promised that if I went back and didnt like it, hed never ask about it again. Im going to hold him to that.

Atmosphere was great. However, I ordered an old fashioned and they tried to charge me for a double. I asked for an explanation and the bar manager said they have a single which is 1.5 oz pour, a perfect which is 2 oz, and a double which is 3 oz pour. Should be 3.5 stars, Im being nice. Second time here was better than the first. The pork chops dinner was good so compliments to the cooks. The bartender was helpful and fun. Every seat at the bar is falling apart. The food is highly priced for a place that resembles a dive sports bar. Thought about getting steak but they want $35+. I can eat at a high end restaurant for a few dollars more, why should I eat here?

Surprisingly good! The cheeseburger I had was tasty! Even the leftovers the next day were good. That doesnt usually happen. The fries were ok, despite the waiter saying they were really good. A definite average, maybe ask for them to be cooked longer? Or try something else. I really wanted fries. My friends really liked their food too. One also had a burger, the other had a chicken sandwich which looked as good as the menu picture. We didnt have drinks, school night and everyone was driving. Surprisingly the only negative was way too many TVs. Its literally eye pollution. Very distracting if youre actually there to eat and have a conversation. I dont see the point of a TV for almost every table if your only going to show three channels? With so much light from the TVs its pretty hard on the ol eyes too. Id definitely go back, just look for a table without so many sets in my line of sight. And to try some flights of beer. Looked like they had a good selection.

This place has a lot of good reviews, so I m not sure if we just went on an off night or what. Regardless, I have to say two stars. When I walked in, the restaurant was empty, no patrons at any tables. Even if it was a slow night, nobody greeted me at the door. I had to actually walk up to two workers sitting at one of the tables to see if I was able to sit wherever I wanted. The waitress was very sweet and very friendly. Three of us ordered top sirloin and after that she came back and said that they only had one in the entire restaurant. The other two people who ordered steak and couldn t get it received a free meal But we really wanted steak. Honestly it just seemed weird that a large restaurant ran out of some thing like steak. Our bills were separate So the people who received free meals couldn t even tip a waitress. When the food came out, it looked good. The taste however was not anything to write home about. The fish was bland, the mashed potatoes had been under a heating lamp for at least three hours, and the birthday girl got a free lemon drop shot that tasted like sulfuric acid. I don t know what kind of vodka was used in that thing, but it should be illegal in all 50 states.

Updated review... Been eating the double pork chop have for awhile now. Its been getting worst each time; been getting tougher and smaller. Today will be the last day I order it. Old review... Sit on the couch and have a nice meal. The chicken meat balls and pork chops was really good. The sides of twice bake potato was good too. The steak here on Friday to Sunday is really good too. I will be back again to try the duck wings.

Its just ok. Not much in terms of style or atmosphere. The beer selection was ok. The food was decent but nothing special. For example the brussels sprouts were good. But the avocado toast was not. They didnt use fresh avocados. They used some prepackaged guacamole paste. It was gross. The waitress was nice and helpful and quick.

This place is so nice. The ambiance is extremely beautiful. My son enjoyed the beers and the fact no matter where you sit you can see the tvs. We were from out of town, and my son called them to find out what beer he drank. If I could give this less than 1 star I would. Terrible, slow service with no cocktail skills to make a simple Paloma.my cocktail showed up after the app. We ordered pretzels for an appetizer that looked like they were from the frozen section of the grocery store.. their menu said they were supposed to be sticks and they served the knotted pretzels. There were at least 3 other very unhappy tables around us. We left without eating.

We ordered Fish and Chips. The fish tasted horrible, it was greasy and over cooked. Their fries were just as bad, over cooked and greasy. Our waiter got every thing mixed up. He brought out a bottle of ketchup that was basically empty for 8 people to use. I paid 48 dollars for 3 orders of Fish and Chips, that consisted of a few fries and 3 thin pieces of fried fish. We will not be going back.

I enjoy this place. The food is bomb and drinks are fresh. A lot of options for both. The staff are authentic people. Ups and downs with good intentions. No complaints. I enjoy coming here for the food and trying something new or enjoying the environment. Cheers!

Went there recently with my wife and after we were seated we got ignored by all the waitstaff. Six waitstaff walked past our table several times each. One of the waitstaff stood at a table next to us and carried on a personal conversation with the people at that table that lasted about 10 minutes. Finally I had enough of being ignored so we got up and walked out and went somewhere else to eat. I guess they don t want to serve elderly people at the brickhouse. We are not ever coming back to this place. But I am going to speak with an attorney about getting treated like this to see what could be done and to ask if this could be considered age discrimination and elderly abuse.

Decent food but terrible service, stood at the hottest stand for about 3 minutes and made eye contact with 2 servers and finally a host comes out of the back to seat us. Had 7 tables in the whole place and still couldnt get our server to pay attention to us. Would pass our table 3-4 times with empty drinks infront of all of us and would literally have to flag her down to get a refill. We paid out and walked next door to chillis and watched the rest of the game and drank over there instead. Way cheaper, better drinks, and waaaay better service.

Had late night appetizers and drinks. The cauliflower bites looked terrible and were sent back. The server was nice. The manager was condescending. He took it off the tab but asked if we wanted them as if we wanted the old looking as long as we didnt have to pay. No... they look bad, listen to what were saying. We He said it was probably just the bottom of the cauliflower bag. He was pretty adamant about defending the cauliflower :-) and never simply said sorry. I would say the avocado toast had nice presentation and taste. Perhaps dont go here after 10 pm

In town for a convention and we ve eaten here twice because everyone loved their menu, service and affordability so much. Unique items that have all been prepared perfectly to the point that everyone at the table said multiple times how great their food was. I had the miso salmon the 2nd time and I think it was the best salmon dish I ve had. Paired very well with the rice and brussel sprouts flavoring. Great choice for lunch or dinner!

Its always good food. IMO, it seems a little over priced for what you get. I used to come here about once a month because they were the only bar I could find that had cask beer. Something oddly satisfying about room temperature beer pumped from a cask. I visited today and they no longer do casks. Theyve lost their uniqueness.
